19/02/2026: What a change! I came a few months ago and booked without checking recent reviews. It was a terrible experience, starting with a very strong sewage smell where we were seated. It continued with the fish dish of the day, undercooked and covered in a cheap, industrial sauce. And the service was just as bad as lunch, though our waiter was actually better than his colleagues. Never again. This brasserie is nothing like it used to be; avoid it!

30/11/2025: Beautiful, characterful building and clean rooms. Great location by the Citadel Park with restaurants nearby. Good breakfast.

27/11/2025: A stay we won't soon forget!! Upon arrival, the room was pitch black, and there was no light in the wardrobe; we had to use our cell phones to see anything... The room was very dusty, not to mention the tattered, faded curtains! The bedding and bathroom were clean! The TV was on the floor or in your bed, and you could barely see a third of the screen, but for us, the worst was yet to come! Breakfast was accompanied by Ratatouille (mouse)... Never again!

05/03/2026: A real nuisance for the whole neighborhood; groups of unemployed people loiter in front of the entrance, doing nothing but shouting and playing music. A constant disturbance, day and night. The owners or the town hall need to take action quickly.

25/12/2025: Not accessible to people with reduced mobility, which is unacceptable in 2025, and all the more regrettable because people could consume the product. A doorbell is provided, but it's often useless since the staff pretend not to see you, probably too lazy to go outside when the place is full; the customers serve you. Some customers even cut in front of you despite you announcing your presence. The smell of cannabis is unbearable when you walk past.

21/12/2025: Extremely rude, no greeting, not a glance, and openly mocks people. A Too Good To Go with nothing but stale merguez sausages and a big smile: you're going to love it!!!

20/12/2025: Never again, unpleasant.... I wonder if it's because of my appearance??? Terrible service, sneering smile, filthy floor. I strongly advise against going there, and judging by the reviews, I'm far from the only one. I gave it one star because I can't give it less.

23/03/2026: My sister and I went to Le Pain Quotidien for an afternoon snack. We had to wait over 30 minutes standing up before being seated—well, it was busy. However, once we were seated, we waited another 40 minutes without even being served, without a single server coming to see us, even though I made sure to get their attention. After those 40 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. I used to really like this place when it also had a location in Rihour, but these days the service is abysmal. It's become a tourist trap, solely focused on making money, with absolutely no customer service and the food is of extremely poor quality, and this has been going on for a while now without anything being done about it.

23/03/2026: Avoid this Lille branch and go to independent local business for better food and customer services even when it was not busy.
