24/03/2024: Very friendly setting. Excellent meal, copious seafood sauerkraut but the seafood platter is quite minimalist in terms of quantities (but very well cooked).

22/03/2024: It was outstanding! We ate in the kitchen on two evenings. The menus were terrific. The service perfect. The boss was always present and explained the menu in detail. Great, relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful ambience.

27/03/2024: We ate very well, the plates were very generous, it was a feast for the eyes as well as for the taste buds.
The only small negative point would be the lack of smiles from the staff, the lack of humor and of escorting these customers to the door out of politeness, I think.
Otherwise beautiful setting, beautiful place 😊

Top service and friendly boss
Original Norman house setting.
Just missing aperitif menu
Too bad because the whiskey choices are quite nice
I recommend.....

The service is of high quality, worthy of very great restaurants.
The prices are those of quality restaurants.
Very good experience we go there regularly.

Travelling down to the south of France over night in Rouen, Restaurant Les Capucines popped up on the radar as a potential 'good eats' venue. Advertised as a family restaurant, we received a warm welcome to a spacious dining area, slightly dated, but with a pleasant ambiance. Various options for 'le menu' that offered good value. Limited menu of seasonal selections (good, good), well prepared & presented, and most important, lovely flavours!
If you are passing though, definitely worth a visit.
