26/09/2023: Great campsite, Fred the manager is adorable, caring and welcoming. The horses are housed in 5***** paddocks with grass and space... everything is done for a wonderful stay! Thank you very much...I will definitely come back 😁

21/09/2023: I recommend this campsite. Our mobile home was spacious and well appointed. Swimming pool with nice slide.

07/10/2024: We had lunch at this so-called farm inn...... Place closed on our arrival at noon. Opened by the waitress shortly after. The meal was deplorable. A minimalist fish served with a few slices of potato. A sea sauerkraut (additional charge of 4 euros) served in a cast iron casserole dish. A few pieces of dry fish and not enough (there were 5 of us) A few mussels, and a little shrimp. Dried sauerkraut. We had never eaten so badly, for the price of a fairly high meal. Deplorable. Avoid at all costs....

07/10/2024: Attracted by the "farm inn" concept, AB producer of poultry and cattle, we thought we would enjoy some good products. ERROR !!! Very expensive menu, canteen cuisine; a scam all round. Flee this place which is not even beautiful because it is not maintained.

10/09/2024: Nous avons attendu 1h00 avant d'être servi, la pizza trop de fromage 🧀 imengable, la galette ça peut aller ,la table derrière une table de 6 personnes arrivés à 19h30 à 21h00 toujours pas servi nous retournerons sûrement pas la.

07/09/2024: Hé oui nous repartons de St Hilaire au revoir le Tropical merci à Dimitri notre petit serveur et à notre petite serveuse adorable ainsi qu’aux patrons nous reviendrons allez-y c’est très sympa et pour répondre au mécontents allez dans un resto pour les bourgeois bonne continuation merci

They helped us call a taxi...they took care of our luggage while we visited the museum...and the most beautiful thing was the farewell...everyone came out to greet us. 30/08/2024: Music too loud I will surely file a complaint because preventing people from sleeping and my 4 month old son until 5:00 a.m. on a Thursday while it is a weekday is unacceptable for an establishment. If this persists I will wake up the staff early in the morning to show them what it feels like not to sleep and not respect the permitted noise.

22/09/2024: Nous étions à vélo pour une balade sur l'île, dommage il pleuvait et plutôt pas mal. Nous nous sommes dit que nous pourrions boire un café et nous sécher dans l'unique bar, restaurant du port de la meule. Une personne a entrouvert la porte pour nous dire qu'il n'était pas ouvert et donc nous sommes repartis à nous rincer sous la pluie. Il y a des commerçants qui ont un drôle sans de l'accueil. Alors qu'il aurait pu nous ouvrir juste le temps d'un café et nous aurions peut-être même pu revenir pour déjeuner le midi. Je ne pense pas qu'ils étaient débordés et qu'ils avaient beaucoup de réservations. Pas terrible.

16/08/2024: Atmosphere used to the place! We enjoyed the bass rib with shallot sauce 😋 Some criticisms are inappropriate... it's written on the sign... yes we're in a snack bar, not a restaurant and we eat well there! So don’t get nervous! The service is very friendly, and yes you have to take the gentleman with humor! And we eat there at any time!! (Thanks to the young waitress from a nearby restaurant, whose kitchens were closed, who sent us there!)

16/08/2024: In 2 words: never again From start to finish this restaurant, which we can call its restaurant, made us go crazy, in short with the filth in just one meal I think we could do a sketch.

21/08/2024: Very warm welcome with friendly and attentive staff. We devoured a delicious prime rib with potato and sweet potato fries, salad, cooked tomatoes… All the cooking is homemade. Followed by a very good dessert. We want more!

08/09/2024: We went to the hotel as a family...only the location is perfect! Very dated hotel. Bathroom in poor condition, pieces of bed left in our hands. Unpleasant smell when arriving at the hotel. And to finish on a high note, the breakfast lady is very unpleasant. Only the gentleman at reception on the first day is friendly and friendly. We do not recommend this hotel to avoid!

24/08/2024: Hotel well located, beautiful view of the port if the room overlooks it. Otherwise.... In the summer, the bars next door have parties every night, until 2 a.m.-3 a.m., bring earplugs! The hotel room: missing some electrical outlet, small shower, missing shutters and possibly an air conditioning system and above all, a functional VMC in the bathroom because of the lack of windows, some pretty mold is present 🙃 in short, a bit of renovation and upgrading is necessary! Staff quite friendly overall.

07/08/2024: How can I describe my disappointment to see that this kind of behavior exists. We came as a family to enjoy the setting of the embankment. I would like to point out that I am from Sable and that my family came on vacation here. We sat outside with my baby who was crying from hunger. The look and behavior of the waiter shocked me enormously in the face of this inherently common situation. It's still amazing to see that families can't come and take advantage of its service. I myself was embarrassed and ashamed in front of my family who did not know the Sables d'Olonne. If I understood correctly a retso bar NOT ADAPT: . To the family . Baby . Tourists . Premises (les sables d’olonne) One piece of advice is not to bother opening it. What an image it really is for our traders. I even think that one star is way too many. I really don't recommend it.

07/08/2024: We begin to settle down to be on the terrace, until the waiter realizes that there is a baby with us and... He sighs and makes a comment to the other customers because the baby of two month in question cries! It’s deplorable to see this! We immediately turned around in the face of the lack of know-how of the staff that day! Unacceptable to see the behavior and the welcome that was given to us! The star was just to share our short experience with the boom

03/08/2024: We rented from Madame Vacances. Well located place. When we arrived we were surprised, we were given the keys but without an inspection of the premises. The holiday home is perfect, quiet, the swimming pool is great. (Burkini accepted). We have an assigned parking space. On the other hand, it was our surprise when we returned to the accommodation: there were animal hairs everywhere, on the beds, on the floor, I'm not talking about the dust. We had to ask for disposable mattress covers and cushions otherwise it was impossible to sleep on the beds. One bed could not be used, but girls had to sleep 2 in the same bed. The fridge wasn't even washed, we had to clean it before using it, tiny drying rack for 5 prsne. The house hasn't been cleaned in a while. The furniture smelled of damp and so did the dishes. We got a parasol without the base, when we asked we were given a moldy parasol so that was really a shame. While waiting for their new base which had just been ordered to arrive. Fortunately we didn't spend a lot of time in the house but more outside. Finally, no one checked the condition of the house when we left, we just returned the keys to reception.

28/07/2024: It's been a long time since we rented in a residence like this! Assigned parking space for each accommodation. A large cottage (there are 4 of us, I took for 6 people) with terrace and garden furniture, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, 2 bedrooms, large mezzanine with sofa bed and a washing machine. A small individual terrace. No opposite the adjoining house. The houses, however, remain close to each other. Wifi is only available at reception. The swimming pool is large. The staff is attentive and friendly. Walking distance to the forest for walks with your dogs, beach, bike rentals, Rosalie...inflatable structures, restaurants....Really great!
