02/10/2024: I can only corroborate the bad reviews about this establishment.
The place is certainly magnificent but the rooms are not maintained, cleaning is more than approximate (hair, mold in the bathtub, dirty toothglass, cobwebs in the room...)
The indoor swimming pool does not need to be cleaned very often either, judging from the water line.
In short, despite the friendly welcome, there isn't much positive... it's a shame

01/09/2024: Came on September 1, 2024. Restaurant closed, season over...Just indicating it on Google would be great, thank you.
31/08/2024: A disaster!!! We waited 1h30 to get a table for 7 people with 2 babies, I should add! Table that we never had because the staff and the manager are stuck on an absurd rule that after 12:15 p.m. you have to stand behind the menu in full sun 🥵in order to hope to have a table.
But at the same time people allow themselves to sit 2 on tables of 5 to drink coffee and the waitress is ok! When she knows and sees that customers have been waiting for 1h30.
Priorities need to be reviewed!!! Friendliness is clearly not there anymore.
Very disappointed because we had our family habits every year in this restaurant but this was the last time.
On the other hand, the bar next door is great because yes we had to quench our thirst while waiting!

16/08/2024: On vacation near Mende, we looked for a restaurant to eat there. As soon as you arrive at the entrance to the terrace, people stare at you from head to toe.
When you come in to ask if there's room, well... no one cares about you. While the gentleman who was in charge that afternoon also stared at us. He didn't say hello to us and pushed my partner.
The place was dirty, untidy. And the people were all crowded together. After waiting 20 minutes, we decided to leave since no one knew how to say hello.

A place that I do not recommend!
10/08/2024: A brasserie to avoid for the service..especially at the time of tourism a waitress who tells us to go wherever we want and wait 30 minutes to take our order but when we see her she thinks she is a princess and says hello to her friends .. touches his hair etc.. my new passing customers we don't take care of them anymore but the regulars we serve them .. after 30 minutes it was a gentleman who took care of us .. good meal without dessert ..

Very poor value for money, the Half-board formula is obligatory, vigilance, no drinks included in the formula (and well billed 😏) nor the coffee... low quality meals (lasagna, a great specialty to believe, dish present in many comments). PDJ without interest, Which means even in a dormitory you end up paying a lot for the night in an outdated atmosphere, to turn out to be the most expensive night in a dormitory of my journey (STEVENSON -RÉGORDANE)

02/09/2024: I slept two nights at this hotel
The couple is overwhelmed by this hotel which is dressed up! When I arrived I looked for my room for at least ten minutes the door was behind a cupboard door in a technical cupboard style
My first night was chaotic Bees that I had to kill in the Night the second night spiders (a real zoo)
no television
when you turn off the light the sockets are no longer powered, no way to charge the phone or sleep with the light on
When I arrived on the 2nd day a huge leak in the bathroom full of water but unfortunately no one at reception or on the phone
This leak was known because it came from the toilet tank which had to be turned off after flushing .............
144€ for 2 nights I wonder if I shouldn't have slept under the stars

14/08/2024: C'est goûteux, de belles quantités dans l'assiette, ce qui ne gâche rien. On devine le respect pour la clientèle : service très agréable et gentil. Excellent moment culinaire et humain.

22/09/2024: Prix élevé pour un service très très rapide car second service à 22h ,accueil très moyen, espace mesuré, impossible de se lever, charcuterie très moyenne , plat,viande pas cuite selon la demande du client, un peu déçus car réputation soutenue .
22/09/2024: Menu à 35.5 euros, charcuterie pour 6 personnes mais quantité limitée juste pour 3, pièce de boeuf limitée en quantité , même pas 80g par personne , viande commandée bien cuite , elle arrive bleue .
Nous savons que la saison a été longue (nous connaissons bien ce métier) mais accueil très froid voire glacial du personnel et aussi du "patron " derrière son bar, seul élément positif , l'accordéoniste mais qui a du s'arrêter de jouer pour permettre le déroulement de a fin du service et permettre de dresser le deuxième , cela signifie payez et cassez-vous !!
donc piège à touristes!!!! C'est bien dommage pour un lieu comme celui -là !!!!!

26/08/2024: Bel endroit mais accueil déplorable ! 10 minutes après s’être installés à une table inoccupée et non réservée, nous nous sommes faits dégager avec notre boisson pour laisser la place à la restauration !!! La patronne est vraiment très désagréable. On ne conseille pas du tout
18/08/2024: Très bonne cuisine! Par contre on s est fait copieusement engueuler parce qu on avait réservé pour midi et on est arrivé à 12h 20!!!! Dommage de se faire accueillir de cette façon!!!!!

26/08/2024: Parfait, comme d'habitude, tout est excellent, la charcuterie, la cote de boeuf, l andouillette, allez y les yeux fermés ! Une véritable institution à connaître.
24/08/2024: De retour après une escale enchanteresse il y a plusieurs années, nous nous empressions d'y revenir.
Repas du dîner : menu à 34 euros. Plat du jour rôti de porc complètement fade, plus mou que fondant, comme bouilli dans l'eau. Servi avec jardinière de légumes surcuite constituée de petits cubes de carottes et pommes de terre insipides.
Repas du déjeuner : menu à 34. L'entrée du jour nous est annoncée comme étant "crudités". Nous nous attendions alors à une variété de racines rafraîchissantes et agréablement assaisonnées. En fait : une bien triste salade de laitue avec comme seuls aromatisants de petits lardons sans saveur et à la qualité suspecte.
Plat du jour proposé : rôti de veau. Coool, ça va changer du porc. Que nenni ! La copie conforme du rôti de porc précédant, au point à ne pas remarquer le changement d'espèce animale. Accompagnement proposé, "gratin de pomme de terre au four". En fait, une bouillie gorgée d'eau et surcuite d'oignons et de lamelles de PdT.
Seuls points corrects de ces deux repas, les cuisses de grenouilles (mais il faut savoir que celles-ci proviennent systématiquement d'élevages asiatiques de qualité et règlementations douteuses), puis la sole meunière dont la préparation ne nécessite pas une cuisine élaborée.
Petit-déjeuner : 10 euros servi avec jus d'orange, viennoiserie et morceaux de baguette, beurre et confiture industrielle en doses unitaires. La honte la question : "désirez-vous un yaourt ?" Ce qui sous-entend que le tarif est identique sans celui-ci. Quelle talentueuse économie madame Tichit !... Comparativement aux buffets plus complets à volonté et moins chers d'autres hôtels 2 étoiles.
A notre précédant passage, excellent café arabica serré. Aujourd'hui, dominance de médiocre robusta excessivement dilué.
En conclusion : Sincèrement, l'ensemble des repas servis me font irrésistiblement penser à de la cuisine industrielle servie dans certains groupes scolaires, hôpitaux et EHPAD. La grande économie par profit de la notoriété auparavant justifiée et qui rempli encore la salle d'habitués nostalgiques...pour un temps seulement.
