18/08/2026: The setting was beautiful, but the waitress was rather rushed and not very friendly! As for the food, I was disappointed by the swordfish with pancetta, which looked promising but was far too dry! The same went for the one on the children's menu! And it's a shame the fries weren't homemade!

16/08/2026: Despite our late arrival (2:20 PM), a man, presumably the owner, agreed to serve us. This was despite a waiter from the same restaurant having refused us service five minutes earlier. The service was quick and the food was very good. The view from the terrace was lovely. For an affordable price, we highly recommend it.

06/08/2026: A lovely little beachfront restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. The setting is perfect for enjoying refreshing drinks, and their adorable little furry friend is so cute with the customers :)

09/09/2026: A veritable gastronomic tourist trap, delicately wrapped in a veil of elegance: neat tablecloths, pleasant decor, poor-quality cutlery, and, to complete the picture, glasses that look like they came straight from IKEA. Welcome to La Table de Sabine, on the port of Calvi, where our wallets will probably remember the experience longer than our taste buds. We each ordered an aperitif and told the owner we wanted to enjoy it at our leisure before sitting down to eat. A seemingly revolutionary concept, since a waiter quickly informed us that the €36 lobster ravioli, highly recommended to my wife by the owner, were already ready. So we asked to be served after our aperitif, as is customary. The famous "lobster" ravioli arrived. Well, "lobster" is a generous term: we were still looking for the crustacean. A homeopathic amount seemed to have been added to a mixture swimming in an Asian-inspired broth, a detail never mentioned when we ordered. Too bad, my wife hates Asian food. A surprise from the chef! For me, the fish soup was cold. The rouille was good, at least, let's give credit where credit is due. We politely expressed our disappointment to the waiter, who passed on the information. Then the dishes arrived. For me, a sole meunière that had clearly encountered much more flour than butter during its cooking. A personal interpretation of the recipe, somewhere between sole meunière and breaded fish. For my wife, a fillet of meagre "cooked on the skin," with a remarkably rubbery texture, probably steamed or boiled, accompanied once again by a mixture with Asian flavors. We again shared our comments with the poor waiter, who was obviously not to blame. The meal was accompanied by wine and, as usual, a bottle of still water. I say "normally" because the last drop never reached our table. However, it did find its way perfectly to the bill. After correcting this watery anomaly, the bill still came to €266, including €72 for drinks. The most amusing part was the end: informed of our dissatisfaction, we passed the owner three times without her ever asking us what was wrong. A subtle management strategy: tactical avoidance. She preferred to delegate the payment to a member of her team. A friendly owner at first glance, a boss who seemed "old-fashioned" or "old-fashioned"—pleasant as long as everything was going smoothly—and staff who almost seemed to sympathize. In the end, an establishment that prioritizes appearances over the food and customer service. €266 for two, to search for the lobster, discover the cold soup, a sole more floured than buttery, a rubbery fish… and an invisible bottle of water that was charged to them. It took some nerve. They did it.

16/04/2026: It appears this hotel is now closed. I was notified on 13th March 2026 that the owner had died suddenly, which is very sad to hear. The website is still up, but you can't book any dates. I had a booking in April and the hotel had taken 50% deposit of the fees from me. They have said they will refund me, but it has never arrived, so on 3rd April 2026, after contacting them again, they said it would arrive "soon," but I think 'soon' appears to be a flexible concept. Time to contact my credit card company.

06/09/2026: Outrageous! We came to the club one evening as a group of 10: 9 girls and 1 boy. They told my friends it would be difficult to get in without a boy. What kind of purely discriminatory logic is that? Then, once inside the nightclub, they asked us to leave because we hadn't bought anything and they said they had to "prioritize access to the nightclub for people who were buying drinks." But the club wasn't full and no one was queuing to get in. What a shame.

15/09/2026: The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive to customers, and gave a warm welcome! Their mussels were exquisite, the meal was generous, and the price was more than reasonable! I highly recommend it; we'll be back, thank you!

20/08/2026: I had barely entered the restaurant, thinking it was the end of service, it was 1:30 pm, one of the staff members sighed without saying hello, so unfortunately I didn't get to taste their dishes and I wouldn't be coming back anyway.

19/08/2026: A disaster for eating a simple pizza, no mozzarella, just basic Gruyère, horrible dough, avoid at all costs, plus they don't give you the bill when you pay.

21/08/2026: We visited this establishment in Calvi today and, unfortunately, the experience ended on a rather unpleasant note. I would like to emphasize that the waiter was very friendly, smiling, and pleasant, and I have absolutely no complaints about him. However, I found the manager's attitude, from what we were told, to be very unprofessional and particularly unpleasant towards customers. My 3-year-old son accidentally knocked over a post from the terrace. We were then told that the rope cost €100 and the post €250. The way this was presented to us made me feel very uncomfortable, especially considering that a young child had simply accidentally knocked over something from the terrace. As a customer, I think a little more understanding and customer service would have been appreciated. An accidental incident involving a child can obviously be reported, but the way customers are addressed matters enormously. It's a shame, because the waiter was really very nice. However, the manager's attitude definitely left us with a bad impression.

21/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! A fantastic restaurant right on the harbor. The food is excellent, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly and energetic. We had a great time. Highly recommended!
