05/07/2026: Excellent and very pleasant service from the owner, his waitress, and his waiter. The starter, main course, and dessert were all delicious and very generous. Highly recommended.

01/07/2026: A small restaurant in the center. We stopped here for a meal after visiting the town. The food was good. We sat at the tables outside. Everything was pleasant. The gelato was also very good.

27/07/2026: While on vacation, we always return to eat at Le Relais des Moines. The homemade terrine is excellent, and the meat is very tender. The staff is pleasant, and the lady recognizes us and has a great sense of humor. Thank you!
23/07/2026: The welcome wasn't very friendly in such a touristy place... The ribeye steak, priced at €36, was more than half left on the plate because it was a very tough cut with a lot of sinew and fat. The Munster cheese gratin had many potatoes and only one very thin slice of bacon. A shame.

22/07/2026: Unfortunately, both savory tarts were overcooked and had a strong burnt taste. Yes, we ate them anyway because we had to get back on the road, but we did mention it to the waitress. A small gesture of goodwill or a complimentary dessert would have been appreciated.
05/07/2026: Pizza was terrible. Great location, price, and service. Pizza was dough and maybe not fully cooked. It was busy but anyone from Naples would have flipped out.

25/07/2026: 3 soft drinks and 1 water: 18.5 euros. No service. Glasses not clean.
19/07/2026: We sat for 5 minutes, then l a young man standing by our table - never said a word until we asked if we could help him - then we realized he was the server. Put our food order in with drinks. Never received our carafe of water. As soon as the food was served they asked for payment. No issue about that. Then the server proceeded to remove the plates and drinks not served 5 minutes previously. We stopped him and requested time to finish our meal. We felt rushed as if they wanted our table. As soon as we finished our meal and drink we gave our table to a couple looking at the menu. Please allow time to appreciate the meal and drink

17/06/2026: On Sunday, we ordered the set menu. When it came time to pay, the payment terminal wasn't working properly, so we had to swipe our card a second time. As a result, the amount was debited from our account twice. We returned to the restaurant and, despite the promise of a refund, we still haven't received it. We are very disappointed by this situation and are still waiting for the promised refund.
Due defect in pin apparaat 2 x betaald. Oigenaar wilde ons niet geloven en terug ondanks dat we het konden laten zien. Advice: ergens anders gaan eten
11/04/2026: I was given a coffee containing a hair. When I pointed this out, I even had to defend myself, and he asked if I had a problem. I replied that this was not the case and simply pointed out to him that there was a hair in my coffee.
After a sneer from the owner, I received a new coffee, but this time there was red lipstick on the cup.

01/09/2024: Vandaag gegeten in dit kelderrestaurant in Riquewihr. De sfeer is een beetje apart maar wel leuk. Bediening is aardig en attent. De sfeer is zeer ongedwongen. Één van de personeelsleden loopt in korte broek. Hier kan dit!
De kaart bevat voornamelijk gerechten met een lokaal en traditioneel karakter. Zelf kozen we voor een 3 gangen menu van € 24,- pp. de eerste gang bestond uit een traditionele quiche en een uientaart. Beide gerechten waren prima. Als hoofdgerecht kozen we voor de aardappelgratin met Münster en spekjes en Schweizenacken met lauwwarme aardappelsalade. In beide gevallen geen verfijnde gerechten of opmaak, gewoon lekker traditioneel eten.
Het dessert was 2 bolletjes ijs.
Samenvattend, we hebben hier genoten van traditionele gerechten zonder veel poespas. Prijs/kwaliteits verhouding wat mij betreft in orde.

08/09/2024: What a fabulous meal! We loved every course. Came for a relaxing Sunday lunch and had high hopes for the food but it far exceeded our expectations. Each course was full of favor (including umami), texture and visual appeal. Remarkable food. Clear from the components and flavor how talented the chef is. The chef was very kind, approachable and accommodating. He explained each dish in some detail.
The chef’s wife recommended the perfect bottle to accompany the meal. The wine list is carefully curated and we had a wine from the town; perfect with the food.
The restaurant is very interesting in terms of decor. Fits the cuisine- very artistic, novel, fascinating.
Thrilled to have had the opportunity to dine here.

08/12/2024: En visite en plein marché de Noël, nous nous arrêtons dans ce restaurant perché sur les hauteurs de Riquewihr. De l’entrée au dessert, ce fut excellent… un accueil dès plus agréable, et la compagnie de Gaya à notre table a été le petit plus… merci à vous et joyeuses fêtes
