16/10/2026: We had dinner there in mid-October for two people. Excellent dish. The suckling pig was my favorite meal of the entire trip. I savored every bite; it was meltingly tender and flavorful, just the way I like it. It was a bit noisy that evening because of a large table, but a superb meal nonetheless. Thank you.
14/10/2026: Passing through Porto, we decided to have dinner at the family-run Chez Félix inn in the village of Ota, a 10-minute drive up in the hills above Porto. We weren't disappointed. The terrace is large and pleasant. It was dark, so we couldn't enjoy the view, which looked magnificent. We ordered the full menu for €32, consisting of Corsican charcuterie, roast suckling pig with zucchini fritters and a choice of homemade dessert, and the 380g ribeye steak for €30. The home cooking was delicious, carefully prepared, and the portions were generous. Everything was excellent. The ribeye was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The welcome was warm and attentive. Félix's daughter offered us a complimentary homemade digestif. We had a wonderful evening. We highly recommend it!

01/10/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with a lovely terrace.
The staff is also very friendly. The food is excellent and plentiful; the cannelloni with Brocciu cheese are superb and very generously portioned.
The homemade wild boar terrine is beautifully presented and delicious.
The wild boar in sauce is delicious and very hearty. A place to recommend without hesitation.
20/09/2026: Delicious, ex-firefighter, not a cook, but a CHEF, deserves a medal. Local, fresh, flavorful products!!! Bravo!!!

20/08/2026: We ate there last night after a strenuous hike to Cap Rosso before heading back to Sagone where we're staying for the holidays, and it was a lovely surprise. The restaurant was recommended by Hervé, a local, and he was absolutely right because everything is perfect, right down to the people who run the place. 5 stars!

12/10/2026: This place rocks! No pun intended... Seriously, the food at lunch was excellent at a very fair price. Spending an afternoon lunch on a boat was quite relaxing, and Tracy provided excellent service and was very engaging. I would highly recommend for lunch or dinner, but be sure to make a reservation!

16/07/2026: A very welcoming restaurant with wonderful owners and absolutely delicious Nepalese food! The chicken curry was excellent, and I also highly recommend the local drinks and the punch. The lassi dessert and the homemade clementine chutney served with the Corsican cheese were outstanding.

13/06/2026: We spent two nights in a room overlooking the sea. We were able to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the place by opening the shutters each morning. Breakfast was more than enough to recharge our batteries, and the owners were incredibly kind! We have absolutely no complaints; we had a wonderful time!

21/08/2026: The property is dated, but our room was basic but clean. The staff was very friendly (with one slightly moody exception). It's fine for short stays, but I don't think I'd return.

18/07/2024: Nous y avons dîné en famille . Le cadre est juste incroyable avec vue sur la mer et soleil couchant pour le dîner . Quand certains restaurants pourraient se reposer surtout sur ça , ici la qualité de la nourriture (nous avons pris poisson sauvage pêche locale , les accompagnements étaient aussi excellents ) ainsi que le service sont aussi au rendez vous pour vous faire passer un moment perché. Un grand merci à Quentin pour son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse , notamment avec les enfants. Nous recommandons fortement, bravo à toute l’équipe.

Une carte courte de plats locaux. Des assiettes généreuses et des produits de qualité. L'assiette de poissons fumés est une merveille !
Un choix de bouteilles de vin de 50cl, ce qui est rare.

Perfect value for money
03/08/2026: This review is for the hotel only, not the restaurant.
The location is excellent. However, the hygiene was unacceptable. There was a strong smell of cat urine in the entrance area – the owners feed several cats right in front of the main entrance, where they lie all day and presumably also relieve themselves. The room was very dirty, the floor was filthy, and the terrace was covered in bird droppings and obviously hadn't been cleaned. The bathroom was okay, but the overall atmosphere was musty and unpleasant.
The owners' rude behavior was particularly annoying. We hadn't booked breakfast. The owner simply asked us if we wanted breakfast the next morning – we said yes, just for that one night. Despite this, he tried to charge us for breakfast for all four nights we had booked. Only after we spoke with him did he withdraw this charge.
In addition, there was noise pollution: The restaurant is located directly below the rooms. When the restaurant closed, the chairs were loudly pushed together, causing an unacceptable amount of noise.
I cannot recommend this hotel. Avoid this accommodation and book one of the many others in the area instead.
