The main course was meager, there wasn't even a local beer, and the desserts were incredibly basic: fromage blanc, crepes, ice cream, and a chocolate fondant for €9.50. This isn't home cooking, for goodness' sake! The dining room is pleasant, but it's difficult to do everything yourself, from the welcome to the service and the cooking, while using high-quality, carefully selected ingredients. It's better to look for another restaurant. What a shame...
22/03/2026: Everything was a delight! We commend the waiter for his dedication in managing everything single-handedly and in such a relaxed manner. We were taken care of immediately, served promptly, and even learned the story behind the traditional Berthoud, which I highly recommend. The 5 stars are well deserved for the food, service, and atmosphere. Moreover, the prices are reasonable. Bravo! 👏🏼

02/04/2026: Delicious crepes. Reasonably priced. Great views. Really impressed by the customer service. The waitress remembered everyone's order (group of 8) and the proprietor came to check that we had enjoyed everything. We hadn't realised that we had stayed beyond closing time, but they did not hurry us out. We were made to feel very welcome.

03/04/2026: Traditional French ski resort restaurant. High end with delicious food. The starter of apple and black pudding was Devine. Our waitress was not the friendliest and spoilt it a bit but overall we had a lovely enjoyable meal.
29/03/2026: Years go by and this restaurant becomes increasingly gourmet and refined.
The welcome is very warm and every bite is exceptional; I highly recommend it.

15/05/2026: Excellent restaurant! Isabelle is very attentive to her customers. The dishes are excellent and homemade. The atmosphere is friendly.
14/05/2026: I found this place after 6 hours hiking. I was dying for a well deserved beer and Isabelle kept me well hydrated. 🤣
I came back a few days later to meet a friend and despite being fully booked, Isabelle went out of her way to accommodate us.
Highly recommend this place for the warm hospitality, cozy setting and great food!

21/03/2026: No greeting, they speak to us rudely, no politeness whatsoever. They refuse us a table under the pretext that we have to "buy something" even though we were just going to have coffee before eating our meal here.

19/04/2026: We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is genuinely kind, welcoming, and friendly, which makes all the difference.
The food was generally good, but it's a shame it wasn't piping hot enough when served; it detracted somewhat from the enjoyment.
We were seated in a small room behind the bar. The place is nice, but it could use a bit more light to be even more pleasant.
Despite these minor points for improvement, it's still a good place with a very friendly team.

The staff is simply outstanding: welcoming, smiling, and attentive from beginning to end. You can tell they love their work and want to make their customers happy.
The service is seamless, warm, and truly professional.
Thank you for this lovely time—we'll gladly be back!

And for mountain bikers, you can recharge your batteries (something we were refused at another restaurant), the owners are very friendly!
30/04/2026: I haven't even left the table yet 😂 My husband and I were so delighted to have eaten there! And yet we just stopped by on a whim. The food was good and healthy, it's a shame the salad of the day wasn't on the menu (beef salad 😊). The walnut tart for dessert was very generous. Everything was hearty and delicious. I highly recommend it with 6 stars!
