09/06/2026: "A fantastic find! This café successfully combines the charm and vibrancy of a Parisian brasserie with the conviviality and warm welcome of Burgundy. The service is quick, the staff are remarkably kind, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Special mention for the coffee and the terrace. A perfect stop before heading out to explore the Morvan. I recommend it 100%!"
28/05/2026: Excellent coffee, one of the most stylish in Europe. Friendly service, often busy. Lovely terrace. Prices a bit high, but a great location.

The rooms lived up to the high standard.
05/05/2026: A magnificent stay!! From the warm welcome and Hugo's helpfulness (thank you!), to the divine meal, a room with a view of a lush garden, and best of all, meeting the absolutely lovely Madame Bérengère Loiseau. In short, if you want an unforgettable experience, go to Saulieu! 🤩

The room was functional and clean with a comfortable bed.
Very good breakfast.
07/12/2025: Our experience, after a night spent at the Hôtel de Bourgogne in Saulieu, included a very pleasant exchange with our host. While the room was admittedly rustic, the bedding was impeccable.
Impersonal hotel chains are not for us.
We had a delightful encounter with the owner.
It all started with a Cuiralatre counterweighted rotisserie that stood proudly in one of the dining rooms.
We also learned about the creation of Courtepaille in Burgundy by Jean Loisier, the brand's founder.
We learned a great deal and wish him well in passing on the torch; a lifetime of experience is priceless!
One night from December 6th to 7th.

Years that we no longer know and a problem with hot water in the morning… a shame because the staff is charming and professional

We recommend this hotel ++ and will come back very soon! Thanks again to the whole team and also to Mr. Abernot for everything!
