09/05/2024: Extremely disappointed with the food. Inspired by the vegetarian menu, which promised beautiful flavors and the catchy “homemade” formula, we looked forward to eating in this restaurant. The dish was very light and homemade was reduced to two pieces of vegetables on the plate. The falafels come straight from the supermarket (because I make the same ones at home). Two salad leaves with crumbs, I mean goat crumbs. I still tried to give them a second chance by having dessert. Industrial crepe too. Second disappointment, which will be the last because I would never come back to eat here! I paid €68 for this, I'm outraged. Too bad, because the atmosphere was nice and the service was very good. I am outraged.
09/05/2024: Beautiful place, nice atmosphere, but small quantity and very expensive to eat non-homemade products (falafel balls and crepes).

10/05/2024: The majority of restaurants today take food allergies into account... well not Le Cascarbar..
In 2024, it is obviously not possible to adapt the menu for a child by making a simple mashed potato.
I find that very unfortunate. I wish you continued success, hoping that one day you will be able to adapt to today’s world!

23/03/2024: For the cheese slate in the room with written cheese platter €8 (right next to it a platter with cheeses under a cover on display) and we bring you a plate with a small assortment of 4 cheeses and cherry jam, it's not a “tray” is a plate.
Parillade less good and less plentiful, small shellfish, sandy razor clams, new sauce for uninteresting squid strips (chorizo marinade?) You might as well take the cheaper lagoon plate (€26) than the parillade at €38 which is not worth it. price difference with shellfish and 1 piece of fish extra.
Too bad I recommended the Lagoon for the value for money meat and fish as well as service... it's over.

A pretty decoration.
The cuisine sometimes lacks flavors and seasoning.
The techno dessert is meant to be original and I like that but be careful that originality does not take over what a dessert should be.
