30/07/2024: We entered it out of curiosity. Attracted by the beauty of the place. We stayed for a cocktail. The kindness and welcome of Jonathan and Fanny touched us so much (knowing that they are masters in their field). Next stop, the gourmet restaurant and the hotel.

28/07/2024: Fanny Rey und Jonathan Wahid sind grosse Künstler. Das Menu mit Worten zu beschreiben fällt nicht leicht, es ist wie Weltliteratur oder wie klassische Musik, voller Nuancen, es ist die volle Intensitätspalette an allen möglichen Geschmacksrichtungen. Es war eine ohne Übertreibung beglückende, bereichernde Erfahrung! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

15/08/2024: Dîner au roof top le 8 août : table exceptionnelle. La vue superbe sur les toits de la ville et de l’église avec le coucher de soleil en prime! Puis le décor avec ce mobilier à la fois chic moderne et confortable et ces petits oliviers entre chaque table! Enfin le service juste et avenant et enfin le dîner avec menu unique qui nous a ravi les papilles de bout en bout. Le poisson est superbement mis à l’honneur dans des assiettes aussi belles que délicieuses! Le dessert autour de la fraise n’avait pas à rougir…! Un moment hors du temps qui nous a comblé comme très rarement !

01/09/2024: Très bon restaurant avec une magnifique terrasse sur une très belle place au milieu de Saint Rémy. À chacune de nos venues nous avons été ravis de notre repas et du service. De plus les prix sont très doux pour St Rémy. Allez-y sans hésiter sachant qu'il est préférable de réserver. Encore bravo à toute l'équipe !

18/05/2024: Excellent food, starters, main and dessert. Generous and very kind staff. Warm atmosphere of a small restaurant. Don't be biased that due to its central location, it is touristic - we were the only non french when visited there.

17/05/2024: There wasn’t anything wrong with the dishes as such, they just didn’t quite hit the mark. Tomato tarte tatin didn’t have the full powered tomato flavour you’d expect from Provençal produce, the pastry was soggy and not crisp, Asparagus with a sea bream fillet was pleasant, the sort of thing I’d cook at home. Dessert of pavlova was lovely, local strawberries in season delicious. But it wasn’t exactly pushing the boundaries. Wine was pretty good & the service very attentive & efficient. It was the most expensive meal we had and a bit disappointing.

This family run restaurant had excellent service and the food was simply delicious. from Foie Gras, Chaude Goat Salad, Fish, Lamb, and cheese plate we enjoyed everything. Highly recommended. 29/08/2024: What a great and delicious experience! We first visited Xavier at Xa in 1990, then again in 1994 on our honeymoon. We were already fascinated by this beautiful restaurant with a retro look, the personal welcome from Xavier and the cooking skills of his wife Martine. Over 30 years later we visited the Xa again on the occasion of our 30th wedding anniversary on a trip to Provence. Unfortunately we learned that Xavier had passed away. However, the restaurant has remained unchanged and Martine is still conjuring up her very tasty menus in the kitchen! We were warmly welcomed and served by Melanie, Xavier and Martine's daughter. A wonderful, unforgettable evening, with excellent food and wine, in the middle of St-Rémy, with many memories. Merci Martine and Melanie, we'll be back!

23/08/2024: Ein schönes Wiedersehen mit einem Restaurant, das einen ganz besonderen Zauber verbreitet. Martines Kreationen sind einfach und köstlich - und manche Highlights sind seit bald vierzig Jahren auf der Karte und schmecken noch genauso gut! Wo gibt es das noch. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal.
