11/09/2024: Our meal began with excellence. We asked to have a table in a corner so as not to disturb other customers with our little dog. Unfortunately the arrival of another dog made us leave in a hurry. As the restaurant was not full, we did not understand why we wanted to put the dogs in the same place in the restaurant. The dish was nevertheless very good but very disappointed with the end of our dinner.

17/09/2024: De passage à Morzine, nous nous sommes arrêtés à la Chaudanne, sympathique restaurant et bar à vins. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible. Nous avons pris des tartiflettes accompagnés de salade et des coupes de glace en dessert. Nous nous régalés, et les glaces très bien présenté sur sa crêpe dentelle. Je recommande ce restaurant.

25/08/2024: Que dire c'est un regal pour les papilles avec des plats tous tres copieux et tres parfumes avec des odeurs tres suptiles, sommes restes une semaine en demi pension avec une variete de plats Bravo les cuistos Un accueuil tres bien, Un personnel competent et souriant ( un grand merci a Leia en particulier vous savez la ptite brunette avec ces barrettes! pour son sourire naturel et la presentation des plats Un beau decor interieur et exterieur bien propre Pti bemol sur la chambre qui donne sur la rue avec un petit peu de circulation mais il faut bien que les livreurs passent!! mais comme il faut se lever pour visiter!! 24/01/2025: Exceptional food and service. Could not fault either. One of the best restaurants in Morzine, without a doubt. And incredibly friendly owners who serve with a smile, and are obviously incredibly proud of their restaurant.

21/01/2025: Very good service But much too noisy and above all high prices for a very small quantity 27€/person per pierrade to have only 3/4 pieces of beef and the same of chicken is exaggerated

04/09/2024: Rental for 6 reserved for 4 people, master bedroom with an XXL bed + bedroom with 2 single beds + 1 convertible sofa. The kitchen space seems just right for 6 people. Balcony with views of the Morzine valley (sunset every evening from the balcony). Very well soundproofed residence. Loan of equipment for raclette and fondue, wide choice of board games for bad weather days. Car parked during baggage drop-off/loading (2 hours free under the residences) with trolleys available to collect belongings. Several walks possible directly from the residences on foot.

22/08/2024: A very well-run family hotel, a warm welcome, the rooms are spacious, clean, excellent bedding, the swimming pool and spa a real plus Half board is really great with attentive staff always smiling, a pleasure for the whole family with a special thank you to Sophie and Nicolas who were great We will come back without hesitation

26/08/2024: I've eaten quite a bit of ramen and the beef ramen here is up there with the very best. Broth = umami sensation | noodles = in-house made, perfect bite | beef = succulent, moist | soy egg = absolute banger of an egg! Whole package = welcome to flavour town! My fiance had the burger, I had a bite, and that bite was damn good! Drinks were fantastic, try the chicken salt mescal, and the double sour they had on tap. Service = ace, relaxed but attentive. Absolute winner of a spot.

16/01/2025: I should say this is a terrible place so that the "pearl of portes du soleil" could be preserved for the lucky few that know about it. But it doesn't feel right to say one bad word about this place even if that means you can keep it for yourself. That being said, this place is one of the best places to have dinner in the portes du soleil area, and it might even be the best in all over France! Here is why: - The owners Philip and Cecile are super friendly - The decent to the restaurant is one of the best especially when it is dark (that reminds me, bring a flashlight of some sort) - The food, especially the cheese and meat fondue are the most delicious i have ever had (accompanied with fresh fries and salad) - When ordering the cheese fondue (traditionally) they will add an egg to the last bit of the fondue which gives you a new dish - If you are sweet you'll get a home made chartreuse (if not just order one) - If you are not full at the end of your meal, you went to the wrong place. Good to know: The meat fondue is only available on week days as the butcher is closed in the weekends and they only serve fresh meat! Before you go: - Make sure you make a reservation by phone prior to your visit - Bring cash to avoid bank transfer hassle - Bring a flashlight with enough lumen - Hang your (ski) jacket outside - Make sure you enter with a positive mindset - Bring your singing voice as things might get musical After you leave: Tip Especially for Philip et Cecile: Merci d'avoir donné au monde cet endroit extraordinaire ! 01/09/2024: We only planned to stay for a drink but ended up having lunch. The food was delicious but the friendliness of the man looking after us, as well as the amazing views made this a special experience. Will visit again when in Morzine.

22/09/2024: We could not have hoped for a better place and crew than this beautiful venue where we celebrated our wedding this summer. While planning our wedding from far away, James was always so prompt and resourceful to help us with all the preparations. The weekend of our wedding itself was beyond our wildest expectations. The Farmhouse looked amazing, with beautiful mountain views in the background. Inside, the vibe was intimate and warm. We found ourselves congregating in the bar and lounge area with friends and family whether it was to enjoy a beer or have an impromptu reunion. James, Sam, Dorrien, and the whole team were so kind, organized, and calm throughout the entire weekend. The venue itself was magical from the gardens, tent, and lighting. The crew also perfectly integrated the decorations that we brought as well as the flower arrangements (they even saved the flowers and placed them throughout the Farmhouse for us to enjoy during the rest of the weekend). The dinner was delicious with generous portions, and again, so well-organized. Thank you to the bottom of our hearts to the Farmhouse crew to have made our wedding such a special moment.

13/09/2024: You will not regret a visit to The Farmhouse. The venue, location, staff, atmosphere, service, cleanliness, food, drink, interiors and overall comfort cannot be beaten. We had the best long weekend stay, where we celebrated our wedding with 100 friends and family - it was magical and every moment was unforgettable! I cannot wait to come back and visit.
