29/06/2026: This restaurant, which was the best in Évreux 15 years ago, has certainly changed! There's a limit to how much you can treat your customers... Many restaurants complain about customers who make reservations and then don't show up, and rightly so, of course. But at the slightest sound of a boiled egg, you make a reservation and they close without warning 😡. You make a reservation at lunchtime for the evening, call with your number displayed, they take your name and time, and when you arrive, the restaurant is closed! Obviously, you need a modicum of intelligence or respect for your customers to check your call history and let them know you have an unforeseen problem. We can understand that, but the least you could do is try to inform customers who are counting on you for dinner. Clearly, that's not how they operate. Fortunately, there are now some good restaurants in this city, so go elsewhere if you don't want to be disappointed. We had the pleasure of dining at O ​​Saveurs, a pleasant terrace, refined cuisine; we were definitely better off. A word to the wise...

11/07/2026: I was disappointed by the lamb crisps; the lamb was minced, dry, without any binding, wrapped in filo, and the beef steak was really not tender.

05/07/2026: Our stay at Le Jardin des Plumes was the perfect ending to our trip to France. The hotel and its grounds were idyllic. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The entire staff at the front desk and restaurant were friendly, professional and helpful. We dined at the restaurant for dinner and selected the five course tasting menu. The food was phenomenal and the service was impeccable.. It was our best meal in France.

03/07/2026: Four years ago I , went to your restaurant and had an amazing meal. Everything was great: thé food, the atmosphere, the service. I couldn’t wait to go back. This time, it was a big disappointment. We drove ann hour from Paris just to come here. The atmosphere is still nice. The wait staff is attentive. But the food - and the staff response to our observations - were not what we expected from a Michelin restaurant. The amuse bouche was fine - not outstanding. The Trout entree (appetizer ) on the other hand was not acceptable. It was “Fishy”. Not fresh. That should not happen. When we noted this bad taste to the waiter - he first checked with the chef (or at least that’s what he said) and then he offered to change it to another entree- - for a €20 up charge. That’s not what we expect to hear at a restaurant of this supposed quality. We declined. The monkfish main course was tasty. The lamb was not. It was pretty. Properly “Rose” in color - but it was both tough and bland at the same time. Overall it was disappointing experience. We won’t be back.

A truly wonderful place. We will gladly return.

15/07/2026: We went for Mother's Day; the set menu was perfect, but the only downside, considering the price, was the coffee served in a paper cup – a real shame. A little sprucing up of the terrace would be a plus, especially since the setting is ideal. The staff and owners are very friendly and attentive to their customers.

The meal is superb, with small pastries, an amuse-bouche, a starter, an ice cream, a main course, cheese, and dessert for the tasting menu. The service is particularly remarkable. The setting is pleasant, with tables well-spaced. In the summer, you can enjoy the peaceful terrace. The interior is very cozy. A highly recommended address.
