29/03/2026: For years I've been coming to this hotel, and I've always been very satisfied. It had been a few years since my last stay, and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is very well located, and the staff (reception, bar, housekeeping) are excellent, both in terms of service and their friendly manner (politeness, smiles, etc.).

24/03/2026: The curtains were so old they were starting to fall apart. The bedspread was torn in the middle. The toilet and bathroom are separate. There's no tap/sink to wash your hands in the toilet area; you have to go outside to get to the bathroom. The staff in the bar/restaurant area didn't speak English, and they said there wasn't an English menu. The only positive thing was its proximity to the station.

13/03/2026: The place was intimidating for me. I wanted to eat something, but none of the numerous staff seemed particularly interested in a lone tourist. It's hard…

02/04/2026: A wonderful experience at La Réserve bar in Lille. I particularly enjoyed the signature cocktail, the "Réserve Spritz," which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. Our waiter, Julien, was warm and attentive throughout the evening. The decor blends elegance with a cozy atmosphere and very pleasant, soft lighting. It's an ideal place to relax with friends and enjoy a convivial and sophisticated experience.

06/03/2026: I've always loved this place; it's a very pleasant spot. I adore the concept and its commitment, and I've been coming for years. Unfortunately, on my last few visits, I was particularly disappointed by the welcome I received from one person whose attitude was very unpleasant. I can certainly understand and empathize with people experiencing stress or heavy workloads (we've all been there), but that should never be an excuse to speak rudely to someone. I don't usually like to leave negative reviews, but I find this truly regrettable.

31/03/2026: We go there whenever we're in Lille, and this time we were very disappointed!!! We saw a cockroach strolling around, and the waitress was wiping her nose with her hands 😱😱 We both got sick after the meal 🤢🤢🤢 I'll never set foot in there again

15/03/2026: Saturday, March 14, 2026. Around 7:45 a.m., I went to get a coffee and a croissant. The croissant was soggy and tasteless. The staff were unpleasant so early in the morning—unbelievable! Finally, not wanting to bother them any longer, I paid and left. I won't be back anytime soon. Wanting another croissant and a coffee, I finally found a superb place, Augustin & Ferdinand (see my review for this REAL baker!!).

17/11/2025: As a Lyon native visiting Lille, my discovery couldn't have been more delightful. A warm welcome, a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere—I had a wonderful time with the other customers and the manager. All this, of course, while enjoying a good glass of wine without restraint, as the ideal location allows easy access on foot to all the city's attractions. Thank you for this evening spent in your company. Laughter and sparkle ;-).

08/11/2025: Excellent coffee, just like before! The restaurant is perfect for lunch. There's always a daily special, with unbeatable value for money. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service efficient, making it an ideal spot for a quick and tasty lunch break.
