Note that this is not a roadside diner! If it were, it would have to be open late into the evening and early in the morning, which it isn't.

10/03/2026: Having been a regular visitor to Vannes, I had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time after reading several very positive reviews. I finally booked a table for lunch.
Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to my expectations. The welcome seemed rather lukewarm, which didn't exactly put me at ease upon arrival.
The dining room is also quite dark and a bit gloomy, lacking windows except for a small skylight, which severely limits the natural light.
Furthermore, the menu offers relatively few choices, both for dishes and wines. The food wasn't bad per se, but it remained rather ordinary and didn't seem to meet the standard one generally expects from a restaurant claiming to be gourmet.
In the end, a somewhat disappointing experience considering the very enthusiastic reviews I had read beforehand.

Fresh, seasonal produce, cooked with passion.
Perhaps a bit too much mixing of flavors on the plate, but that's just my personal opinion.
09/01/2026: Fantastic little restaurant, a real gem! Delicious food, unbeatable value for money, and a truly excellent wine list. We've already been twice, and it's definitely a place that deserves to be much better known. A must-try!

21/03/2026: This family-run restaurant is an icon of Ploemeur, always offering the same menu but faithfully prepared, expertly crafted food. Never disappointed. Their wood-fired grilling concept is a sure bet, and the service is quick and efficient.
02/03/2026: The atmosphere is rather noisy.
The sliding glass doors at the back need cleaning, especially the door next to the hot food counter.
The food is good, but the side dishes are basic (potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and rice).

04/09/2025: Why do you offer a children's menu but not a single high chair? Why do you put a sharp knife on the 2-year-old's seat? Parents can't enjoy their meal in this setting. You make families with small children feel like they're not welcome guests. This is not a child-friendly restaurant.

02/03/2026: I came with my family and we ordered fish.
Unfortunately, it was completely inedible. We asked to see a manager to find out what had happened. The waiter came back to tell us that the fish arrived already prepared and that no one was available to explain the situation.
A very disappointing experience, both in terms of the quality of the food and the way the situation was handled.
I strongly advise against going there.

A pleasant, traditional establishment in its decor, with Naples fabrics and always fresh bread.
The cuisine is quite modern, using quality ingredients and, above all, plenty of freshness… the dishes are presented with great care.
The service is always friendly and discreet. A truly wonderful place that deserves to be better known.

19/02/2026: A wonderful discovery in Vannes. The cuisine is delicate and refined. We loved the salmon with its accompaniment, a delicate leek fondue. The chocolate dessert was exquisite, all served in a pleasant setting. The staff was competent and very professional.

21/12/2025: A very bad experience for us.
The cakes were tasteless, and the cream had gone bad. The cakes were clearly not fresh, not even from the day before.
When we politely expressed our dissatisfaction to the owner, he was very unpleasant and even aggressive.
Despite living in the area, we certainly won't be returning.
