15/04/2026: Excellent restaurant, perfect welcome, smiling staff, and high-quality dishes. We shared a mixed platter of Corsican charcuterie and cheese, zucchini fritters, and for dessert, a chestnut flan and a fiadone. In short, it was fantastic; I recommend it to all vacationers.

30/10/2025: It was a lovely experience having lunch on the beach with the citadel in view. The service was warm and the food was good, with a special mention for the chestnut crème brûlée.
11/10/2025: The food was great, but the staff either couldn't or wouldn't speak English.
Another server tried to salvage the situation, so I'm giving them two stars for service.
Otherwise, the food was good. Unfortunately, the ambiance suffered because of the poor service.

13/05/2026: A magnificent establishment on the port of Calvi, with a very wide selection of cocktails and spirits.
The owner was very welcoming.
One small drawback: the waiter could have been a bit more friendly.

16/04/2026: It appears this hotel is now closed. I was notified on 13th March 2026 that the owner had died suddenly, which is very sad to hear. The website is still up, but you can't book any dates. I had a booking in April and the hotel had taken 50% deposit of the fees from me. They have said they will refund me, but it has never arrived, so on 3rd April 2026, after contacting them again, they said it would arrive "soon," but I think 'soon' appears to be a flexible concept. Time to contact my credit card company.

01/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience!
The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious: refined, delicate cuisine, expertly prepared by a truly talented chef. The roasted monkfish is divine!
Special mention goes to the staff, who are absolutely lovely, attentive, and incredibly caring.
All of this takes place in a very sophisticated and elegant setting. A place I wholeheartedly recommend!

Thank you for your time and effort in ensuring we had a wonderful meal. The seared tuna with eggplant caviar was incredible! We look forward to eating at your restaurant again!
12/04/2026: The restaurant in Calvi is very good. In April, the sunny terrace is lovely. The dishes on the menu are decent; the pasta accompanying the wild boar stew was perhaps a little too oily. But overall, it was satisfactory. The service is friendly.

26/03/2026: The best pizzeria I've tried in Calvi, with very welcoming and friendly service and staff! All the dishes are excellent and the pizzas are incredibly good. I highly recommend this restaurant for sharing a pleasant moment with family or friends.
17/02/2026: Open in February – great, as few restaurants are open off-season. We were the only ones there except for one table. There were always takeout orders. It's in an odd spot near the supermarket parking lot. The ambiance is nil. Inside, there's also very little atmosphere, with upside-down wall lights. The pizzas were fine, and the service was basic, not over the top. We spent €35.

10/05/2026: A nice restaurant right on the shores of Calvi. There's a wide selection of dishes; everyone will find something they like. Ours were very tasty.
The service could be improved, but overall it was fine.

The menu is very good.
Pleasant evenings on the terrace.

Free entry, but very expensive drinks (€8 for a Coke and €12 for a beer...)
11/09/2025: We were having a great evening with a small band playing music and a happy, festive atmosphere until the bar owner decided to verbally attack my husband for no reason. He then physically threatened him by trying to fight him outside. A very bad experience and we absolutely do not recommend this kind of place.

The food is very average, but the bill can quickly add up when you order a "Mauresque" (a type of savory tart) and they charge you an extra €1.50 for orgeat syrup... and €3 extra for a dessert that wasn't on the menu (a crème brûlée!!). It's highway robbery... congratulations!
24/09/2025: We were seated immediately without a reservation, and there was only one waitress, so the service was rather slow. There were numerous service hiccups around us, with forgotten or incorrect orders. To top it all off, after two dissatisfied customers left early, a huge argument broke out in the restaurant between the owner, the waitress, and the cooks—the atmosphere was awful! As for the food, the paella was very generous and well-garnished, but ultimately uninteresting.

09/05/2026: Stunning views of Calvi harbor, extremely well located, and a perfect stop after exploring the citadel just a stone's throw away (and climbing a few hills). Prices are a bit high, but probably due to the location. Service is about as refreshing as a beer straight from the fridge... relatively cold.

02/11/2025: To all people of foreign origin: Avoid this place at all costs!!!!
To make it clearer, I'm a local.
After I'd paid everything, the owner asked me to vote for Marine Le Pen or Bardella, even though I was with my husband, who is North African. He'd just been speaking to Bardella, so it was obvious he was North African, and visually there was no mistaking it.
It's outrageous! When you're a business owner, you keep your political opinions to yourself. At the very least, stand by them and don't take money from foreigners.
Luckily, we had a wonderful stay and were incredibly well received by the people of Balagne, because otherwise, what a deplorable impression you would have left us of this beautiful region.
02/11/2025: A disgrace. The manager is awful, speaks rudely to customers, and thinks he's above everyone else. A €15 ice cream that wasn't even worth €3—unheard of! No sense of service, no politeness whatsoever. You almost feel like you're bothering them when you pay. Avoid at all costs.
