25/08/2024: Good experience overall. Top notch staff. Comfortable and well insulated room, small downside for the shower which is very small.
On the other hand, the neighborhood is really not very reassuring, especially as a woman. Don't come alone ladies. The metro is right at the entrance to the hotel but is very poorly used. I was not reassured fortunately I was accompanied

Decent cleanliness too.
Really cool breakfast and great service.
Regarding the location, nothing to worry about: a few young people nearby who stay in groups, nothing crazy when you're used to lively places :-)

10/09/2024: Belle expérience dans cette très belle brasserie. Service rapide et professionnel. Nous avons mangé le filet américain et le poulet aux morilles et à la crème. Nous avons terminé par le café gourmand. Les portions étaient généreuses et tout était très bon.

07/09/2024: Pitiful service, served in 5 minutes even after ordering an aperitif.
And I'm not talking about the pile of meat including the carbonade, to believe that they have free meat, in short, waste!!
We will not return there.
06/09/2024: I tried Le Welch au Poulet, and it was beyond my expectations! If you're in Lille and looking to try something new and delicious, I highly recommend giving it a go.

09/07/2025: I hate doing this. But this is truly disappointing, and I think even food safety is compromised. I asked for "a Point" meat, which was almost raw, and the portion was small. The fries weren't fresh either, and my companions also received dry ribs with a kind of gelatinous slurry. The burger was still reasonably good. But this is definitely not recommended. The view was good, and the prices were reasonable. But I can't imagine anyone leaving here happy.
08/07/2025: Horrible, overpriced dinner with poor quality food. Dishes were promising on the menu but dismal on the plate. Move on.

24/09/2024: The hotel is very close to the city center. There is a parking garage in the adjacent train station. The hotel's restaurant and lobby are pleasant. Breakfast was pretty good.
There was no toilet paper in the room (to be precise - there were two nearly finished rolls). However, the receptionist provided a roll upon request.
24/09/2024: Location is central but ventilation is very poor. Air conditioning did not work in the entire hotel for 3 days and nothing was done about it. Very unfortunate to have to sleep in a closed room at temperatures that are too high.

27/09/2024: Critical time in France: Entering a brasserie to drink a long coffee at 11:30 a.m.: The mouth, near the door, removal of the cup as soon as you have consumed the last drop by a waiter who says nothing and without a smile. Followed within 4 minutes (11:56 a.m.) by a person who asks you if you have placed an order. The price quite high. I prefer establishments that refuse or reserve a corner for drinks only, which is not uncommon in front of a train station (train between 12 p.m.-2 p.m.) so it is impossible to have a full meal at the restaurant.
15/09/2024: We went there this day of the clearance sale, I can assure that the quality of service and meal (mussels and Welsh at the top)

Customers arriving well after us are served before us.
2 hours to be served, cooking not mastered, we ordered 4 steaks (2 medium and 2 rare) and in the end 4 medium rare received....
15/09/2024: Restaurant pour touristes. plat de lasages avec gambas ? plutôt des crevettes... nous en avons fait part au patron qui nous a rit au nez...prix des desserts et des vins super chers

30/08/2024: I walked past the bar and wanted to say hello to colleagues and breeze by. So I didn't want to consume, they ask me what I want, so I answer a glass of water. Glass of water refused, “glasses of water are for those who eat.” No no I assure you the water is for anyone madam.
2€ for the toilets. Plus it's not like they were clean, between midges and smell. I haven't eaten there so no opinion on the food but I think it will be fine. Too bad for an establishment so well located with such a beautiful terrace.

20/09/2024: Je rejoins l'avis de plusieurs : un bon spot pour une bière mais un resto à fuir.
Le lieu serait inspirant pour une cuisine de passionnés mais il n'en n'est rien de cela.
Les plats sont principalement concoctés avec des produits industriels. Ils sont fades, insipides, sans plaisir et insultants pour nos papilles. On ne sera pas déçu par les desserts, ils sont dans la continuité de la médiocrité alimentaire. Une vrai philosophie d'une nourriture néfaste pour la diététique. Mais restons optimiste, ce restaurant ne peut que s'améliorer faire pire c'est compliqué.
24/08/2024: The beer is not good but also, my friend had a glass with chewing gum stuck in it (inside). The waiter doesn't say anything.. Service to see again guys...

You shouldn't listen to the grumpy people at the sale, I ate very well there on Saturday, it was crowded.
