05/08/2026: I'm Japanese. I came to eat gaufres. The shop has lots of sweets like chocolate and caramel. I bought several boxes of caramel as souvenirs. There was a Korean staff member who could speak a little Japanese, which was reassuring. The gaufres had a flavor I'd never tasted before, but they were so light that they disappeared in no time. They're not heavy, so you can eat them while walking. You can buy them one at a time. Please enjoy them!
02/08/2026: Considered an institution by many, I was extremely disappointed by my experience: I've never eaten such bad marshmallows in my life! And don't even get me started on the vanilla-filled waffles—they tasted of oil and mustiness, and the dough was incredibly elastic. They went straight in the bin; avoid them at all costs! As for the service, we encountered unfriendly and inconvenient staff (they refused to accept cash)!

28/08/2026: The bartender was very unpleasant. From the start, he refused to say hello and asked me what my problem was. I then asked him for a glass of water, but he refused very coldly and told me to leave because there was supposedly a fountain at JB Lebas. I felt oppressed and very unwelcome in this bar; I strongly advise against going there—it's really best avoided.

And bariatric surgery friendly too. We were able to share a main course and dessert without having to explain ourselves! Thank you so much.

02/06/2026: I booked a night for myself and a contractor for an evening out at a bar near the hotel. My contractor had a terrible night, attacked by bedbugs with two bites, one of which was in his eye. The management's response was, "It's certainly my contractor who brought them in with him..." Putting aside the inappropriate humor, I think this establishment should be avoided at all costs; it has absolutely no respect for its customers or for hygiene.

07/07/2026: Friendly staff. We ordered an iced caramel latte, banana frappuccino, and flat white. Also a brookie and Nutella muffin afterwards. It all tasted very good.
05/07/2026: Had a salmon bagel it was like trying to eat a boulder the bread was rock solid, salad inside was too mushy to eat, I think it was a tomato in there but who knows and the coffee was hotter than the surface of the sun so was too bitter to drink

17/07/2026: I didn't know the steak sandwich contained chicken, it's simply disgusting, the bread is as revolting as the minced fat steak, I do not recommend it at all!
20/06/2026: The hygiene leaves much to be desired. There were high-fives between customers and kitchen staff without handwashing, the kebabs weren't great, and neither was the service.
I don't recommend it.

22/05/2026: Horrible stay…horrible is the word.
I have never, ever seen a hotel as noisy as this one. It was impossible to get any proper rest, and the soundproofing was nonexistent. The other guests had absolutely no respect for being so noisy; it was shameful.
However, the location is great, with everything nearby, and the room was clean.
07/05/2026: We're in a 3-star hotel?!
The rooms have been renovated, but not the toilets, which are covered in limescale. The walls aren't either; you can clearly hear what's going on in the neighboring rooms.
The new heating system is very noisy for the rooms located at the entrance to the parking lot.
Luckily, the receptionist is helpful.
But it's not worth 3 stars.

03/02/2026: Extremely disappointing, a disastrous experience. Dishes were served after 2 hours and 10 minutes and were of very low quality, with exorbitant prices compared to what was actually on the plate.
01/02/2026: What can I say... the team has changed, and even though the welcome is friendly, the place is completely different. Aux Éphérites was long among the top 10 restaurants in Lille: a great selection of wines, bold and original cuisine... But unfortunately, that was then... There's practically nothing on the menu, the food is bland, and the service is awkward... The owner did offer us drinks, admittedly on his own initiative, but it's not the same at all. We were a bit disappointed because we were used to the previous version, and it's clear that the place is no longer worth the trip.
