21/02/2026: For once, we followed TripAdvisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. The roast chicken and its jus were excellent. There's no doubt about the origin of the poultry; it's farm-raised. The service was very pleasant, and the portions were generous.

25/02/2026: Excellent routes, as always with Arkose. The gym is well-ventilated and bright, which is pleasant. However, there are two major drawbacks. First, the mandatory use of liquid chalk for obscure reasons, even though it's really terrible for holding holds, especially the chalk sold by Arkose, which is particularly poor quality (pasty, doesn't stick to the skin, and comes off in two or three movements) --> go take some chemistry lessons at Friction Labs. Second, and a significant drawback, is the anarchist graffiti everywhere in the gym (toilets, changing rooms, etc.). Either you get it removed, or you condone it. We live in a democracy, don't forget that. If they were swastikas, they would have been gone a long time ago, I think. It's a shame that climbing is becoming politicized...

23/02/2026: First time in this gym, it's far too small for the number of people it holds. Too many people under the routes, dangerous. A climbing gym isn't a children's playground; between the music being too loud and the screaming toddler running under the routes... fantastic!

18/03/2026: Visited on 10/03/26. The welcome and service from our waitress were very good; however, the value for money was quite disappointing. €15 for a Caesar salad with barely one chicken tender in it is quite shocking (see photo). Overall, a rather average experience.

17/03/2026: After more than 10 years without eating at Courtepaille, my partner and our baby were looking for a restaurant for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food and the meat were cooked perfectly. Tony was very attentive, especially to our baby. Thank you to him. We will come back or try another restaurant. Thank you.

I think this might be my last fondue of the year, but I can't wait for the next one. Congratulations to this establishment, which has been around for 26 years (a fact I just learned tonight 🤫)!
