17/06/2026: I find some of the comments appalling. For €17, some people think they're getting lunch or dinner at a four-star restaurant... I just want to say bravo to this couple. I've known this place for many years and I always return with pleasure. This Tuesday, June 16, 2026, the pleasure was renewed. And I still eat just as well, in a pleasant atmosphere with attentive service. What more could you ask for?

08/06/2026: Simple but very good. We received a very warm welcome.

06/06/2026: Lots of French cuisine to choose from. Still more expensive on weekends than other all-you-can-eat buffets because they're homemade, which is a change and can introduce new flavors.

13/07/2026: A very friendly crêperie, a warm and unpretentious welcome, crispy galettes that melt in your mouth and are very generously filled. I highly recommend it if you're ever in Marmande. ❤️❤️

30/06/2026: It was our first time eating here, and we opted for the lunchtime set menu. The crêpe was absolutely delicious. The waiter was polite and professional. The terrace is charming and relaxing, while the interior is very welcoming and beautifully decorated. It's a historic establishment; if you're passing through Marmande, it's definitely worth stopping by for a meal.

07/05/2026: A gastronomic gem with unbeatable value for money! I've rarely enjoyed a lunch menu of this quality at such a reasonable price. Starter, main course, and dessert for only €20! L'Ecuelle d'Or is definitely worth a visit to Clairac, this charming little town, admittedly a bit isolated, but very pleasant. With this level of culinary mastery, you absolutely must (re)discover this establishment where gastronomy truly comes to life. To top it all off, the welcome is extremely pleasant, both warm and familial. A must-visit in the Lot-et-Garonne (department 47)!

30/06/2026: It's a shame the service was so slow between courses... there were only 4 tables occupied, but we waited almost 15 minutes for the dessert menu... we'd had this problem before, we attributed it to being busy, but tonight there were very few people... it spoiled the experience because the meat was excellent...

25/07/2026: We had two wonderful weeks at Boulede with our 3 children (aged 6, 8, and 10)! The grounds are spacious, offer plenty of privacy, and have many facilities (2 swimming pools, trampoline, pétanque, table tennis, etc.). Owners Karen and Rolf are incredibly hospitable and are happy to help suggest suitable excursions in the area. Various activities are also organized at Boulede itself—entirely without obligation—such as painting courses for the whole family, massages, table d’hotes (a fantastic plant-based dinner prepared by daughter Danne!!), babysitting options, and yoga classes. The cottage was pleasant, well-maintained, and fully equipped (we stayed in La Bouchonniere). We would love to come back sometime!

02/07/2026: We had a fantastic holiday at Boulède! We stayed in Le Tonnelier, a beautiful and fully furnished holiday home where absolutely everything has been thought of. Despite the high temperatures outside, it remained wonderfully cool inside. And for extra cooling off, there was, of course, the lovely swimming pool. Our daughter was never bored for a single moment. She could run around freely, swim endlessly, and have a great time playing on and by the trampoline. The grounds are ideal for families and exude peace and space. Karen and Rolf are incredibly hospitable, easily reachable, and enthusiastically provide great tips for the surrounding area. You feel welcome immediately. In short: a place where you truly lack nothing and can fully relax. Exactly how a holiday should be. We will definitely be back here again!

27/06/2026: A magnificent estate, thoughtfully designed and laid out. Comfortable, clean, and practical accommodations. Incredibly kind and efficient owners. What more could you ask for? Rebecca and Cyril made us feel right at home in this superb estate. Completely renovated by Cyril, the grandeur and beauty of the place won us over. And above all: it was incredibly well thought out! Whether for guests or wedding vendors: numerous accommodations, plenty of different settings (for your various events and stunning photos), lots of rooms of all sizes (perfect for backup plans in case of rain), and well-designed rooms for the various functions… Everything you need to imagine the perfect wedding! The design blends seamlessly with the historical aspect of the château, a truly rare feat… And most importantly: the human touch is evident. Kind, available, discreet, but above all, very efficient, Cyril and Rebecca allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding, as we had complete confidence in them. Just meeting them was a pleasure. A huge thank you to them.
