17/03/2024: Probably the best value for money in Vars. Simple but very clean and comfortable hotel with excellent and very friendly service. Bar and restaurant on site and breakfast well served. All just a few steps from the ski lifts.

Special mention for the saffron monkfish😋 From the welcome, to the service through to the great service of the establishment, there is only positive. Thank you for a good Sunday. 03/12/2023: An excellent address that we discovered. It’s a small, intimate inn that doesn’t offer a menu (the menu is unique). The dish changes over the weeks, which is a guarantee of quality. When we came, we had a mushroom cake, a guinea fowl and seasonal vegetables, a faitselle with different accompaniments to enhance it and one of several desserts (we opted for a chocolate mousse and a floating island). The portions are really very generous and the dishes were all delicious. Allow €35 per person for the menu (excluding drinks and coffee) and allow between 2 and 3 hours for the meal. The person who welcomed us was very friendly and very kind. Everything is homemade, local and fresh, in short we will come back for sure! Remember to book anyway and parking spaces have been provided. Small detail, the hostel does not accept bank cards.

02/04/2024: We had lunch there one afternoon with our two children. Despite the crowds, we were very well received: the waitresses were very smiling and pleasant, small gifts were given to the children. We also ate very well: the dishes were very generous and of good quality! Thank you so much !

29/03/2024: Very nice. Beautiful industrial style decor, bricks and metal beams, wrought iron + art nouveau lamps for a more romantic atmosphere. Very decent, hearty meal. Good draft red beer Goudale. Cool atmosphere, sometimes a little waiting but in a good mood!

25/03/2024: Excellent restaurant, the dishes are of quality and more than sufficient quantity A restaurant not to be missed that I highly recommend for good eaters. Very good point on the anti-waste, you leave with the part that you did not eat

21/03/2024: Excellent restaurant near the slopes. The setting is pleasant and the service is careful and fast. The menu is extensive, there is something for all tastes and for an average price of €17 per dish. The plates are plentiful, especially the pizzas and you can leave with your doggy bag. We even had the right to taste the boss’s rum, it was excellent! Thank you for the welcome, we will come back.

31/03/2024: We had dinner as a couple last night and had a great time. The cuisine is refined and the service equally so. The Discovery Menu is very interesting from starter to dessert and the wines on the menu perfectly accompanied our meal. The only downside would be the cheese plate which only included 4 very, very small slices of cheese among the many offered on the cart. We would have liked to taste more because they are so tempting. Otherwise the meal was fabulous. We will gladly come back.

27/03/2024: Very good bakery. I have good memories of each of my visits. The bread is very good and keeps for a long time (especially the sourdough one) the pastries are delicious and refined! Pierre-francois, Giada and Océane always welcome us with a smile. Beautiful family atmosphere!

28/01/2024: Become demanding by our baker, we found an equivalent in the south with a light, crispy baguette. And don’t hesitate on the little brioches either! A sin of gluttony!
