02/04/2024: Le Chasseur is a cozy vonvivial restaurant in the center of Colmar. Limited menu but very fresh. The owner does the service, Madame does the bar. Price quality is perfect. Went there twice for tasting.

02/02/2024: We went in to have a coffee in Colmar. We had a latte and a croissant. I really liked the place. There were little sweets and handmade chocolates. We bought an order for two and a chocolate bar and paid 17.80 Euros.

As I entered, I was immediately struck by the tasteful décor, reminiscent of an artist's atelier, with soft lighting and a touch of artistic flair that set the tone for an exquisite culinary experience. The menu, a carefully crafted selection of seasonal ingredients, showcased a journey through flavors and textures, each dish artfully presented as if it were a canvas painted by a master artist. The attention to detail and the harmonious blend of flavors made each course a delightful exploration. The first dish, Asperge blanche d'Alsace, Betterave, Passion et sapin, was a delicate presentation of white asparagus, beetroot, passion fruit, and pine, bringing a refreshing start to the meal. The combination of earthy and citrusy notes created a perfect balance. Next, the Oeuf de poulette bio aux morilles et sabayon au vin jaune was a highlight. 03/04/2024: It was absolutely superb. We have been traveling through France now for ten days and had some great food but this was our favorite spot I especially loved the Jerusalem artichokes, so much I ordered two plates!! My husband, and teenage daughter were also very happy with all the plates and we all know how hard is to make kids happy! Excellent restaurant, excellent service and amazing food. I will come back to Colmar just so I can eat here again!!

24/03/2024: I knew this restaurant because I lived on rue des Augustins right next door. The atmosphere was more charcuterie and cheese planchas, well-chosen glasses of wine. I returned this week and then, a huge culinary slap in the face. I already recognized a waiter who had served my table at Chambard when he brought me the first drink. We talk and the restaurant has been taken over by a former cook from JY’s “next door”. In short, 5 dishes to share for €30 per person plus dessert. This evening, kiwi, vanilla cottage cheese and bread crumble to accompany. It came after multiple dishes (beetroot in blueberry vinaigrette, grilled Jerusalem artichokes with fresh Munster cheese and spicy sauce, carrots and cream cheese, Asian-seasoned tartare, smoked trout with very good vegetables under a sheet of rice. Indecent for the price, it's you who commits the heist of the century by going to eat there. I will definitely go once in the next few weeks. A great proposal!
