11/04/2026: Horrible service , the food in the main restaurant is terrible and the service in the restaurant is teribble! The rooms are not that clean. They didn’t add more towels when they were all used. The room was soooooooo hot, the bed is uncomfortable and so are the pillows.
In breakfast they charge you money if you ask for fresh orange juice, in the half board they caculate at dinner what you order and the if you exceed 65 euro per person they charge you extra.
The only good thing I have to say is about the ski shop - Andy was so lovely and gave us the best service.
Bottom line this is not a 5 stars hotel
07/04/2026: Great experience despite reading the mixed reviews. The staffs and conceige were all very friendly and approachable, we had a great time with gd memories of our stay
Heated ski lockers and ski in/out was super convenient. Not to mention the ski rental is just beside the lobby. Special mention to the one of the conceige staff ( a young guy sorry we din get his name ) who assisted my hubby with the winter socks for our rental car. He even gave us 2 bottles of water for the road. These kind gestures meant so much to us. Oh the free shuttle to town and back were such a nice touch esp on snowy days. Thank you Altapura for adding fond memories to our French alps adventure. Hope to be back in near future as we are from far away Asia.

11/03/2026: The agency staff were very friendly and attentive.
The apartment was very well located, right at the foot of the slopes as advertised. A few repairs were needed, such as a leaking toilet, a shower tap that needed replacing, and a patio door that needed fixing. Otherwise, we had a great week as a family in Les Menuires.

14/07/2026: A very good restaurant, ideally located with a beautiful mountain view and a large terrace. The decor is typical of mountain restaurants and the atmosphere is pleasant. The only downside is that the restaurant is quite noisy when it's full.
13/05/2026: I ordered a warm goat cheese salad (without the country ham). While eating, I saw a few small dead insects in the salad greens, and when I turned it over, I saw a large insect with wings crawling around in my dish. I showed the insect to the waiter, who took my dish back to the kitchen, and then they told me there were no insects, even though I clearly showed it to two other waiters who confirmed it. The receipt shows the salad was charged at €20, and we had to argue with them to get a 50% refund.

14/03/2026: Having been regulars at the resort for several years, this restaurant was, despite everything, a very pleasant surprise.
From the warm welcome of the staff to the quality of the food and the cozy atmosphere (especially the table we were seated at in the cabin), we had a wonderful time.

18/04/2026: We come back several times each year, we love the staff, the food and the wine advice from the owner who is a great enthusiast, I recommend it 300%, to the owners: biz from Dinan and see you next year!
02/03/2026: An excellent brasserie! It's changed its name and is now called Le XV. The owners are the same, thankfully! Besides the great food (we tried the burgers, the pierrade, the raclette, the pizzas, and the crêpes), it's the atmosphere and the warm welcome from the owners that keep us coming back! A nice bonus: a well-stocked wine cellar that won't break the bank. Thank you and well done!

21/05/2024: It's just a nice restaurant. Service is good and the owner is also friendly. Pizzas are absolutely fine. They are also often collected. The only downside I found was the hunk of meat. Well cooked, still pink on the inside, but I really expected something different for a sirloin steak.

12/03/2024: Le jeudi soir 7 mars 2024, nous attendions derrière une autre personne afin de nous voir attribuer une table. Ayant terminé avec la personne devant nous, à notre grande surprise, la jeune femme du restaurant s'est rendue derrière le comptoir pour continuer à y travailler. Après quelques minutes, ma femme s'est rendue au comptoir. Ce n'est qu'après avoir insisté et dit bonjour à plusieurs reprises qu'elle a regardé ma femme. Ma femme lui dit : "Nous avons une réservation pour 3 personnes". La réponse fut surprenante : "P..t..n". Et elle a continué ce qu’elle faisait. L'homme à côté a alors pris le relais. Mon envie de souper dans Les Marmottes était déjà passé. Lorsqu'il ne trouvait pas ma réservation, il a suggéré que nous nous installions à une table qui avait été réservée plus tard, mais qu'il fallait se dépêcher. Nous avons refusé et nous sommes allés manger - savoureux, moins cher et dans un cadre très agréable - dans notre hôtel 4 étoiles. En plus, voyant que les tables étaient entassées les unes sur les autres, on se demandaient comment les gens font pour se lever sans bousculer tout le monde autour d'eux. Et manger dans un resto et payer cher en étant assis sur une chaise de jardin en plastique, ça non plus, j'en ai pas envie. A éviter.
