14/09/2024: Ok it’s a clearance sale but still…. Endless waiting to get the wrong order twice and eat out of turn in the end. Two mussels then the other two, and the fries 15 minutes before.

Customers arriving well after us are served before us.
2 hours to be served, cooking not mastered, we ordered 4 steaks (2 medium and 2 rare) and in the end 4 medium rare received....
15/09/2024: Restaurant pour touristes. plat de lasages avec gambas ? plutôt des crevettes... nous en avons fait part au patron qui nous a rit au nez...prix des desserts et des vins super chers

06/01/2025: Legendary brasserie in Lille, which has never compromised on the quality of the dishes and the professionalism of the service. A safe address. Conviviality and warm atmosphere are also there.

27/09/2024: Critical time in France: Entering a brasserie to drink a long coffee at 11:30 a.m.: The mouth, near the door, removal of the cup as soon as you have consumed the last drop by a waiter who says nothing and without a smile. Followed within 4 minutes (11:56 a.m.) by a person who asks you if you have placed an order. The price quite high. I prefer establishments that refuse or reserve a corner for drinks only, which is not uncommon in front of a train station (train between 12 p.m.-2 p.m.) so it is impossible to have a full meal at the restaurant.
15/09/2024: We went there this day of the clearance sale, I can assure that the quality of service and meal (mussels and Welsh at the top)

Great choice of food and it is obviously excellent. The prices are also very affordable, so go for it!

30/07/2024: This is the Aussie pub in vieux lille every local ( younger locals ) hang out for apéro. Apérols are on happy hour and everything works well except the toilets are super filthy and that too when it’s not a Saturday late night. More hygiene would be appreciated. The bartenders can choose to ignore you so go to order at the bar

15/09/2024: Dirty place, the manager lacks respect for the waitresses and the kitchen, sorry, is not good.
The manager snaps his fingers to call out to the waitresses who do their job very well.
Dirt is everywhere in the room, the toilets, cobwebs around the windows, under the bar, etc.
We have come several times, our pizzas have never been good, we will not come back again.
28/08/2024: Our friendly neighborhood pizzeria where you eat well, even very well, at a low price for generous pizzas. We are regulars in the area and it is our haunt whenever we want Italian without going far.
The chef and staff are friendly and you can see that they love their job.
20/20 we recommend and re-order without hesitation.
A suggestion for improvement: offer burrata as an extra?

15/06/2024: We ordered 2 croissants, 1 cappuccino and 1 hot chocolate here.
It was in fact their croissants were the first croissants we ever had in France. We were not disappointed, it was so soft, crunchy and elastic. We were joking about how we have been eating the "fake" croissants back at home the whole time because this tasted so much better.
The staffs were very friendly and speak English. I am so thankful for this because I do not think they could understand our broken French otherwise.
We would definitely come back if we have chance visit Lille again.

18/12/2023: Cet hôtel ne mérite pas 4 étoiles (ni sur sa façade ni dans ces avis). Les équipements ont vieilli, le petit-dej est très basique, et surtout ils se permettent de mener de grands travaux pendant la présence des clients et ce dès le matin. C'est un défaut de professionnalisme et de respect inadmissible pour un hôtel qui se prétend de cette gamme. L'hôtel est en transition entre Crowne et Hilton, soit, mais alors il faut le fermer le temps des travaux et assumer le manque à gagner. Je n'y retournerai pas, quelle que soit la chaîne dont il fait partie.
16/12/2023: Assez déçue de cet hôtel testé pour une nuit lors d'un déplacement professionnel...
Les + : localisation proche des gares / la literie / le petit déjeuner.
Les - : chambres vieillottes et vétustes qui méritent un bon rafraîchissement (surtout la salle de bain).
Si j'ai bien compris, l'hôtel a été racheté et devrait être rénové... ce qui est nécessaire !

29/08/2024: We came to the reserve cafe we asked for a fuze tea and an apricot juice, the fuze tea was not good the apricot juice was more of a syrup than a juice then the owner who was unpleasant then didn't say Good morning. You have to get your drink from the bar The toilet was in a state full of saddles to the top disgusting drinks and I think for 2 drinks it was a bit expensive €6.90 for 2 drinks served in a container not even in a bottle.
The glasses were not very clean in fact we left without drinking them we came between mother and daughter
25/08/2024: The service and the staff are super cool, good atmosphere (but the staff cleared my glass or finished the coffee cups!!! For me, that's NOT the case...... dsl
