13/09/2024: Disappointing experience. Incredibly slow service, servers seemed disorganized and not attentive. We waited over 30 minutes for simple drinks, which ended up being poorly prepared. Additionally, the atmosphere was noisy and uncomfortable. Clearly, this is not a place I would recommend.

26/07/2024: disappointing value for money. We had dinner as a couple and we were disappointed with the meal. The dishes were beautiful, well presented but lacked taste. I no longer have the final price in mind, but given the "standard" announced (knowing that it is a 3* hotel, we assumed that the restaurant was at a certain quality level). The starter/main course not having met our expectations, we shortened our meal by abandoning the desire to have a dessert.

04/06/2024: First of all, thank you for the welcome. Come and have lunch on the terrace with a view of the Vendée countryside and the hotel swimming pool. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. As for the meal, very refined and plentiful. We had a great time on Mont des Alouettes, a few steps from Puy du Fou. I highly recommend.

27/07/2024: Small, actually quite cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Starters and dessert ok. Main courses unfortunately disappointing: Moule Mariniéres were actually ok, but very salty. Fish of the day would have been ok, the curry sauce (wasn't on the menu) was a roux with curry from a jar and completely masked the taste. The entrecôte first came very rare instead of medium, and on the second attempt it was a little less raw. Both times the surface was burnt (the grill was way too hot and/or charred). French fries tend to be dried out and/or made from old oil. The improvised vegetarian dish (salad with tomatoes and onions) unfortunately came in a VERY sweet sauce and the French fries that came with it were also as above. I can't understand the positive reviews.

31/07/2024: Endroit devenu très triste seules les galettes sont mises en avant,les tranches d andouille sont tellement fines qu il ni a qu une face,service déplorable,dommage c était un très bon restaurant

27/07/2024: Nous avons fait une pause déjeuner dans ce restaurant qui venait juste d’ouvrir ou d’être repris. Endroit pratique mais assez simple. Tout était bon y compris les apéritifs à base de galette. Petit souci avec une galette à l’andouillette vraiment pas garnie: nous avons été déçus, et choix assez faible de boissons.

14/09/2024: Small, comfortable and welcoming hotel in La Tranche sur Mer, outside the Center. The bedding is of good quality, lacks soundproofing with neighboring rooms. Separate toilets, but too cramped.

17/09/2024: 2ème fois que je viens. Autant l'année dernière j'avais été conquis, autant cette année ce n'était pas à la hauteur de mon souvenir. En arrivant on nous annonce, pas de carte aujourd'hui, juste le menu du jour et dans le menu pas de choix : - en entrée une quiche froide avec salade (bof) - en plat, plus qu'un seul plat (nous sommez arrivéa à 12H30 pourtant, donc pas en fin de service), donc obligatoirement poulet au riz (mais c'était bon) - seul le dessert proposait une alternative. Les deux choix était bons. Service sympathique et efficace (presque trop rapide). Par contre le restaurant était plein un midi en semaine, en général c'est bon signe, peut être qu'on est mal tombé ?

17/07/2024: Resto sympa pour manger le midi, pour l'accueil, la qualité des produits, la quantité. Le plat du jour est parfait et très complet, entrée plat dessert pour un prix très raisonnable. Aux beaux jours la terrasse est agréable pour déjeuner dehors c'est une bonne adresse à tester !

10/11/2024: During a stay on the island last week, we booked for 2 people. Fortunately, because at the appointed time, the restaurant was full. Buffet starter and Basque chicken main course. Nothing to say, hearty and well cooked. Even the pitcher of red was perfectly acceptable. Working-class restaurant atmosphere, pleasant and fast service. Top quality/price ratio. Well done

03/12/2024: Stationnement dans la rue. Galette (un peu brulée) jambon emmenthal à 8,50 €, accompagnée de salade (croquante). Crêpe à la confiture à 4,90 € (2 parfums seulement : fraise ou abricot, déposé sur la crêpe). Pas de possibilité de changement dans le menu (entrée + dessert impossibles) => sens commercial proche de zéro ! Salle lumineuse mais on entend les conversations.

26/01/2025: Very nice surprise! An intimate restaurant offering good pizzas and a tasty menu. From the sauces, to the meats and the side dishes, everything is perfectly prepared. A special mention for the sea bass, the poultry and the meringue/lemon/citrus dessert. All for a very reasonable price. 👌🏽

16/09/2024: Rien n'a changé, l'ambiance est toujours aussi agréable, les plats toujours aussi bons et le type à l'encaissement toujours aussi imbuvable et incorrect. Dommage que le propriétaire ne fasse contre ce gars impolis.

15/09/2024: Pour la xeme fois, toujours aussi bon,bien présenté et bien servi,ne changez rien. De l'apéritif au dessert, 60 euros par personne vin compris, rien à redire.
