26/09/2024: This is an address not to be missed! A menu just like at home that changes every day. Today beef tongue with rice...preceded by a homemade soup and a plate of green beans/tomatoes (yum vinaigrette sauce!). Then for dessert, 4 possibilities. Salted butter caramel cream: killer. Adorable staff, charming boss...and all this for €16.50, including a quarter of wine per person! Go ahead and enjoy it!

04/01/2025: Very friendly setting (small fireplace to warm up), picturesque atmosphere perfectly suited to the village. We were welcomed by 10 people without any worries, very pleasant staff. We all ate very well from children to adults, duck legs, homemade cassoulet, plate of sausages, veal and salad dish we all found what we were looking for.

03/09/2024: Basically, coming for 2 days, we were so well received that we extended our stay by an additional day..... Remarkable place, 2 star hotel but which by these services could easily aim for the 3rd... ... Over these 3 days we also ate a variety of platters and gourmet dishes (a pure culinary experience)......... A attentive staff, a boss who reflects the image of his establishment...... ... We are thinking of coming back next year with family..... Recommended for travelers looking for local, regional products and authenticity.......

13/11/2024: 10 of us came for November 11th. The establishment was full…. On the three terraces!!!!! We waited about ten minutes and a nice young dark-haired woman seated us on the terrace. On the one hand the service is remarkable, everything is magnificently well organized. On the other hand the dishes are good. As for us, we ate typical dishes based on foie gras but also pancakes and pizzas! Finally a perfect restaurant in every way! THANKS !

21/08/2024: Glaces qui valent le détour, le prix vaut la coupe et les saveurs. Des glaces généreuses et un petit coin sympathique pour les déguster !

03/08/2024: Ces glaces sont incroyable,du fait maison, de très bon goût, très surpris par la glace au lait de chèvre, le personnel est extrêmement sympa. Ça vaut le détour !

15/09/2024: Avec 29 camarades randonneuses et randonneurs à la fin de notre magnifique randonnée sur les hauteurs de Cabrerets nous nous sommes rendus dans cet établissement pour prendre une collation bien méritée aux alentours de 15h30. 2 clients étaient présents dans le restaurant des Grottes donc l'établissement était quasiment vide. Nous nous sommes installés sur la terrasse abritée avec vue sur le Lot car il pleuvait. Le patron a pris nos commandes (soft, glaces, bières et autres) table de 4 par table de 4 et nous a servi au fur et à mesure, tout se passait pour le mieux. Une randonneuse qui faisait partie de notre groupe de 30 personnes n'a pas souhaité prendre une consommation alors que les autres à sa table ont commandé quelque chose, le patron lui a demandé de sortir car elle ne consommait pas !!! Sidération, elle faisait partie de notre groupe... Si nous avions su nous aurions passé notre chemin : Accueil et respect de la personne ne semblent pas être les maîtres-mots de cet établisement. Dommage c'était un beau site qui affiche d'ailleur "Accueil Pélerins" ??? Nous avons pris nos consommations très déçus de la situation, nous avons payé et sommes partis ...

12/09/2024: Accueil du patron laborieux vraiment pas commerçant ce monsieur Le déjeuner sur la terrasse très agréable. Côté cuisine les mets sont fait maison et rien à redire (delicieux foie gras) Et pour le service bravo au jeune serveur disponible souriant

05/06/2024: Très Déçus par rapport à notre dernière visite, il y a quelques années, et aux critiques : - terrine de lotte et son aïoli plutôt bonne mais avec du céleri rémoulade tellement fort que cela gâche toute l’assiette - magret aux pêches demandé rosé et arrivé bien trop cuit - dos de cabillaud avec sauce safranée (très grasse style aïoli) servi à peine tiède dans un bouillon insipide avec des courgettes crues (et pourtant j’adore les légumes croquants) et des petits pois décongelés à l’anglaise - dessert crème renversée sur ananas poêlé, on cherche encore la poêle… On n’y retournera pas

31/05/2024: We came to eat at 12 p.m. at 5 for a birthday, we found the food excellent, also good value for money. The waitresses are very kind and always with a smile, it's a pleasure! We will come back to it :)

22/10/2024: I've done quite a bit of traveling in France, and this has, by far, been one of my fave places to stay. It's lovely, the people who run it are so kind and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, the grounds are beautiful . The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend a stay here. We even decided to stay over an extra night! Who doesn't love a castle stay?!

07/10/2024: Very nice location with a beautiful view from our room. Super friendly people, clean spacious rooms, well-maintained swimming pool and excellent breakfast with local products. We had a wonderful stay! The only downside: the bathroom was a bit dated and not very convenient for showering if you are 1.90m tall.

25/09/2024: I'm calling because I'm looking for a job, I'm getting hit in the face by a lady who thinks she's the 7th wonder of the world🤣🤣🤣🤣 who has nothing to do in this establishment who has me speaking badly which is intolerable when you are in the restaurant business, you have to come in the morning something but it doesn't matter in the morning or in the afternoon the job search and a full-time job she had better keep her mouth shut don't you don't worry I will refer to your management it's intolerable plus I live 50 kilometers away the comments posted previously do not reflect the image of this establishment please never apply here don't go there anymore there are other restaurants much nicer than the one who will welcome you better run away
