The menu might seem a bit pricey, but you'll quickly realize you get your money's worth: delicious, generous cuisine enhanced by a unique concept: cooking with Uncle Jack Daniels! The dining room is very small, allowing for attentive service, so reservations are highly recommended. But it's definitely a culinary experience worth the trip! 03/08/2026: Pastis is one of those restaurants where you arrive with high expectations, and you quickly understand why. The service is perfectly honed, the cuisine is technically accomplished, elegant, and showcases the ingredients without being flashy. We opted for the €83 tasting menu. The value for money seemed reasonable, and the dessert was, in my opinion, the highlight of the meal. However, I missed that special dish that immediately makes you want to return. Special mention goes to the wine cellar, which is particularly extensive, although a few more recommendations to complement the wine selection would have been appreciated. I also felt that the bread sometimes took up a bit too much space as the meal progressed. In the end, an elegant, expertly prepared experience, brimming with skill. It simply lacked that little something extra that transforms a very good meal into a truly memorable experience.

11/07/2026: The best Brunch around, I recommend the GOAT. The coffee is very good and they have all type of vegetable milk options. Best chai latte around too. I have worked, eaten and drank at any time on any day and I really think Groove is one of my favorites spots on Port Marianne. Heads up to Louise , Nicholas and the crew 🙌

05/08/2026: A really excellent but not pretentious restaurant. The wait staff were extremely friendly and knowledgable about all of the food and wine on the menu. Food came quickly and was delicious (as well as filling, which is unusual for high-end dining). If you are going for two courses, we’d recommend the main and dessert, but getting all three for €4 extra is a no brainer. We would definitely revisit if ever in Montpellier again!

05/08/2026: A wonderful find in old Montpellier. The cuisine is very sophisticated, especially considering the chef works alone in the kitchen. A real delight at an affordable price in a charming street. Highly recommended!

04/08/2026: The meal was excellent, no complaints there, I was very surprised by the quality of the ingredients. However, the service wasn't great, as rodents invaded the terrace at the end of the meal. The waiter's reaction was completely inadequate; his bewildered, mocking expression was far from professional!

12/08/2026: Excellent meal, an original salad with very fresh ingredients, superb homemade lemonade, and a truly divine dessert (red berry and black sesame tiramisu). The service was quick and very friendly, on a quiet, shaded street. You won't regret it!

11/08/2026: The salmon tartine was no longer on the menu, as it had been so popular. I can therefore be certain of the freshness of the ingredients and that they are not frozen. Inside, the dining area is small and nicely decorated. I don't like the outside because of the proximity of a large wall. The owners are friendly and welcoming. I recommend their tartines. Mine cost €13 and was delicious, in addition to being quite original. I was in a hurry, and it was served quickly. I also had a bulgur salad on my plate, if I'm not mistaken. This place, near Place de la Comédie, is quiet. I finally came back; I loved my two French toasts, one savory and the other sweet.

16/06/2026: Lovely restaurant tucked away in the corner behind St.Anns Church. Open only for 2.5h for lunch, but amazing food. Just short menu of a delicious french meals. Very reasonable priced. Lovely atmosphere and friendly service, despite the language barrier.
