06/05/2026: Great local food, two choices for the plat de jour, it is slow cooked beef in puff pastry and chicken with mushrooms today- equally great meals. Good thoughtfully crafted, run uniquely by just two chefs. Be patient… slow food but well worth the wait.

The meal was generally good. The vol-au-vent was good. I received a poor-quality piece of beef, very gelatinous, but the creamy polenta was excellent.
The staff was friendly, and the service was quick.
The dining room was noisy.

Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: We came to Thonon-les-Bains for a 3-week spa treatment. We frequently had lunch in the Belle Époque and regularly stopped off at the end of the day. We enjoyed every moment at this establishment: the food, the welcome, the location, and the various thoughtful touches. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Don't hesitate to stop by.
11/09/2025: Excellent brasserie. I go there mainly for breakfast. The waiters and waitresses are always energetic and smiling! I recommend it!

23/02/2026: Nice bar/restaurant (daily lunch menu, crêpe snacks, sandwiches). We didn't try the food, but the other customers seemed satisfied.
We had drinks; the service was impeccable and quick. The prices were more than reasonable. Plus, there's a lovely terrace in the pedestrian zone.

30/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! We were visiting Thonon as a family on Saturday, May 26th. It was lunchtime, and we hadn't made a reservation. We walked in and were warmly welcomed. When we mentioned there were nine of us, the manager said, "Give me five minutes," and he found us a table. We are very grateful.
We were served without any wait.
The dishes were delicious and generous.
I highly recommend it.

26/04/2026: This review is based solely on the unsatisfactory service:
1. I asked if I could sit on the terrace. When I explained that I also wanted to eat, I was told, "We don't serve food on the terrace" (just as a charcuterie board was being brought to a table).
2. Fine. I went to the restaurant entrance, a little frustrated that I couldn't get a table overlooking the harbor, given the prices of the dishes (yes, I want quality and a pleasant setting). It wasn't crowded that day...and I was ignored.
I wish this restaurant well, but I won't be returning.
