18/09/2024: I don't recommend it, very friendly staff but avoid apart from Picardy string the rest is inedible thick tough meat and above all let's not talk about cleanliness even a dog in the kitchen
15/09/2024: Very disappointing, several times we come and they bring us cold dishes!!! (And the other tables too) Especially for the price!!! Plus the frozen fries are really not great. Personally we will go elsewhere next time!

05/12/2024: Disappointed by our experience this Saturday lunchtime.
The website does not mention it but the self-service restaurant is not always open (probably due to the low season?) and we were therefore entitled to a limited snack offer.
The reception was the real downside of our visit:
-unpleasant response when asking to sit at the table (because not yet set with setting limit to 3 pots afterwards without the table having been cleaned at any time)
-no menu presented and no price given: the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink or eat and gave us some elements of the menu orally
-responses from the waitress were a little more pleasant as the meal progressed but did not compensate for the unpleasant experience at the beginning.
We found that the price was excessive for what we ate: €25-26 per person for a croque monsieur and fries (or ficelle picarde fries for some) with a glass of aperitif and a beer.

12/09/2024: We enjoyed a nice family meal at the Auberge. We had the set menu which was basic but tasty and reasonably priced. The location is very nice and the auberge is very quaint. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the Stella was delicious! Will return.
30/07/2024: We were passing through. Nice, quiet hotel. 4p room plenty of space, even with a dog! (No elevator available) Swimming pool, did not use breakfast. Staff is nice, parking is available in front of the door.

Very good (country) bistro for lunch, you can also buy a scratch ticket or even your cigarettes because the place is also a tobacco bar.
Catherine the boss welcomes you warmly, she is attentive to her customers, she loves her job, and it shows!
The food is very good, the plates are generous and the value for money is unbeatable.
The dishes are homemade, with seasonal products and especially local products such as the beaten maroilles cake which is a treat.
You can go there with your eyes closed. Thank you again for this delicious moment at your home!

Une excellente adresse à retenir, je conseille vivement.

01/09/2024: I didn't put any ☆, that's normal! Certainly we came to visit Lille, for the day, during the Olympic Games, but this restaurant should have anticipated this influx of customers, both for the quantity of dishes, as well as the service and reception. We arrived for noon, with a crowded terrace, but an indoor room half full... we were asked to return by 1 p.m. What we are doing, because we wanted to sit down at this institution!!! Reset a second time. No reservations possible I specify, at least what we were told. The pompom, "we" inform us that this will not be possible, because in the kitchen they are overwhelmed, that there have been a lot of people for 15 days, that they are tired! Real real!
During the Lille clearance sale, how is it going? Or simpler, all year round how does it work? When you're a restaurateur, you're supposed to receive customers! So people, therefore cooking, therefore serving, not counting your hours.
Otherwise you have to change jobs.
We can't say to customers, "I can't see you, I'm tired, because I've been working too much these last few days!"
Instead, say "sorry, we're full."

16/07/2024: Désastreux, station fermée à 22h malgré lumière allumée et panneau indiquant 24h/24. Petit local avec toilettes et deux machines à café ouvert, mais sale et une machine a encaissé pour nous servir un gobelet vide en guise de café (celle de gauche). Horrible, à fuir.
13/07/2024: Nous avons voulu payer en espèces sur l'aire de service et nous avons attendu 1h15 ! La personne n'ouvrait pas sa cabine et ne se montrait pas ! Elle dormait ??? A quoi sert une aire de service 24/24 dans ce cas ??c'est une aberration !
Il a fallu insister plus d'une heure pour que le monsieur vienne ouvrir et nous serve !
