22/02/2026: I stopped by with friends while traveling in Europe. All five of us enjoyed the steak, fries, and dessert. It's perfect for Korean palates. ^^ The owner is very friendly and speaks English. There's no English menu.

24/02/2026: The view is splendid when the clouds pass by, the food is very good with Savoyard specialties! The service and the setting are impeccable. I recommend going at least once if you're in the area!!! The value for money is also excellent.
14/02/2026: Reservation for 6 people. First time yesterday for everyone, just wow! Amazing food, everything was perfect, well done! We'll definitely be back, don't change a thing!

Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: We came to Thonon-les-Bains for a 3-week spa treatment. We frequently had lunch in the Belle Époque and regularly stopped off at the end of the day. We enjoyed every moment at this establishment: the food, the welcome, the location, and the various thoughtful touches. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Don't hesitate to stop by.
11/09/2025: Excellent brasserie. I go there mainly for breakfast. The waiters and waitresses are always energetic and smiling! I recommend it!

23/02/2026: Nice bar/restaurant (daily lunch menu, crêpe snacks, sandwiches). We didn't try the food, but the other customers seemed satisfied.
We had drinks; the service was impeccable and quick. The prices were more than reasonable. Plus, there's a lovely terrace in the pedestrian zone.

10/02/2026: When I asked what the fish of the day was, the answer was obviously salmon. So I ordered the chicken supreme, which arrived lukewarm (was it poorly defrosted?). Add to that the service, which was about as welcoming as a prison gate; it was like the waitresses were doing community service.
In short, not a great replacement for my favorite Guinguette du Port.
25/01/2026: The dessert was very good, but as for friendliness, we left something to be desired. It's very unpleasant to feel like we're bothering the waitress and the manager simply by being there.

Evening entertainment
11/08/2024: Arrived on the 6th August with our caravan. The pitch is tight and right opposite the noisey park with inflatables so screaming kids in the evening makes it hard to relax. The electric hook up doesn’t have water also as other campsite do in France. There needs to be a swimming pool
On this site as it is very hot in the summer and the lake isn’t comfortable to sit on a slop. Can I suggest you make the beach area longer! So it’s not comfortable to sit on. The staff in reception are nice and the animation. The staff in the shop are super slow. don’t just go and buy one thing at this shop as it will take you 10 minutes to pay . You are best off getting supplies from Lidl up the road. Will not stay here again it’s too busy for me and also actually quite expensive for 70 euro a night.
