01/07/2026: Hello, The manager, in addition to being very accommodating, gives us a very warm welcome, and her homemade dishes are excellent for a reasonable price. This is a great restaurant where you appreciate the food as much as the smiles. You won't be disappointed! 👍👏 To the paranoid pilgrims out there 🤭: I myself am a pilgrim, and have been for many years. I'm old, I look like a vagabond, and I've never felt mocked or seen anyone with a better plate than mine. 16/06/2026: Absolutely avoid 😱, no respect for the kitchen… everything was closed by default so we went anyway, disaster, the daily menu was tasteless and tasteless!

28/07/2026: A place discovered by chance during a walk, very warm welcome, well-shaded terrace, fine cuisine worthy of a great restaurant - amazing price.

05/06/2026: Excellent meal with a €16.50 set menu (starter of the day, main course of the day, cheese, dessert, and a quarter-liter of wine). Today's menu included: gizzard salad, pork cheek with rice and fries, cheese, and tiramisu. There were three of us, and we were served even at a rather late hour (1:30 pm – in many places, we wouldn't have been asked to leave). We ordered three set menus, each with generous portions, plus a Coke and three coffees, for a total of €52. Unbeatable!

08/09/2026: Excellent place, lovely location by the river. The welcome is warm, and the food is delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. I highly recommend it.

06/09/2026: Everything was perfect, just one small point from me: a little more truffade would have been welcome, the quantity was a bit skimpy. I don't think two or three potato slices with a little cheese are going to make the whole container empty… and the customer will be all the more delighted. But otherwise, the setting (terrace), the welcome, the service, and the food were all perfect.

30/08/2026: Reception 0..."we are full" even though almost all the tables are empty...so we leave without even a goodbye...and without eating!

21/08/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with beautiful decor and excellent cuisine (single menu at €30) of high quality and flavor. A delightful surprise.

22/08/2026: A very poor culinary experience! Upon arrival, we were told there was no set menu on Thursday evenings. Therefore, the choice was very limited... The portions were generous, but nothing was right! The food was piled on top of each other (chicken burger + salad + soggy, oily fries), the bun was over-toasted, and there were industrial nuggets instead of chicken. The flank steak was served with a salad and grated cheese. The meat was good, but it was swimming in a sauce that was more water than actual meat juice. The grated cheese was undercooked and not crispy at all. Again, everything was swimming in meat juice/water, salad dressing, and the undercooked egg from the grated cheese. Only the homemade desserts were good. The welcome and service were very good. I apologize for this low rating, but many aspects of some dishes need improvement. The price was far too high considering the quality of the food served.

23/08/2026: HORRIBLE The worst service I've seen in the area. A real disappointment. If there are many of you, they won't make any effort to serve you. They made us wait for an hour, and when we finally arrived, they told us they weren't serving us, sorry, even when there were empty tables. Apparently, 8 people is too much work.

06/06/2026: Fantastic birthday party for our little one! The team was welcoming and very friendly. Perfect for a birthday with pre-teens. I highly recommend it.

06/04/2026: The welcome was, how shall I say, unlike anything I've ever experienced at this inn. The owner and his wife seem tired and worn down by pilgrims who are too... well, pilgrims whose owners give bad advice, claiming he enjoys instilling fear in them. Perhaps after 28 years of loyal service, it's time to move on and avoid appearing... incompetent to the clientele other than the locals who enjoy having drinks at lunchtime and in the evening with the owners. In short, two people probably unhappy because of their clientele... but who persevere and do their best to satisfy them.

27/08/2026: A small, old-fashioned restaurant with a unique, authentic feel. Personally, I love these little places: starter, main course, local cheese, and dessert for €15—very reasonable! Simple but delicious food, in my opinion! Flavors might criticize the interior and cleanliness; honestly, it's a bit lacking. The welcome is supposedly cold, but I didn't find it that way at all! If you enjoy quirky little village restaurants, you can definitely stop by 😜 Stop with the prejudices, form your own opinion!

22/08/2026: Going in, you're scared; leaving, you feel like you've won a challenge on Survivor! It's far from fine dining, but that's not what you come here for... it's local fare, so shy people, move along lol

30/08/2026: We came to this bar and ordered two sodas. We simply asked for two glasses so we could drink them properly, but our request was refused. We find this very disappointing and unacceptable, especially since we consumed the drinks on the premises. A minimum of service and hospitality would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

11/08/2026: Excellent service, a menu with local flavors featuring good, simple and incredibly effective dishes! For a family of 5, we managed to keep our bill under €100 (food + drinks).

24/06/2026: Very simple but a little gem with a room overlooking the Allier River. Good breakfast. The hotel also has a restaurant with a sheltered outdoor terrace in summer.

22/06/2026: We had a family meal on April 7, 2026, and we were really disappointed; the quantity was minimal.
