18/09/2024: Superb typically Basque restaurant where you are welcomed as at home with smiles and delicious and very generous dishes! I highly recommend with a group of friends, but in a small group it also works. Very nice wine list and special mention for the homemade sangria!
13/09/2024: We (re)discovered this renowned restaurant and came away enthusiastic about the quality of the dishes and the service; we won't wait too long to go again, I recommend this address to everyone who loves fine gastronomy

I don't know how the chef organizes his service but definitely we should change his technique... even the waitresses were not comfortable

23/04/2024: I went to November. The atmosphere was not great and a series of events made the moment very unpleasant. I don't go to Ciboure regularly because I'm from a neighboring town and now live abroad. In November the place was just full of regulars and I was passing through with a Swedish friend so communicated in English with her. Two guys started commenting and spying on our actions, right down to our choice of drinks and food. Asking what we were “doing there” without addressing us directly. The waitress didn't speak to us in a very friendly way either and seemed to look down on us.
It was unfortunately not a good experience.

13/09/2024: We found this table completely by chance on September 11, 2024. Simple but just delicious food. I tried the ham shells... which I recommend. The delight of lovers of unpretentious gastronomy concocted with precision and talent. Impeccable and warm service. Excellent value for money. We forgot about the rain and had a great time.

02/09/2024: A nice surprise. We came across a waitress who was attentive and attentive to the customer. It's difficult to talk about all the cuisine but our mozzarella vegetable toast was delicious and excellent value for money.
27/08/2024: It's rare to find a restaurant where each visit is as memorable as the last, and yet that's exactly what we experience here, time and time again. Returning after a few years, I am delighted to see that everything has remained absolutely perfect.
The dishes are as exquisite as ever, made with exceptional mastery using carefully selected products. Basque specialties and regional products are enhanced on each plate. The wine list, made up of natural vintages, remains a real gem with unbeatable prices.
The enchanting setting, with this breathtaking view of the ocean, has lost none of its charm. The restaurant, soberly and elegantly decorated, offers a soothing atmosphere that invites you to relax. Sitting here, with your feet in the sand, is a real privilege.
The team, for its part, is still remarkable. Attentive, smiling, and extremely friendly, she contributes greatly to the unique experience we have here. The boss, Fabrice, a true emblematic figure of the region, continues to bring this place to life with his professionalism, his humor and his passion. He once again succeeds in offering us an exceptional moment.
If you are in the Basque Country, this restaurant is simply a must. A huge thank you to Fabrice and his entire team for this perfect evening!!!

07/09/2024: Avoid... the ice creams are OK but nothing extraordinary and above all too expensive (€3 a scoop), the smoothies have no taste (except that of frozen) and when you politely and respectfully ask for a gesture for a tasteless raspberry smoothie, the manager is unpleasant and bad faith.
With so many years of career, he should know that it is better to consent to a gesture or offer a scoop of ice cream rather than simply not admitting that objectively there was a problem.. result: 1 bad review.
06/09/2024: Very bad experience - absolutely avoid!
We visited this ice cream parlor/creperie to enjoy smoothies and ice cream, but were extremely disappointed. The smoothies were clearly made with poor quality frozen fruit, and the taste left something to be desired.
But the worst part is still the boss's attitude. When we politely point out to him that his products are bad, he blows, shows unbearable arrogance and categorically refuses to make the slightest commercial gesture.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy quality products and respectful customer service, I highly recommend you stop by!

07/09/2024: Repas un samedi midi en couple lors d'une escapade au pays basque en amoureux. En terrasse près du port. Cadre agréable. Le restaurant ne paye pas de mine mais une très elle surprise ! Serveur très gentil et accueillant. Repas moules à la crème de chorizo un DÉLICE avec des frites maison tout aussi délicieuses ! On recommande +++
