18/08/2026: We came for dinner and received a very warm welcome. We wanted to eat seafood, and the restaurant staff gave us excellent advice, both on the oysters and the wine. All this in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Well done to them for making our evening so enjoyable. We will definitely return on our next visit to La Rochelle.

02/06/2026: Negative: A small refrigerator is missing from the room, and the bathroom door needs improvement in terms of privacy (you can hear everything). Positive: The staff is lovely, especially Benjamin, who is fantastic. The breakfast is incredible. The hotel's location is perfect. The pool is a huge bonus. We will be back very soon.

26/08/2026: Excellent restaurant. We were very satisfied with this restaurant at the end of our vacation. The staff was very attentive (the owner is classy 😀). The waitress was pleasant and excellent with children. We received a very warm welcome. The products were fresh and of high quality. The menu is simple because it's mainly homemade, which is a guarantee of quality. The wait between courses was very convenient, which was much appreciated when you have children. The daily special was a succulent John Dory fillet and a perfectly cooked flank steak. Kudos to the chef (or rather, the cook, if I understood correctly). The waitress gave excellent advice on the white wine. In short, everything is very good and very professional at this restaurant. We can't wait to return.

18/07/2026: Staying in Saint-Palais, I was looking for a restaurant offering good food with a nice view (something you don't find in the seaside resort). The staff gave us a very warm welcome. We were seated on the terrace, and the view from the restaurant is breathtaking. It was a bit windy that evening. The very kind staff offered us a table inside by the window to preserve the view, as my partner was feeling a bit chilly. The recommendations from the head waiter were excellent, both in terms of food and wine. The service and the quality of the dishes were both top-notch. The Irish coffee to finish the meal was exceptionally well-prepared by the head waiter. My experience at this establishment is a 10/10. Thank you to the team who were fantastic throughout the entire meal! Special mention goes to our favorite waiter, who is a genuine person; you can clearly see that this gentleman loves his job! And also to his style of dress (purple trousers and Nike sneakers – he might recognize us!), which I personally adore!!

07/07/2026: During our day trip, we were lucky enough to stop at this absolutely fantastic restaurant. It's so nice to find fresh fish. The sea bass cooked over the brazier was simply divine. The seafood cooked over the brazier was also amazing. And the desserts were simply divine! 😍 Plus, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Thank you for this wonderful experience and the delicious food.

05/07/2026: A restaurant with many different atmospheres. We sat on the terrace overlooking the sea, and it was a truly lovely experience. As for the main course, the food was excellent. We ordered the manta ray and the duck breast. Both dishes were superb, and for dessert, we had some quite decent ice creams. The staff was very professional and friendly.

15/07/2026: Very quick and convenient online booking. Very welcoming. The setting is lovely and set back from the port. The seafood was excellent. One minor complaint, though: the hot shrimp in spicy sauce are served unpeeled, which isn't great! Sauce gets everywhere! In my opinion, they should be peeled before being cooked and served hot.

06/07/2026: The restaurant is small. The air conditioning works very well in the dining room, but the tables by the window are very hot. The difference is significant. As for the starters, the oysters were very good, as was the tartare. For the main courses, the salad was the best part of the meal, and the entrecote, considering the five-euro surcharge, was of poor quality. The staff was very attentive and professional.

21/08/2026: The place doesn't look like much. It's in direct competition with the restaurant next door, which is always packed. So we came to this one. And 5 stars for a perfect homemade meal. From the appetizer to the dessert! The chocolate fondant was a delight. Keep up the good work!
