08/09/2026: I treated myself to a mango and a giant macaron with raspberries – so delicious, and the saleswoman was lovely too! So, after two days, I went back and bought more delicious little cakes: a lemon one and one "La Toupie." Simply divine! 🤩 It's just a shame I couldn't take any home on the bus. 😭

07/09/2026: A little tasting evening; I really wanted to see what this bakery was all about. So I bought two trompe-l'œil pastries: peanut and pistachio, as well as the famous galette des rois (king cake), which is in the top 6 this year! The peanut pastry was a success; the peanut praline was delicious, and the mousse was light and not overly sweet—perfect! The pistachio was disappointing; it lacked texture, the industrial pistachio paste inside was uninteresting, and the biscuit base was uninteresting. I would have preferred crushed pistachios instead—a higher-quality option! The galette des rois was a disappointment. The frangipane was very simple, lacking a strong almond flavor; it's a classic frangipane. On the other hand, the puff pastry was perfect! So, 3 stars instead of 4, based on the price list, which reflects my high standards. It's still very reasonable, though.

03/09/2026: Not many people, so it was nice to be able to eat in peace and quiet. Starter, main course & dessert with a drink. The price was a bit high, but still average. The starter was bad; the salad was far too vinegary and served no purpose other than to mask all the other flavors. The main course was average, lacking in flavor, but the side dish was good, even if it's hard to stomach that the side dish costs almost as much as the main course... For dessert, you can definitely save €4-5. In short, I guess I didn't choose the right dish, but there was clearly a problem with the seasoning of the starter. I didn't eat badly, but for the price, I expected better. A bakery sandwich would have been more satisfying, and at least it wouldn't have cost €30.

07/07/2026: Excellent value for money. I especially loved their shrimp wonton soup! We also tried the Chinese hot pot. The meat portion was very generous, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

09/08/2026: Hello I went last night, August 8th, 2026, to eat with my family and I found the food not very good for the price. I ordered bao buns, and the burger I was served was so small it practically fell apart; it looked like it was just salad inside. The meat was very tough, barely edible. The rice wasn't very good either, and the mushroom pasta could be much better. Frankly, if I had to rate the food, it would be a 0. If I were being mean, I would have asked for a refund; the onion wings were practically burnt. I prefer the Pepper Grill in Noisy-le-Grand. Sincerely, I won't be going back there.

25/07/2026: The food wasn't great (everything was frozen, from the fries to the desserts), which is a shame. Too many choices, which suggests it's not homemade. I went once, but not twice!

29/09/2026: We came as a group of three for lunch today. The galettes and crêpes were good, and the terrace was very pleasant on this mild late September day. The prices were a bit high (for example, a salted caramel crêpe was €11 on the menu), but I gladly accepted it given the quality of the food and, above all, to support our local Vincennes businesses. The experience was good until the checkout. I simply asked for clarification on the bill, politely and without arguing. The exchange lasted 15 seconds. The woman who took my payment replied curtly, with a hint of condescension and a palpable impatience, which I really didn't appreciate and which has no place in front of a customer. When I then wanted to pay in two installments (my daily meal voucher limit was €25 and the remaining €31 by credit card), she said, "€25, I suppose?!" The rather cold tone of the comment (perhaps unintentional, but still unpleasant) left a bitter taste in my mouth as I left the restaurant. After paying, I left, thanking the staff and saying a polite goodbye. I had been there a few years ago and had generally had a good memory of the establishment, but I remembered something that had bothered me back then, though I couldn't quite put my finger on it. It was the way they sometimes speak to customers. For me, the welcome and friendliness of the restaurant owner are just as important as the food itself. That's why I wanted to share my opinion, and not in an extreme way, as the experience was somewhat spoiled at the moment of departure. I think the way they speak to customers could be improved to truly enhance this establishment.

After waiting 20 minutes to order a coffee, even though the terrace was far from full, we politely asked inside the restaurant if we could order. The waitress, who was calmly folding napkins, replied in the most disdainful tone that she was coming! The order and the rest of the service continued in the same vein: no smiles, no sense of customer service, and an unbelievable level of nonchalance! A second waitress, bringing coffees for another table, noticed that her customers had left. The price is also exorbitant: a double espresso and a café crème for almost €10... In short, avoid this place!

30/09/2026: Wow, it's rare to find a brasserie like this! Friendly service, good vibes, excellent service, smiles… and on top of that, it's delicious!! 😍 My go-to spot in Vincennes, and I'm usually quite picky! Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed! 👌
