25/09/2026: One of those wonderful places you're delighted to discover while traveling! From the moment you arrive, you're charmed: a small village typical of the Seine River loops in Normandy, a terrace shaded by two magnificent linden trees, and that genuine village inn atmosphere where regulars, travelers, and passersby mingle. That lunchtime, the restaurant was full, with over sixty covers. And yet, with only two waitresses, the service remained pleasant and efficient. Hats off to them! On the plate, pure pleasure. The homemade Maroilles pâté was a wonderful discovery, and coming from the North, we particularly appreciated finding the true taste of Maroilles cheese. Then came an excellent bavette steak with Camembert: tender, juicy, perfectly seared on the outside and rare in the center, with a perfectly balanced sauce that complements the meat without overpowering it. And all this at very reasonable prices: €12 for the dish of the day, €15.90 for a starter and main course or main course and dessert, and €18.50 for the full set menu with complimentary coffee. But beyond the food, what we'll remember most is the simplicity, the conviviality, and the soul of this inn. Right up to the friendly exchange when it came time to pay the bill, we had a wonderful time. We travel a lot and naturally discover many new places. 14/09/2026: We will cherish the memory of our visit to this restaurant with our two Norwegian friends. The hostess gave us a very friendly and warm welcome. The cuisine was refined and elegant, with excellent presentation. We also received good wine recommendations without being overpriced. The dessert was excellent to finish off our meal after a much-appreciated visit to the cheese board. And the coffee was just as good as everything else! For this €40 menu (excluding the cheeses, which were charged extra), the value for money is excellent. What more can we say? We will gladly return.

13/09/2026: The Green Devils are back with this super friendly team: seasonal, homemade cuisine. There's always a little starter where classic eggs mayonnaise are given a modern twist or beets are elevated to new heights (yes, it's possible!). A delicious vegetarian menu is also available! It's every bit as good as the chef's meat and mashed potato dishes or the fish dishes, often inspired by Asian cuisine. Save room for the perfectly sweet desserts: either fruit-based, chocolate, or the famous crème brûlée. Reservations allow you to prepare for this bistronomic experience. And if you arrive without a reservation, grab the fries with a charcuterie board and a glass of wine before dinner.

12/09/2026: Thank you for this excellent experience at Les Diables Verts. The cuisine, featuring fresh, local ingredients, won us over, and the friendly and relaxed service was greatly appreciated by everyone at the table. The menu offered something for everyone, and everyone enjoyed it. We will definitely return on our next visit to Cormeilles.

02/06/2026: Very quiet hotel, excellent service, gourmet restaurant!

01/06/2026: The atmosphere was straight out of an Agatha Christie film; we spent our entire stay wondering about the identity of the killer of Belle Isle-sur-Risle. We particularly enjoyed the pianist, the mirrors, and the very chic period decor. The hotel is filled with the scents of Normandy. The room was spacious, with a lovely bathroom and an exceptionally comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor pool and the spa. The hotel's surroundings are very pleasant, with a large garden and a particularly welcoming town with plenty of small shops. When will they film the mystery of Belle Isle-sur-Risle?!

20/07/2026: We arrived within the first 50 minutes to get three courses; the service was very slow despite the small number of customers. I was very surprised that our aperitif was served in a birthday cup. Otherwise, we ate very well.

12/09/2026: I noticed that there were hardly any recent reviews. I ate here yesterday. Reserving by phone was not possible. I walked over and made a reservation in person (the staff were sitting outside). The bistro is located in a beautiful building; you can sit inside or outside. The waiter came over to us immediately to ask what we wanted to drink. For me, that always depends on what I'm going to eat, so I like to think about that for a moment. We had also been given the menu, and immediately afterwards, it was placed on our (small) table in English. After a very short time, the waiter came to ask if we had already chosen... I said in broken French that I needed a little more time. After a minute, he came to take our order anyway. I felt quite rushed; I felt like we weren't given the time to decide calmly. What also struck me was the attitude of the (I think) owner of the bistro. She bumped into my chair twice without apologizing. She also remained standing in the doorway, so a waitress, with plates in her hand, had to carefully squeeze around her. She managed that just fine, by the way! All in all, a somewhat strange situation in my view. My partner had a delicious meal; I found the food mediocre (the salmon was not medium, but completely overcooked and on the dry side).

08/09/2026: Recommended by the Routard guide (my bible!). What can I say except that we loved everything: delicious foie gras, a very flavorful pork knuckle, and a tarte tatin that made us want to come back for more! The waiter was very friendly. Thank you for the trou normand!
