01/04/2024: Excellent local French food and service. The place really fills up around peak dinner time with locals, so I would recommend showing up early or making a reservation.
The portions are large. Especially the Foie Gras, way larger than the portion you might see in the States.
I highly recommend a visit.

03/04/2024: Exorbitant price for an overcooked meal, grilled fries, a morito evoking the flatness of certain boredom, the toilets, refuges for turds lost in the yellowish urinary pool. Even the water tasted bad.

04/04/2024: The food is amazing! The vegetarian version with breaded mozzarella is crazy! Only small problem: the queue and the wait, each time I went there it was very long (up to 45 minutes of waiting one lunchtime)
04/04/2024: I ordered a burger meal without most of the ingredient due to the language barrier and I went back for an exchange. They gave me a new burger with everything without questioning and very politely. I would recommend this eatery for their service

As for the setting, whether upstairs or on the terrace, it is pleasant and well decorated.

01/05/2024: Fuimos en familia con los niños y pedimos dos menús infantiles, un entrante para compartir y dos platos principales. Tardaron algo en servir el menú infantil y el entrante, los cuales he de decir que estaban muy buenos. Posteriormente estuvimos esperando más de una hora a los principales y el postre del menú infantil. Tardaron tanto que tuvimos que levantarnos e irnos sin haber casi comido puesto que teníamos una cita posterior. Resumen, buena comida pero no la pudimos probar puesto que no la pudimos comer…

09/05/2024: Very nice setting but a lot of waiting. Almost 1 hour to have the two children's dishes. Concerning us after more than 1 hour of waiting the dishes arrived... cold. Too bad because the place is very nice.
08/05/2024: The food is delicious, good value for money. The tartiflette is excellent. Efficient and friendly servers. The children's menu is qualitative.

01/04/2024: We cannot comment on the pancakes or the drinks: we decided to move on given the welcome we received.
Obviously the boss was offended that we had brought tables together on the terrace. Rather than telling us, he preferred to make the remark to his colleague, but in such a way that we could of course hear.
After a less than cordial exchange, he explains to us that we can go elsewhere, not worried about his figure given his "golden" location.
The location may be nice, but it still lacks the basics: welcome and service.
30/03/2024: Service was great, but the food was inedible. I couldn't have lunch, the meat tasted spoiled and the only food I ate was French fries.

Restaurant room almost empty, but despite everything 45 minutes after placing our order, our meals were served to us once again cold.
It's a habit in this restaurant....
The plates have shrunk and therefore what is inside too but not the prices...Fries not cooked.
The manager is unfriendly and haughty and does not take our comments into consideration......
We went to have dessert elsewhere...

01/04/2024: Mixed experience. The lady at reception is so rude. Fortunately the boss was there. I don't mind that it's a complicated time, but the clientele is not a relief. I don't know if I would come back.
Otherwise the meat was good and the side dish cold.
01/04/2024: Overall the food is good and well seasoned and the prices remain reasonable given the quality of the ingredients.
On the other hand, the reception clearly needs to be reviewed. No hello, no kindness. The waitress literally got angry with me because she had to bring my tray to the table.
The quantity of the chicken curry rice dish is far too small for €11.90 so that it could easily be given to a child. There was very little chicken and I was far from full.

07/05/2024: Welcome, service and very pleasant surroundings as usual, unfortunately the cuisine is not up to standard, for increasingly high prices. The gravelax salmon as a starter and the veal chuck parmentier as a main course unfortunately had no relief, no flavor (far too much of a puree saturated with cinnamon or allspice).
As for the (excellent) desserts costing €14 (you have to do it anyway), we would prefer to buy them at more than half the price in the nearby pastry shop and enjoy them at home.
We've been testing it regularly for years, but we've never really left satisfied.
I will not dwell on the dishes served quickly, the starters having arrived barely a few minutes after the aperitif, which we did not have the opportunity to appreciate as it should be...
It is time that at the Chai you offered cuisine worthy of the setting with suitable dressing, but above all at the height of the prices asked which obviously imply excellence and respect for the customers' palates.
It's not today that you will get one or two place settings in the Red Guide...

29/03/2024: I went with my children. Good welcome. The kids were given juice upon arrival and a coloring book. Animated reception with music. Fair space rooms. Small bathroom. All clean. Varied buffet breakfast. On the outskirts of Paris. The train station is about 12 minutes walk away. 2 train stops from Disneyland. And about 30 minutes from the center of Paris by car/taxi.
27/03/2024: Very satisfied with the quality of my room.
Top reception team, special mention to the evening catering team, a little nod to Lindsey.

We had a great time, the pancakes were delicious and the quality/price ratio is there despite the very touristy location.
