27/09/2026: The best meal of the whole three week trip in Normandy and Ireland. It doesn't look fancy, but it is a real French restaurant. You get great food. Be warned, the portions are huge, so there won't be much room left after the starter. Everything fresh, everything homemade. The owner is very friendly, "old timers" go there, authentic atmosphere. Nothing for tourists. Oh and good value for money.
19/09/2026: It's a shame the fries are still so-so, otherwise everything is fine. The welcome is still warm, but not always! There's a good variety of dishes (1 to 2 euros more expensive than other restaurants) 🤔
The atmosphere is just average compared to when they first arrived! One and a half eggs for the starter? Why not two eggs like elsewhere? It's not like they cost the most! 😪😪 It's a shame there aren't many choices for starters...

04/10/2026: Impeccable, a superb place, we will definitely return. The staff and the chef were attentive. I loved rediscovering a traditional meal with a trou normand (a small glass of Calvados served between courses) and a cheese trolley. The dishes were beautifully prepared, and the value for money was excellent. Something for every budget. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

29/08/2026: Invited to a wedding reception. The restaurant was entirely private. The decor was magnificent, and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy our meal on the outdoor terrace. Everything is homemade and seasonal! The welcome and service were pleasant. I will return to try their menu.

Everything is homemade, and the service is very welcoming.

I would just suggest a slightly less expensive menu for people passing through who are on a budget and who work in the Gaillon area. Otherwise, everything is perfect, I will be back.
