27/02/2026: Excellent restaurant! We had dinner with colleagues in a small private room. The welcome was warm, the staff attentive and very pleasant, the space was both spacious and cozy, and the food was superb: fresh, local produce. The cassoulet is an absolute must (be warned, it's very generous!). The dishes were beautifully presented. All our compliments to the chef! And to his energetic and caring wife. I highly recommend this place and I plan to introduce it to my husband and friends!

Two drawbacks: damaged and sometimes sticky tables, and above all, a major problem with the staff who are unable to tell you what's in the gourmet coffee and refuse to ask! Their only response is: "It changes every day." Okay, but what if I don't like it, or if I have allergies? They don't care!

15/03/2026: The place is very pretty, it's a shame the food isn't up to par. The duck breast wasn't cooked properly and some ingredients on certain dishes were unnecessary. Keep it simple, it works very well.

16/02/2026: Passing through Montauban, we booked a table at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the welcome. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was top-notch. The waitress was lovely and smiling, the meal was excellent, the service was quick, and for February 14th, there was a little Valentine's Day decoration. In short, perfect. Go without hesitation!

06/03/2026: The place was lovely and the owner very kind. However, we waited a very long time for our food (2.5 hours in total at the table). The food was good but not exceptional, with the chocolate fondant being a major disappointment as it was very dry.

19/02/2026: Originally from Guadeloupe and visiting the city, we came for lunch. We stopped at the Place Nationale, saw the restaurant, and noticed it was full, but we wanted to get some information (if they offered other services or if we could come another day) and ask questions. The waitress, barely arrived, offered a less than warm welcome, didn't take the time to listen to us, and promptly ushered us towards the exit, suggesting another restaurant. It's not my habit to criticize a restaurant, and one can understand certain situations, knowing that the restaurant business isn't easy. But there's an art to how you interact with customers; first impressions are crucial. This review isn't intended to criticize this establishment, but rather to encourage the staff to be more attentive to how they welcome potential customers. I am responding to your feedback: Sir, your sarcastic response only confirms the lack of professionalism we experienced. Before writing a review, we took the time to consult your positive feedback. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. To claim that it is abnormal to enter a full restaurant to ask for information or make a future reservation is a rather peculiar view of hospitality. You praise the welcome "Madame" gives to your regular customers, but on that day, for us, as Black and Afro-descendant women, the welcome was icy and the expulsion swift. This stark contrast between the glowing reviews and our experience raises a legitimate question about the impartiality of your service. And yet, my colleague returned to calmly tell "Madame" that the way she spoke to me could have caused discomfort, and I was. She became defensive and even more dismissive. Finally, please be aware that your fellow restaurant owners in the city, where we were received with the respect due to any customer, were the first to be shocked by your attitude and do not share your vision of service at all. A true professional knows how to question themselves instead of hiding behind their "regulars" to justify discriminatory behavior.

18/02/2026: Excellent cuisine, beautifully presented dishes, and impeccable service. Smiles and friendliness are always present. All this at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant located under the arcades of the lovely Place Nationale in Montauban.

15/02/2026: Our experience at this restaurant for Valentine's Day was very mixed…the food was delicious, no complaints there, but the service was incredibly slow (there must have been a problem somewhere, I think, because we hadn't seen any similar reviews). We rarely eat out, and frankly, we were disappointed with the price we paid for the service (€78 per person). They forgot our aperitif, the wait was incredibly long…the servers seemed lost…we didn't even know what course we were on and were asked (except for one person who did her best, I think, thank you to her).

This restaurant is simply incredible: the subtlety of the flavors, the quality of the ingredients, the generous portions… everything was perfectly executed. The attentive and professional service was impeccable from beginning to end. Congratulations to the whole team for your warm welcome and your attentiveness to our 23 guests; each one was pampered with great care and elegance. 06/01/2026: Fantastic place! I go there regularly with friends for lunch or afternoon tea. The food is excellent, everything is homemade, and I'm always blown away every time I go. The dishes are both simple and feature very interesting flavor combinations. The desserts are absolutely divine; my favorite is the banoffee pie 😍 If I could, I'd give it 10 out of 5 stars. It's my absolute favorite, and it was high time I left a review.
