19/08/2024: The establishment, although small, offers a room, two alcoves and a small terrace; the daily menu is elaborate and generous, at reasonable prices; the cuisine: learned and digestible, with know-how. The decor is friendly, original, the service: well-dressed, cheerful and efficient.

31/08/2024: Evening meal. Slightly long wait and some doubts about the quality of certain foods. OK but a little disappointed. Maybe a bad day, it happens to everyone.

28/08/2024: I don't understand the negative reviews, we ate there today, a porcini mushroom fondue with a plate of charcuterie, as well as a tiramisu dessert with Velay strawberries and blueberry tart, it's a real treat for the taste buds, we had a great time Reserve before coming!!!!

25/08/2024: I admit that I don't understand some of the negative reviews... We were very well received in this restaurant, the fondue was really very good and the desserts too! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

07/09/2024: We had booked for the Velay Auvergne rally, unfortunately two weeks before we were forced to cancel for personal reasons, we unfortunately could not do otherwise. We spoke to the owner on the phone to explain our problem and apologize for having to cancel our stay with them. In addition to the contemptuous tone and bad faith, he dares to tell us that the fact that the rally takes place near his hotel does not make him happy and he refuses to reimburse us. I find it really shameful, having canceled our stay 15 days before, and knowing full well that the room would have been rented immediately behind us given the number of people the rally brings to Estables. I don't usually post negative comments but I think it's deserved. To flee.

04/09/2024: I loved the village. The accomodation. The food was homely and just so nice. Loved the whole experience.

10/06/2024: I come to this restaurant at least once a month, and without reservation, but sometimes it would be better to reserve if there are several of us. The food is good and plentiful. You can eat on the terrace when the weather is nice, it's nice. The attentive and commercial staff. I recommend this establishment for a moment of rest for a afternoon break.

04/11/2024: Very good home cooking, simple but very well cooked. A bit tight in proposal perhaps. The products are local and really very good. A unique menu, which is understandable, because the owner is the cook and the only one to serve and obviously, cook. Call ahead to find out the menu and if OK, don't be disappointed. 20/08/2024: Only frozen foods!!! With a piece of raw zucchini to make you believe!!! In short, if you want a decent dish you have to go elsewhere and it’s super expensive.
