10/09/2024: Hello, I spent a romantic weekend with my darling, a perfect welcome, attentive and very friendly staff. Nice little room and very clean with a view over the whole valley. We took the cocooning formula which included SPA, HAMMAM, SAUNA and MASSAGES. On the other hand, where I didn't like it at all and because of that I won't go back there again, it's the SPA part, it was a SPA like you find in many private homes, neither more nor less (and in the more the power of the whirlpools is really very bad), the problem is that you have to queue to be able to access it and when you are inside, people sit next to you to make you understand that they would like to be able to enjoy it too (so small SPA and not private, it's not at all what we expect when we have a romantic weekend). In short, it could be noted on the brochure. Besides that, my darling and I had a massage and it was more than perfect, friendly masseuses who took great care of us. Now the restaurant part, very nice place with a beautiful view and a beautiful terrace, large space inside. As for the cooking, it was perfect and homemade, even the desserts. And there's another downside (I know I'm never happy). We enter the restaurant and the first thing we see is a stepladder against the wall and right next to it a table against the wall with a mountain of loose laundry and boxes of glass, I know it's a detail but it's a shame because in addition there was a curtain next to it which could have hidden all that. For breakfast, it's a bit everywhere like in any hotel but the owner does the service barefoot, it doesn't look very classy when you run this style of establishment. In short, lots of little things to complain about, like an electrical outlet torn out and dangling in a hallway or a candelabra also dangling in the garden against a wall. It remains a luxury castle and everything must be perfect.

19/08/2024: Très bon repas, assiette découverte bien fournit et avec tout les goûts du Mexique. Patronne qui nous a très bien conseillé même si assez sèche au premier abord. Dessert excellent que ce soit à la carte ou dans les repas de l’hôtel.

11/08/2024: Belle expérience. Ce n'est certainement pas du gastronomique mais cela permet de faire connaissance avec la cuisine mexicaine. Et je dois dire qu'elle contient plein de parfums agréables. Vraiment à découvrir.

21/10/2025: I've been here twice, once in 2023 under the prior ownership and most recently under it's new owner — Poppy. Both times have been absolutely spectacular. This last stay was remarkably peaceful, delicious, and inspiring. Staying at Auberge de Chassignolles is like rebooting your nervous system while raising the bar on what it means to eat, drink, and live well. Already thinking about coming back a 3rd time.

20/12/2025: A must-visit spot in Le Puy for a drink. Depending on the server, the service can sometimes be a bit cold 🤷🏼‍♂️ They listened to our requests and there's always a great atmosphere. I recommend it.

25/08/2024: L'accueil est chalereux, avec le beau temps nous sommes installés sur la terrasse et c'est agréable. Le menu est bien; le foie gras est savoureux, le plat de viande accompagné de ses légumes nous régale, joli plateau de fromage avec le panier de noix et le fromage de chèvre mariné dans l'huile d'olive. Le dessert est bon même si personnellement j'apprécie peu les assiettes de mignardises, des fruits sont également servis. Le café est complèté par des petites gourmandises. Nous avons passé un agréable moment, rien à redire, c'était comme d'habitude très bien.

13/08/2024: Un endroit délicieux et calme que je recommande à tous mes amis ! Nous avons passé 2 nuits et pris 2 repas. Le personnel est vraiment très agréable, et ce n 'est pas une gentillesse "commerciale". La chambre est spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bains (baignoire), on pourrait y ajouter un tabouret... WC séparés. Petite terrasse sur le beau parc. Climatisation efficace par ces temps de chaleur, seul petit bémol, la pompe de relevage bipait toutes les 10 secondes ... mon mari a mal dormi, alors que j'avais mis des boules quies. Je n'ai pas mis 5* à cause de ça. Il y a beaucoup à visiter dans les alentours.

28/10/2024: Arrivés à 13:30. La dame part vérifier s’il reste à manger en cuisine. Elle nous revient en nous disant qu’il reste à manger mais que ce ne sera pas ce qu’il y’a sur le menu. Je demande donc que reste t’il ? Réponse: « je sais pas y’a encore plein de monde avant vous » ce qui veut dire, vous attendrez que tout le monde est fini de manger pour manger leur reste. Chaleureux.

18/10/2024: Ce n'est pas notre premier arrêt et c'est toujours aussi bien ! Une auberge comme on aime !!! Prix doux et nourriture saine ... le tout avec le sourire !

01/01/2026: We had a wonderful time at your inn. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with taste and attention to detail. The heating worked well, and it was lovely to be able to warm up. The meals and breakfasts were satisfactory. Special mention goes to our host, who takes excellent care of his guests. Thank you. It was a truly refreshing stay.

24/09/2025: Good value for money. Quiet Spacious room. Good breakfast.
