14/08/2026: Finally, food like home cooking, everything homemade. We each had two bowls of delicious soup, a salad, rice with braised beef, plum cake, fresh cheese with forest fruits, two beers, wine and coffees. It came to €21 per person. We left feeling very full. The owners were super friendly and kind. Thank you very much for the service.

06/08/2026: A true gem! We stumbled upon it while wandering. The people were so happy and welcoming, they made our day! In addition, they serve great food (French cuisine, a single set menu that changes daily, very reasonably priced) and a wonderful, relaxed, and joyful atmosphere. To the whole team: a huge thank you for this delicious meal and warm welcome. We won't soon forget it. Luckily, we have a lovely apron to remind us. We hope to see you again someday!

20/08/2026: A FLAWLESS EXPERIENCE! Exceptional cuisine, truly exceptional flavors. We opted for the "schoolteacher" menu, which is served in five courses. We didn't leave the table feeling bloated; they took our food intolerances into account, and the vegetable starter was absolutely fantastic. The main courses were a resounding success, as were the cheeses, and the desserts were a hit with everyone. The service was impeccable, with attentive waiters, warm smiles, and clear, simple explanations for both children and adults about what we were eating. We will be back.

The Maroilles cheese tart is to die for! 😍😍 The daily special (ribs, fries, and salad) is a very generous portion for €15.50, I think. Absolutely delicious!! The owners are friendly and communicative, and they go the extra mile! With dishes from the North, Normandy, and Périgord regions, there's something for everyone! I highly recommend this establishment, which is open year-round. I fueled up before an 80km kayak trip, and I'm so glad I came to eat here! Simple, efficient, and quick! You can tell the team is well-trained and that everyone has their role in this establishment.

07/08/2026: Fantastic, both the accommodation and the restaurant. My son and I stayed for two days and opted for full board in a dormitory room. It was spotless and very comfortable (air conditioning, a large kitchen, a fridge, a great coffee maker, etc.). We also had the opportunity to try the set menu, which featured refined and excellent cuisine at a really great price! So I highly recommend taking the time to savor your meal on the terrace in the shade of the plane trees, enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and the friendly service from the staff in the kitchen.
