27/08/2024: Overpriced dishes and pizzas! Pizza at €16 more than passable, and €8 for a small bowl of tabbouleh which looked more like a starter than a main course… Otherwise the place is nice!

22/08/2024: We enjoyed a delicious pizza in an absolutely unique atmosphere! The service is fast and quality, the kitchens are open and the staff are very pleasant. I highly recommend this place!!

08/09/2024: Came for a drink. The cocktails were basic, nothing transcendent but ok… On the other hand, the service… Very unpleasant.

05/09/2024: Incredible We took a menu for 18 euros It included a starter plus a delicious steak with salad and fries. Exquisite desserts and coffee or tea. Friendly and very pleasant treatment Highly recommended

12/09/2024: Orders Caesar and burger , the beef was so raw as we asked for remaking eat. On the photos you can see how the “request” was done. Salad was really nice. Although I Won’t recommend for burgers though, unless you expect a food poisoning:)

09/09/2024: Nice atmosphere, but unfortunately it's somewhat ruined by music that's way too loud and inappropriate. Eater very tasty, but disproportionately long waiting times. Service very friendly and attentive.

10/09/2024: The most miserable example of a central city cafe I have ever endured. Staff unmotivated, the lobster ravioli was a reheated dish. The “club sandwich” was a simple ham & cheese sandwich prepared the day before in some industrial kitchen. The wines were most likely selected for its price point rather than its quality. And all this in front of The Grand Hotel.

03/09/2024: To flee. After a period of improvement, deplorable service from salespeople who are often unpleasant. For the second day in a row, I arrive around 5:30 p.m. to buy a bastidienne and there are none left, the batch is being cooked. No anticipation. The only option is to buy an overpriced organic baguette that would put a baker worthy of the name to shame. I add that the baker of the day is slumped on his table with a crazy desire to work. Deplorable.

26/08/2024: The bread is good though, the staff handle the bread and money. Some sellers wear gloves but also handle money with them, the purpose is the same. As for the reception, it's very random, it all depends on who you meet. Damage. Modification on 26.08.2024: how to go from 3 stars to 1: purchase this morning at 11 a.m. of a black forest for 20 euros, supplement 2 euros for morello cherries, and which morello cherries? One on the black forest and three more inside!! And the little bonus when eating this black forest, just an hour of waiting for it to defrost because of course no one informs you that it is frozen! Once defrosted, seriously it's not worth the 22 euros, no taste of chocolate as indicated on the label in the bakery, no taste of morello cherries because they don't exist, just the sensation of having been rolled up. In Mr. Petit's time, the bakery was always full, today it is a desert and we understand why. Yes, last detail change of the bastidienne recipe, nothing more to see. Come on, one less customer and that's it, keep making fun of your customers and hiring untrained kids who just don't care, who don't do their job and we always have the You feel like you're disturbing, you're on the right track. We live close by but we will get our bread, pastries and cakes elsewhere. Sincerely.

20/08/2024: Bordeaux brasserie located opposite the cathedral. Very pleasant terrace. Disappointed, however, by the proportions of the plates. The duck breast displayed on the menu corresponds to a 1/2 breast. Impeccable service.

18/08/2024: Pedí una sopa de pescado y me sirvieron una crema de marisco llena de espinas y con las cascaras de las gambas. Era imposible poder hacer una cucharada sin encontrarse los restos. El maitre respondió que la hacían así…. Este tipo de errores no solo proporcionan una mala experiencia al comensal por la textura si no que puede poner en peligro la seguridad de la persona que la está consumiendo.

06/09/2024: Truly perfect cappuccino at only €3.50 in a “Café Viennois” atmosphere. Fast and very kind service. Only B-mol...👀😩 Saturday afternoon from 3 p.m. no hot drinks (according to a waitress). So no coffee, no tea, no cappuccino. Very strange 🤪🤯 because the “iced coffee” order is placed and the coffee is made with the percolator before it cools. Luckily there is another drinking establishment 25 meters away. 😁🙋🏻

08/09/2024: The Le Dijeaux restaurant is a good French bistro with common local dishes such as croque monsieur or croque madame, salads, omelette, fish, very good fried foods and their respective beers. Also, as always, they have flavored syrup for children. The location is very beautiful with the arch on one side and the Gambeta square park on the other.

19/08/2024: We sat down for a coffee. For more than 10 minutes we waited without any waiter looking at us or saying hello. After 15 minutes, we asked a waiter if we could order and he told us to wait for his other colleague. Not a hello, more than 15 minutes of waiting to tell us to wait. So we left. Clearly, nonchalance and antipathy are present at this brewery if there are any fans 😂

08/09/2024: Very good restaurant Even if the staff is very cheerful and pleasant Too much waiting and lag The glass of white wine served 10 minutes before the foie gras Quite a wait between starter and main course and having to ask for the glass of wine to have it before the end of the main course (we got it in the middle) End of service less friendly when paying we felt oppressed to have to pay now immediately We will come back to test it on occasion despite everything, the first time we did not have the same feeling about the service and the staff remains pleasant. 21/09/2024: Stopped for a drink in early afternoon. There was a notice telling people who wanted to sit outside, to see the bar for service. I did this, they said they would come out to take the order. Over ten mins later, someone came. The drink was overpriced and the service was indifferent. A shame, because it’s a good location.

17/09/2024: We got into Bordeaux late afternoon - starving. I’m happy I did not read the reviews before we dined here. They were pretty bad. Perhaps they have improved although the service was slow. It was the only place we found there were no smokers. The food was great. The nicoise was an ample portion of fresh crisp lettuce, the peppers were a nice touch. The tuna and white anchovy were fresh and tasty. Our friends ordered a cassoulet with mushrooms & chicken with magnificent sauce and a salad with a giant bowl of Brie and French fries. Not my type of dish but she totally enjoyed. The St Germaine spritzer was the best I’ve had this trip.
