30/06/2025: Excellent establishment! Very well-prepared galettes and crepes, deliciously served. The setting of this beautiful historic house in La Roche Bernard is ideal. The waiters are friendly and welcoming. It's all there... We love it!!!

26/01/2026: We took a short break at this establishment after a long hike, enjoying a delicious Viennese hot chocolate accompanied by a very indulgent cookie. The service was friendly.

25/03/2026: Looking for oysters, we left another place because “the fishmonger was closed” and came here just around the corner in the backstreets of Vannes. Easy parking! Very small but busy. Excellent English and very gluten free-friendly. The best oysters we had on our trip. Delicate, briny but meatier. Very creative menu, beautifully executed. I had their take on Kig ha Farz, a Breton dish of hearty stew and gf buckwheat stuffing. Cod dish with spuds & cabbage was delicious too. Lovely, enthusiastically friendly staff at this delicious locally flavoured bistro off the beaten track. Go!

03/03/2026: A place that hasn't changed since the 70s. The restaurant offers a special menu on match nights: squid as a starter, pork knuckle or sirloin steak with homemade fries, and French toast for dessert. A real treat! The prices are surprisingly affordable considering the quality. Truly a pleasant spot for the pre-match ritual of RCV.

11/12/2025: Excellent food, whether you're a worker, a retiree, or an executive, you get your money's worth. Between €12 and €20, plus an aperitif if you like, you can easily spend €20. Honestly, the food is good. I recommend it.

03/06/2025: What a wonderful discovery! I wouldn't have thought to go in because the storefront could use a facelift. And yet, what a joy to spend time in a place where the 80s decor, the warm welcome, the quality of the semi-gastronomic meal at a reasonable price, and the professionalism of the staff all contribute to a truly delightful experience. I've been telling everyone I know about it because I'm so happy to have discovered this fantastic restaurant. 🤩🤩🤩

22/02/2026: We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and very pleasant place. The welcome was impeccable. The quality of the meal served in the restaurant was exceptional, and the wine list offered some delightful surprises. We also had the privilege of spending a night in the Hawthorn Suite in a magnificent natural setting. Breakfast was very varied, with homemade jams, drinks, and dairy products. We highly recommend this place. It would make an excellent gift.

20/03/2026: A beautiful town where life is good, and the cherry on top is the exceptional crêpes at La Gargouille. My husband had started a diet two days ago, but he couldn't resist and had a wonderful time! 😁 The crêpes are generous and made with top-quality ingredients. The welcome and service are warm and friendly; the chef even came to the dining room to make sure his customers were happy, which touched us deeply. We can't wait to go back! 💝💝

20/03/2026: Passing through Le Guerno, we stumbled upon this crêperie. The welcome was very pleasant, and the ground-floor dining room is lovely. The savory buckwheat crêpes are a real treat, and the dessert crêpes are too. The person who served us was very friendly. The chef came by to check if everything was alright, which I thought was a nice touch. Despite starting my diet, I couldn't resist indulging. 🤣🤣 Thank you to La Gargouille and its staff. We will gladly return, and I must say I don't understand some of the comments.

19/09/2025: Great "working-class" restaurants, and that's not meant in a derogatory way. Excellent food, pleasant service, friendly atmosphere. It's a shame there aren't more places in the 56 (Morbihan) offering this kind of experience.

23/03/2026: The best seafood platter I've ever had! 🤤 Honestly, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would without hesitation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ate so well that I seriously considered asking if I could take the platter home with me…😅 The highlight of the meal came when the waiter sang "Happy Birthday" to me. 🥹 And then, between his magnificent voice and his confidence, I almost thought dessert was part of a private show! Thank you for this wonderful moment, for the top-notch service, and for this atmosphere that makes you want to come back… even without a birthday, just to relive it 😉 I highly recommend it; eating at this establishment is a must! ✨

Aurélie and Natacha gave us an incredibly warm welcome 😍 We tried other starters, main courses, and desserts 🤤 and, unsurprisingly, EVERYTHING was delicious ☺️ Fresh, high-quality ingredients, expertly prepared by the chef and served with a smile and good cheer 🥰 An excellent establishment that has become our culinary headquarters for getaways in your beautiful region 👌🏻 Our next treat is planned for June 🤤🤤🤤 Thank you for these wonderful moments 🙏🏻

01/11/2025: A very pleasant experience, but I was particularly disappointed with the service. I asked for clarification on the ingredients of the dishes (due to allergies), and they confirmed that they didn't contain any. I ended up going home with a severe allergic reaction and rashes all over my body… Luckily, I had some medication nearby. I also think it's a shame that they take bread from one table and give it to another.
