From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the warmth and kindness of the staff. The service was professional, attentive, and friendly, creating a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. The cuisine is simply remarkable. The dishes are prepared with great finesse, showcasing fresh, local produce. Each plate offers a beautiful balance of flavors, elegant presentation, and a creativity that reflects true culinary expertise. We particularly appreciated the perfect cooking and the generous portions. The restaurant's ambiance further enhances the experience: elegant, soothing, and perfectly suited for a relaxed meal or a business lunch. In short, La Simplicité lives up to its name: sincere cuisine, impeccable service, and a warm atmosphere. 06/03/2026: This is a really, really good restaurant. The welcome and service were perfect, very warm and pleasant. The food is sophisticated and delicious. Excellent value for money. Everything is homemade, even the bread. I recommend it 100%.

04/01/2026: Okay, sorry, but I'm going to give it two stars. The first star because you can't start from scratch, and the second, which is the only good point, is that they at least said hello. After that notable event, it was like stepping into another dimension. The atmosphere was quite austere, a bit "uncomfortable" in this bar/restaurant. We were there, but we didn't exist! We waited patiently standing to order, but no one bothered to acknowledge us or even glance at us, for what seemed like an eternity. So we turned around and left. Perhaps our faces didn't deserve to boost their profits. We resigned ourselves to it, feeling ignored. Well, I don't blame them, it's just a shame to be in business when you clearly don't understand the basics. And maybe they simply don't need customers; besides, it didn't look like there was a rush of people coming in for a Saturday night. So we went to Lord's, and it was honestly great. I'd give them a solid 5/5 for their hospitality and service; they clearly know how to treat their customers. You should take note.

21/02/2026: A very pleasant bar where my partner and I had dinner and excellent wine! The staff were very welcoming. We will definitely return on our next visit to Nevers.

02/01/2026: A very warm welcome, the owner was very attentive, the atmosphere and setting were lovely, the wines were excellent, the charcuterie board was superb, and the meal was homemade with quality ingredients! We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back.

09/01/2026: While passing through Nevers, I discovered this charming restaurant with its delicious and inventive cuisine, elegant presentation, impeccable service, and reasonable prices (they even offer a set menu on a chalkboard in the evening, something increasingly rare in restaurants for dinner). In short, a highly recommended address that truly does justice to French gastronomy!

Elodie guides you through your choices with professionalism and genuine care. She offers dishes that are as visually appealing as they are delicious: each dish is as beautiful as it is tasty. We highly recommend her without hesitation. You can trust her completely. Go for it!

27/11/2025: I just took a workshop with Elodie to make a Yule log, a gift for my 70th birthday. It was fascinating and very informative. Elodie guided us throughout the morning, and the result exceeded my expectations. Treat yourself; I highly recommend it.
