27/06/2024: I've been going there for years and my parents used to come there too. But the last 3 times I found that the quality of the dishes and the service have clearly decreased. Twice I ask for rare cooking and twice I end up with overcooked meat and twice there have also been errors in my order. We ordered 2 carbonnades and the quantity was very meager for the 2 to believe that there was enough left for one person and who shared in 2. I plan to come back for one more and if still disappointed I risk giving up for a good time on the pubstore. Beyond that if you're coming for the first time it's still a nice restaurant but for a regular at the time I'm disappointed with what the pubstore has become.

04/06/2024: Dark restaurant, the tartare was much too spicy, the waitress not very pleasant I won't go back there, there are plenty of much better places around

25/07/2024: Great solidarity café, the prices are adorable and the attendance is one of the best in Lille. You have to land there

27/06/2024: The ideal place for gourmets who want to enjoy traditional Lille dishes or fast food. A tasty vegetarian salad with pasta and redcurrants, olive cookie, light vegetable fritters, grape couscous and a little onion confit, all served by a super friendly team involved in a scop.

10/08/2024: Belle salle, bon accueil avec des conseils avisés, ne serait-ce que pour la bière. Très bon restaurant de poisson. A refaire absolument.

05/08/2024: Had the lunch menu (menu du midi), the tuna tartare was mixed with shrimps, a smart and economic way to increase texture to the dish The haddock main dish is very well cooked, tender and hot inside with good seasoning. The sauce has a good aroma like an essence of seafood. Selections of wine are also nice

11/04/2024: In Lille over an April weekend to watch Paris Roubaix. Le Pot Beaujolais (situated just off the main square) was our choice for a Friday evening meal. We walked past the restaurant en route to our accommodation and it jumped out at us - it looks like the sort of restaurant you'd find in rural France, rather than in the middle of a city. Having just arrived in the town, we had no reservation but the very friendly staff found us a table. Dishes are traditional French (steaks, andouillette, stew). I planned to order the Pot au feu but it wasn't available so settled on a delicious Pike quenelle in leek fondue. The charcuterie/cheese board we shared as a starter was also good, as was the apple pie for dessert. It's very easy in Lille to find a chain restaurant or modern bistro, particularly in the centre of town. It's probably harder to find a 'little gem' - Le Pot Beaujolais is definitely the latter.

14/06/2024: Really good burgers + fries. Great sides menu. Juicy burgers. A little bit steep on the price but then again for good food it's worth it.

31/08/2024: The portions seem to have decreased and the prices are increasing....but what annoys me is the plus it's to receive a slate with 3 pieces of bread for 6....and the same for the fries...and even if we can ask for more, it would be nice to have a normal portion from the start.... It was better before

15/09/2024: We went to eat in this estaminet on the first evening of the sale. There was therefore a special clearance menu but nothing had been indicated on the site when booking to warn us of this, which was disturbing because I personally could not eat anything (allergy to seafood + does not eat de Maroilles)… The waitress then suggests that I take a hot platter with “onion rings, chicken tenders, cheddar and squid bites” with salad. Although there was squid, I decided to take it out of spite. What was my surprise when I saw that there were 3 salad leaves and that in fact there were not onion rings but cod acras!! I asked two other waiters to confirm to me that the fried rings were really with squid to avoid eating them, neither of them knew how to answer me, so they sent me away without even going to ask in the kitchen... What a lack of professionalism! I'm not even talking about the things in the dishes that I was able to eat that were just not good... In short, I ate almost nothing, very disappointed

30/08/2024: Nothing from an estaminet, welsh lover, today I ate a slice of ham and a toast bathed in oil Only 4 dishes available on a menu which nevertheless includes around ten Waiters who speed up the service as if they were in a hurry to finish their evening, nothing surprising when we note the presence of only 10 customers for a Friday evening. At least think about weeding your facade, this will allow a few customers to make the mistake of entering there. I hadn't planned to comment but since you don't even ask us if our evening went well, this is where I say it. Good luck to you see you soon on M6 in nightmare in the kitchen.

11/08/2024: A very pleasant place for an evening with friends or family. Little light, clean tables and smiles await you. The servers are smiling and welcoming. I particularly thank the barwoman who introduced us to many flavors. I highly recommend!

08/04/2024: The terrace is really nice in the heart of Wazemmes. It is really isolated in a very small neighborhood. It is shared by 2 bars. There are pétanque courts. Go for it

27/09/2024: Food poisoning!! I don't know if it was the deviled egg, the snails or something else, but the next day in the early morning, there was no doubt, it was food poisoning.

20/09/2024: Je rejoins l'avis de plusieurs : un bon spot pour une bière mais un resto à fuir. Le lieu serait inspirant pour une cuisine de passionnés mais il n'en n'est rien de cela. Les plats sont principalement concoctés avec des produits industriels. Ils sont fades, insipides, sans plaisir et insultants pour nos papilles. On ne sera pas déçu par les desserts, ils sont dans la continuité de la médiocrité alimentaire. Une vrai philosophie d'une nourriture néfaste pour la diététique. Mais restons optimiste, ce restaurant ne peut que s'améliorer faire pire c'est compliqué.

24/08/2024: The beer is not good but also, my friend had a glass with chewing gum stuck in it (inside). The waiter doesn't say anything.. Service to see again guys...
