03/03/2026: Fantastic experience at U Fornu restaurant in Calvi! Excellent restaurant! The flavors are sophisticated and perfectly balanced; you can taste the care put into each dish. The service is equally impeccable: professional and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you really feel at home. A truly wonderful place. Highly recommended!

12/10/2025: Well, this is a rather negative review of the restaurant's performance this year... to put into perspective because two years ago it was one of the best culinary experiences we had, us and our caterer friends from the island who accompanied us. But this time, nothing was right: the dishes were completely botched (the charcuterie plate was pathetic, a fish dish with two small pieces of fish swimming in a tasteless sauce, hastily placed, a meat dish that cannot be described (I should have taken a photo of these dishes... which were not at all worth the price of a gourmet restaurant)), the service was "absent" (the two young people kept taking breaks, the customers were waiting for their dishes, and we waited almost an hour for them!). We were so disappointed that we cut our meal short, and it wasn't the walnut liqueur offered by the owner that boosted our self-esteem. A word of advice: pull yourself together. It was a far cry from our first visit to your place. You're worth more than that.

03/12/2025: A wonderful time, an exceptional view, a very good starter, excellent Corsican wine, and sensational fish. The owner is welcoming and attentive, a very good businessman.

17/11/2025: A wonderful time in the sun, a very warm welcome, refined cuisine, and a truly decadent gourmet coffee... the staff were incredibly attentive.
