05/12/2024: Arrivés par hasard dans ce restaurant un samedi midi nous avons vraiment très apprécié la cuisine et le service. Nous avons commencé par une planche de foie gras à partager composée de deux généreuses tranches de foie gras et d’un peu de salade. En plat nous avons pris un carpaccio et un tigre qui pleure. Ce dernier porte bien son nom car la sauce est vraiment très piquante et amène une petite larme à l’œil. Ce n’est pas un plat que tout le monde pourra apprécier sauf à aimer la cuisine épicée, ce qui est mon cas et je me suis régalé.

15/11/2024: Après avoir passé une après midi à la foire du vin à Lille, il était grand temps de se restaurer. Au détour de quelques rues, nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce restaurant. Or, quelle agréable surprise ! La patronne fut très sympathique, la nourriture très bonne et servie rapidement. Tout cela à un prix abordable ! Que demander de plus? Je recommande vivement

22/01/2026: This restaurant was absolutely terrible. The foie gras was tasteless with traces of industrial packaging, the ribeye steak had an stale aftertaste, the andouillette sausage was cold, and the crème brûlée (it must have been sitting in the fridge for ages because it wasn't yesterday's date...) We had a very bad experience. The waiters were there but not really there, the restaurant had no soul... Sad...

18/01/2026: The atmosphere was nonexistent, the waitress inexperienced, the owner rushing over with his device to retrieve QR codes, the foie gras starter was terrible (you could even see the packaging residue), the ribeye steak (with a €2 supplement) had an unpleasant aftertaste, my husband ordered an andouillette sausage which was awful and cold, and the crème brûlée for dessert was both visually and in terms of taste, most likely expired. A bad experience; we won't be going back.

29/09/2024: Hello, what can I say about this experience... Customers arriving well after us are served before us. 2 hours to be served, cooking not mastered, we ordered 4 steaks (2 medium and 2 rare) and in the end 4 medium rare received....

01/09/2024: Nice decoration and atmosphere. On the other hand, 0/5 for the quality of the dishes. It's clearly not worth the price. A Caesar salad served without Caesar sauce, an iced tea served in front of you at the bar with a big container that doesn't tempt you, an extremely bland avocado toast. Thanks to the boss for being understanding, the Caesar salad was not included on the bill.

31/08/2024: Located just opposite the Grand'Place, ARA has a very beautiful decoration. Fast and very pleasant service 🥰 Wide choice of drinks such as smoothies etc. But dishes can be improved - Poke a little bland, you don't feel enough of the sauce on the vegetables and be careful the prices are quite high (17 euros per Poke / 5 euros per drink) But place for a very very nice coffee ☕️🥰

30/09/2024: Reservation for a group of 18 people: super well organized, well placed and the menu offered was top and delicious. Two people had intolerances and the cooks were able to adapt. For the service, great too! Nothing to say, thank you for this beautiful evening :)

20/11/2025: Booked for a birthday at 1 p.m., we arrived early to have drinks at the bar. The waiter from the restaurant refused and came to us to ask us to be seated, as the kitchen closed at 1:15 p.m.... Finally, he suggested we start with an aperitif...?! Anyway, after ordering our aperitifs, the wait to order our food began. The only worthwhile dish was the forest mushroom starter... what a shame. The cheese plate, ordered à la carte, had only two small pieces of cheese out of four. As for the presentation, two of the four worms were chipped, the steak knives were dull, and by the time the two waiters returned to the dining room, the meat was cold. The setting was very nice, but the quality/service/price ratio was disappointing. Whereas just a few weeks earlier, everything at the bar had been perfect. We will only return to the bar from now on.

13/10/2025: Meal for a group. The setting is beautiful, but the meal is canteen-style: everything is self-service (even though the main course should have been served at the table) and the quantity is insufficient. The quality was well below the asking price (75 euros!!).

13/11/2025: The service is top-notch, Hélène and Max are incredibly kind, and the food is excellent. They offer a diverse and varied selection of daily specials, generous portions, and well-prepared dishes. The owner provides a warm welcome. It's great value for money. We come back again and again.

01/11/2025: I came in for a drink. They served me a 50cl beer for €49.00 including tax. Unacceptable. My wallet took a hit. I've been broke ever since, luckily the waiters have a few blankets under their aprons… Kisses

25/12/2025: Not accessible to people with reduced mobility, which is unacceptable in 2025, and all the more regrettable because people could consume the product. A doorbell is provided, but it's often useless since the staff pretend not to see you, probably too lazy to go outside when the place is full; the customers serve you. Some customers even cut in front of you despite you announcing your presence. The smell of cannabis is unbearable when you walk past.

06/12/2024: A FUIR Attrape touristes ! Dommage qu'on ne puisse pas mettre moins d'une étoile. Cuisine médiocre pour des tarifs plus qu'excessifs : frites congelées, steak complément carbonisé, hamburger au goût de brûlé, jamais eu notre carafe d'eau.. et quand on s'en plaint au serveur, le gérant n'intervient que pour nous sommer de payer et de déguerpir, à la limite de l'insultant. Il doit avoir l'habitude des clients mécontents avec sa réponse toute faite "vous êtes les premiers de la journée à vous plaindre " et l'argument choc "vous en avez quand même mangé "

26/11/2024: Buen servicio y muy alegre. Preciosa comida en terraza afuera viendo pasar el mundo! Tenía módulos al la crème, mi marido tenía Le Welsh con pollo.

10/10/2025: A restaurant that is very "in its own juice", typical of Wazemmes, with a local atmosphere. We liked the chicken and the tartare. Fast service.

07/09/2025: Mistake on the drink order, and after 45 minutes: no food, the order had been forgotten, no goodwill gesture and we felt like we were intruding. Too bad.
