27/08/2024: I discovered this restaurant thanks to an advertisement and I don't regret coming. The food is very good, the burgers are delicious. The service is impeccable and the staff very pleasant. I will come back with pleasure! This place in the heart of Montpellier is very pleasant. The all-chocolate cookie is delicious.

27/08/2024: Nous nous y sommes rendus en famille (5 personnes en tout), car nous avions au préalable recherché un endroit à Montpellier pour manger quelque chose de bon et de rapide et que nous étions tombés sur ce petit restaurant: Chez Alex. Nous nous attendions à quelque chose en arrivant et je peux vous dire que nous n'avons pas été déçus! Le service est rapide et la nourriture excellente! On sent le fait maison ^^ Nous avions commandé une salade Chèvre Miel, deux Burgers au Fromage, un Tacos Raclette et un Tacos Crousti. Nous avons été servis en 10min et tout le monde a adoré son plat! Nous en sommes resortis plus que rassasiés. Une adresse à ne pas manquer si l'on est de passage à Montpellier ;)

21/09/2024: Perfect ! Always impeccable and warm service. A large selection of savory and sweet crepes. A super nice setting. What more could you ask for? 😊 A word of advice, remember to book or you risk missing a must-have in Montpellier restaurants.

21/09/2024: First experience in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and it was exceptional. Excellent service, excellent appetizers, as well as the cuisine, very varied and rather sophisticated, based on simple, seasonal products. Wines perfectly matched with the dishes, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very soothing. We will return.

25/09/2024: Alas, we had to come across an “off” day. The requested dish based on raw tuna (which I had already had at the beginning of summer and which I found delicious) was not good. The tuna was very thick, impossible to cut, the eggplant tasteless... really a shame it was so good the first time! and the person who accompanied me had the dish of the day, a dish with a small fillet of salmon and a few vegetables... I don't know what happened that day... I didn't want to leave any 'opinion so as not to discourage, but since you insist... too bad

17/09/2024: We probably came at the wrong time (sick waiter or something else) but the owner was unpleasantly noisy (impossible to speak without his shouts throughout the restaurant interrupting the conversation every thirty seconds...). If I come to the restaurant to chat with someone, it's very annoying to find myself in the middle of a performance hall... The boss took care of the cash orders, the bar, the service... so everything was very slow. So we left without eating.

10/09/2024: Après 2 excellents repas tests au Grand Arbre, nous avons décidé d'y organiser notre repas de mariage (25 personnes). Nous avons été extrêmement bien accompagnés par Mme Gounel et ses équipes (espaces mis à disposition, élaboration du menu, boissons, tarifs, éléments que nous pouvions ramener...). Tout correspondait à nos attentes ! Le jour J, nous avons pris un copieux apéritif sur une des terrasses extérieures (à l'écart des autres clients du restaurant). Dès le départ, nos invités se sont régalés avec les différentes bouchées proposées (accras, poulpe, saumon, foie gras, magret, pois chiches, courgettes...). Nous avons ensuite été installés dans la magnifique salle de restaurant (dans laquelle nous avions pu préalablement installer des compositions florales sur les tables, marques places, dragées...). Menu au choix du chef + vin: entrée (foie gras), poisson (loup), viande (veau), pièce montée revisitée. Aucune fausse note: tout était excellent ! Le service était impeccable (présent quand il le fallait et efficace). Encore merci pour votre accueil et à bientôt : nous reviendrons, c'est certain !

20/09/2024: We enjoyed a very tasty 3 course lunch on a lovely August afternoon in the shady courtyard. The menu du jour was of excellent value (25€) with regional wines by the glass (6€) . We had assorted rillettes, diced salads, baked fish ( red mullet) with barley risotto, squash flan and steak Bernaise with potatoes, followed by peach cream tarts for dessert. Small restaurant so reservations are necessary, especially if you’d like to dine outside. Authentic and charming.

19/09/2024: Excellent restaurant bistronomique avec de très bons produits. Le service est impeccable. Très bonne présentation des plats. Cadre superbe et surtout la cour de l’hôtel. Nous reviendrons.
