04/07/2026: A little nice place for snacks, tapas and a beer, great gathering places full of young people. taste is unexpectedly good. The price is very affordable and the size of food is relatively generous. It is a very popular places and we were lucky to grab a table as it was raining heavily that day.

01/07/2026: There's a real problem with this place; since I discovered it, I haven't found anything better anywhere else. The homemade dishes are just as good as the desserts. The welcome makes you feel right at home. Not to mention the sandwiches that you can cut in half to double the enjoyment! And don't even get me started on the prices, which are about as affordable as a good-looking guy who doesn't know he's good-looking. I won't be going anywhere else anytime soon.

19/09/2026: I rarely leave reviews, and when I do, it's because I sincerely believe it's fantastic. You can go to Quai du Wault without hesitation! I've eaten there several times, with family, friends, or on my own. And everyone has always been very happy with both the food and the service. (The food is beautiful and delicious, the service is impeccable, and if there's ever a problem—which is rare—the after-sales service is excellent!) Summer or winter, the atmosphere is always perfect. In summer, it's more relaxed and peaceful on the terrace (a real treat), while in winter, it's warm and cozy. The decor is great, as are the table settings and the presentation of the dishes. The new owners are truly attentive. They're two young people who have been immersed in the industry for about ten years, and they do it with passion and a lot of love. You can tell they're a close-knit team, and for them, opening a restaurant isn't just a business, but a true calling. Thanks Antoine and Sylvain, and see you next time!! 😁

13/09/2026: The waitresses were very pleasant, but there was a slight downside to the food. I ordered a bowl, and the vegetables weren't fresh, the rice was a bit grainy, and the mustard sauce had no flavor.

13/09/2026: I came with my boyfriend for a drink in the evening; it was my second time there. The first time, I hadn't really enjoyed it because I thought the cocktail wasn't strong enough. But this one was just right, exactly how we like it. Of course, they're not cheap, and there's no table service—you have to get your drink at the bar and find a seat—but I think the atmosphere is great. Plus, there's a security guard at the entrance, so it's quite safe. It's really a perfect place to have a drink in the evening and soak up the Lille vibe in peace and quiet. And the facade is absolutely gorgeous.

07/09/2026: Scammers who charge extra for non-refundable "deposits" on every drink. And the manager acts like a gangster. The food is disgusting; my burger smelled like rotten meat. My brother-in-law, who works as a health inspector, is going to be fired soon after reading my story.

13/09/2026: The all-you-can-eat option is very affordable and the flammekueche were delicious. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, and are there to advise you on which flammekueche to order. Great!

30/08/2026: We were in Lille for 3 nights and came here on the first day...and third day...and final day. It was so good The coffee is great, the crumbles divine, the croissants fat and buttery and the serving staff are adorable. Just the absolute best place. I tried to recreate a crumble, but I don't think it was half as good.

29/11/2025: The food was excellent: fresh ingredients, clean flavors, beautifully plated. The service, however, was unprofessional and abysmal. After the fish course, the dirty plates sat untouched for 45 minutes, until I finally bussed them myself because they smelled. I had to wander the restaurant to find the server and ask for the check, cancelling dessert. When I said I shouldn’t be charged for a dish I no longer wanted, the waiter snapped, “You chose it, you pay for it.” This place is not worth it.

25/11/2025: A well-deserved 5 stars. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, everything was perfect. The ingredients were very fresh, local, and chosen according to what's available at the market. Not to mention the very friendly welcome and impeccable service. Excellent value for money. You absolutely must go.
