30/09/2024: Accueil chaleureux malgré l'heure tardive (13h30 le dernier dimanche de la saison..), un jeune patron dynamique et avenant, une équipe agréable.
Les moules sont excellentes : à la crème de Pineau gouteuses bien que le parfum puisse être un peu plus fort, Chorizo Poivron Piment Espelette : un régal avec une très bonne balance de goûts, les meilleures depuis longtemps..
Un vin rouge oléronnais, léger mais parfumé, agréable en bouche et qui ne donne pas d'aigreurs..
Les desserts sont bons mais plus rustiques surtout au niveau de la présentation : la galette charentaise au Lemon curd : bel assemblage de goûts mais dommage que la galette soit broyée façon crumble.
Une adresse à retenir : j'y retournerais très volontiers !!

16/09/2024: To flee! Icy welcome from a waitress. Several things offered on the menu which are not available.
Our choice is mussels, tuna steak and minced steak on the children's menu.
The mussels were tiny and tasteless. The tuna steak not bad but accompanied by a cold mash! And worst of all was the hamburger steak for our 2 year old son which was charred. Obviously they placed it on the plate burnt side down so you wouldn't see. When our little one practically vomited we asked ourselves the question... photo as testimony.
I strongly advise against this restaurant.

Staff arguing in front of customers!
We left after 15 minutes because the waiter walked past us several times without calculating! Deplorable!

It's clearly a tourist trap. 20th the Burger, the fish without flavor, the children's formula, not great but we could have actually asked for more details, its fish fillet bathed in sauce (having tasted it, I didn't even want it). Unpleasant welcome. Go your way, walk a little more and you will find other restaurants that are friendlier and better located.

09/07/2025: Aside from the "special" welcome, the mussels and soufflé potatoes were delicious. The baba and profiteroles were spectacular and generous. We'll be back.
09/07/2025: We had a great time in this restaurant where the welcome was very warm and the service impeccable and fast, with the added bonus of a very beautiful view of the ocean, very good value for money

15/09/2024: Too bad that in September we can't eat pancakes without disturbing the staff 😱😱 no reception and waiting without someone coming to take your order and a little thought for the waiter from the kitchen not before 20 minutes for the people so after reflection you leave.......without eating crepe it shows that they no longer need money the tourists have passed 😱😱
14/09/2024: 5 cocktails €65 with no effort and no resemblance to the photos on the menu, can we call that theft? I believe so.

11/11/2025: So, there's quite a bit to say about this restaurant. First of all, when we were served, the dishes had bits of mold on them. The waiter was very slow, and the two women serving us weren't welcoming at all; they were just chatting instead of doing their jobs. Otherwise, the owner was pleasant but smelled of alcohol.
11/11/2025: A great meal with family and friends, but the service was incredibly slow, with very limited choices. Two seconds of enjoyment followed by a three-hour wait. The mashed potatoes and risotto were also very small portions. The staff were pleasant, it's true, but they didn't bother to have a drink or chat. One item they offered was out of stock, and there was mold in the grated cheese.
Otherwise, the beach is right next door.

12/09/2024: Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, als Vorspeise, Austern und Rilettes de Sardines als Hauptspeise, Tartare de Beuf sowie gegrillten Octopus als Tagesgericht nicht auf der Karte. Dazu einen Rosé. Die Nachspeisen waren ebenfalls vorzüglich, nun zum Punkte Abzug: schlecht gelauntes, unfreundliches und sehr langsames Personal.
12/09/2024: Nous avons passé quelques jours à l’île de ré.Très bon restaurant,plats très bien cuisinés,accueil très agréable,avec le sourire,nous y avons déjeuné deux fois.
Nous y reviendrons.A recommander.

22/09/2024: prise en charge de la clientèle rapidement. Rapidité du service correct, avec un serveur à l'écoute. prix correct cuisine simple mais bonne.
18/09/2024: Un peu plus 17€ pour un petit plat de moules (minuscules !) au curry, mais il serait plus exact de parler de sauce au curry agrémentée de quelques moules ! Et les frites on n’en parle pas , recuites et grasses.
Et la serveuse qui se fait apostropher vertement par le patron ou le collègue, devant les clients , pas terrible comme ambiance.
Nous n’y retournerons jamais .

Produits de qualité, on choisit exactement ce que l'on veut et la présentation est top. Que du bonheur!
Vivement notre prochain séjour à St Palais pour un nouveau plateau de fruits de mer

10/11/2024: Un capharnaüm, une terrasse désorganisé des serveurs dépassé et je vous laisse contempler la catastrophe des toilettes. Le manque d’hygiène de ma vie. Je n’ai jamais vu un café. Une brasserie aussi sale et aussi mal noté sur tous les réseaux sociaux à fuir à toute jambe.
