10/05/2026: An absolutely incredible restaurant. We were welcomed like old friends. The food was generous and delicious. The decor featured exposed brick. The owner was so charming and kind.

22/04/2026: If you have the chance to dine at Pat Daniels, you'll fall in love with the restaurant, more specifically with the lovingly prepared food and the Jack Daniel's. The unique feature of this place is the Jack Daniel's influence, from cocktails and drinks to everything from appetizers to desserts... There were six of us, and the set menu was €37, or you can order à la carte. For our starter, we had the foie gras terrine, followed by the lamb shank, and for dessert, the chocolate ganache. The dishes were smooth and delicious. The gingerbread that accompanied the foie gras was truly divine; seriously, I'm not usually a big fan of gingerbread, but I could have easily eaten more slices. The main course was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was so good you'd want to put the plate down. The chocolate raspberry ganache for dessert was incredibly smooth and just the right amount of sweet. The owner is incredibly attentive to his customers; his presentation is captivating, and we wanted more. You'll feel right at home there, and time will fly by. I highly recommend this restaurant; we drove an hour just to eat there. However, be aware that it's only open Monday through Friday, and only in the evenings. It's best to make a reservation if you want an exceptional culinary experience. Thanks to Pat for this moment that suspended time and delighted our taste buds.

02/06/2026: No complaints about the food or service, but we had a reservation for Sunday the 31st, and with the marathon on, we were told we no longer had the terrace. It was a bit of a letdown; we ended up inside, right at the entrance, with a horrible constant flow of people crammed into the doorway next to us, waiting for a seat. Eventually, people who hadn't made reservations ended up eating on the terrace. In short, it ruined our meal.

04/06/2026: As regulars at Montpellier's fine restaurants, we were a little disappointed: the decor and ambiance were very minimalist, though the tableware was lovely. The dishes were good, the quality and freshness of the ingredients undeniable, but there were no real culinary discoveries, and the portions were minimal. The dessert was uninteresting. The wines and champagnes, however, were very good. The waiters and waitresses were very pleasant and smiling. So, a mixed review, as we didn't experience the "wow" factor of a first tasting. Fortunately, the value for money was very good.

29/01/2026: Lunch yesterday for my father-in-law's 80th birthday. There were six of us, and we all unanimously loved it, from the appetizers to the desserts. The food was incredible! The owner offered a chocolate fondant with a candle and background music—a lovely gesture for the occasion. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. 04/05/2026: We had an amazing lunch here on a rainy Monday - so sat inside. The food, wine and friendly service were all 10/10. We could have happily ordered most of the menu but settled for the Special Burger and Pork Belly - which were both fantastic and full of flavour. I would highly recommend this fantastic French bistro restaurant. Served by lovely people too - thank you!

08/05/2026: It's become a bit of a regular spot for us over the years: we're never disappointed by Les Vignes. Beautiful setting, lovely patio in good weather, a super welcome, and of course, consistently inventive cuisine featuring mostly seasonal and local produce. All this at an unbeatable price for the lunch menu.
