The menu isn't suitable for a big eater.
But for a leisurely lunch, it's perfect.

19/06/2026: The owner, who also waits tables, is a lovely person. Very chatty and friendly. It's also nice to be able to eat even after 2 pm.
The food is perfectly decent, though not exceptional.
07/06/2026: An exceptional experience, simple yet delicious cuisine—everything you could ask for. I ordered the flank steak with Époisses sauce and I wasn't disappointed. The portion was generous, the meat tender (sourced from a local butcher), and cooked perfectly, just as I'd requested—rare. The owner, Jean-Luc, creates a wonderful atmosphere, which is exactly what we love about this kind of establishment: people who are happy doing what they do. Mireille, Jean-Luc, and Laurent, if you see this review, thank you for this lovely slice of life!

17/06/2026: We were warmly welcomed for a good lunch. The staff attentively provided a suitable shaded spot for our family. The fries served were very tasty and not too salty. Service took a little longer than our toddler could handle in terms of energy, but that was made up for by the good food.
Because we have a number of (mild) allergies, it was important that we could communicate well with the staff. One of the employees spoke good English; we only had to mention the allergens once, and he knew exactly what we could and could not eat. If you have severe allergies to certain traces, I don't know if the kitchen can handle that; you need to discuss that carefully with them yourself.
A nice place to return to 😊
17/06/2026: A very generous and well-filled Époisses burger, perfect for those with a hearty appetite, made with excellent local ingredients – my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
I highly recommend it, especially after a few days of hiking in the Morvan region.

Excellent value for money.
04/01/2026: Set menu, one starter only, choice of two main courses, and one dessert only. Excellent value for money.
The restaurant decor is rather cold...you don't want to linger, no atmosphere or warmth. It's not the same as when we were used to the previous owners, but the food is good, which is the main thing.

06/06/2026: The reception was very friendly. We had a room in the rear (newer) part of the building on the first floor. The room was quiet, and you could even sleep with the window open. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is well located for exploring the city, and parking is no problem. Breakfast is simple, but everything is available and is constantly replenished.
Unfortunately, our room wasn't completely clean. There were still visible crumbs on the floor, and hair and glass/cup rings on the white table. The sliding door in the bathroom is a good, space-saving idea in principle, but the execution is flawed. You have to slide the door directly across the carpet, which makes it very difficult to open and close. It also sticks out significantly from the wall, creating a large gap, which somewhat compromises privacy when using the toilet. However, the room was still okay for one night.
04/06/2026: I recommend this establishment.
The staff is welcoming and professional. Everything was perfect until the owner arrived to take our payment. He was very unpleasant because we had booked through Smartbox. He claimed he had fed us for free and therefore lost money.
Simply withdraw from the system and you won't fill your establishment anymore.

27/07/2024: Un essai ayant passé par 2 fois à côté de cet établissement sans s'y arrêter, mais en le repérant...franchement pas déçu et nous avons gardé l'adresse !
21/07/2024: Le cadre est sympathique, l' établissement vient d' être repris par le célèbre homme d' affaires Julien Cohen.
Belle piscine exterieure appreciable en été.
Repas 40€ avec 3 plats (voir photos et commentaires) bien
Cocktail orangeade citron cointreau 9 € mais aucune saveur de cointreau dommage.
Pour la partie hotelière très propre, baignoire pas pratique, petit déjeuner copieux et de bons produits

17/06/2024: Génial 👍 un lieu a ne pas rater nous avons voyagé dans le passé et redécouvert une multitude d'objets des années 80 et les crêpes sont excellentes. Nos petits enfants et enfants ont adorés.
15/06/2024: deze creperie heeft een heel uitgebreid aanbod. Het interieur is een collectie van speelgoed en andere items uit de zestiger jaren. Heel origineel. De bediening is er vlot en de kwaliteit van het eten goed.
