The dishes are excellent and well presented, the lunch menu really affordable. My friend comes from Paris to Nogent on purpose so that we can have lunch there. 14/12/2024: Le repas était très bon, l’attente était trop longue par contre lors de notre passage vers 15h le samedi 14 décembre 2024, il y avait un serveur qui a travaillé, un jeune homme de couleur tout de noir vêtu qui était au bar aussi, très désagréable et irrespectueux qui ne mérite pas tout de travailler dans cette enseigne. Les autres serveurs ont été très correct et respectueux. Qu’il prennes exemple sur eux.

29/09/2024: Je me suis rendu à Hippopotamus un samedi soir ! On est allé sur un coup de tête en fin de soirée, voulant absolument l'entrée : œuf poché au chorizo ! Nous n'avons pas été déçus. On a bien été accueilli et servi rapidement, on a vraiment très bien mangé ! Il y avait très peu de monde, pour un samedi soir, je ne sais pas si nous sommes passées après le rush ou si vu que c'est les vacances, il y a moins de monde, en tout cas, on été très contente ! Si je veux chipoter : Hippopotamus prend les chèques vacances, mais pas en dématérialisé, c'est dommage, même si c'est un détail. Encore merci aux personnels, souriants, disponible et très professionnels ! Bon courage à l'équipe !

23/10/2024: Great food, during the week they have a menu, entrée + plat + dessert, for €16 which is really good. I was hesitant because of some comments, but I liked everything. I ordered avocado salad first, very rich in flavor. For the main course, beef bavette with Roquefort sauce and homemade fries, very delicious too, at the level of cooking you ask for. And for dessert they had quite a few options and I loved both the crème brûlée and the lemon and meringue pie, the latter was with a puff pastry and also a very generous portion. The waiters are very friendly and serve quickly. They have a small terrace for days when the weather is good and plenty of tables inside, it is large. They do not have a baby chair or high chair.

29/08/2024: Unquestionably my favorite brasserie in Maisons-Alfort! This place has become my HQ. I don't hesitate to have breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner there! I am always well received there. Big plus: the decor, the attendance, the kitchen, the location, the bowl for my dog ​​and of course the great team without whom nothing is possible!!! Thank you.

03/11/2024: Endroit chaleureux et agréable où nous avons apprécié les pâtes carbonaras et une pizza. Celle-ci copieuse et goûteuse ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir d’autant que les serveurs et cuisiniers sont très souriants et sympathiques…

28/10/2024: Lieu convivial, repas excellent (tartare, escalope milanaise, pavlova, fromages, café gourmand), cocktails délicieux (sex on the beach et Pina colada), personnel très sympathique. Un très bon restaurant pour bien commencer les vacances
