03/04/2026: Visited here in August 2025 with family. The food was great. The French onion soup was brilliant and the chips were really good. The service was quick. The décor is traditional French alps style. Overall recommended.

30/03/2026: The food here was truly standout - definitely the best restaurant in Morzine, and my duck was some of the best duck I’ve ever had. Service could have been a bit more attentive, and it was very very noisy, but that’s to be expected for an end of season busy restaurant serving a lot of groups.

28/02/2026: All the food that was eaten here was really nice. Outside these is a nice terrace that gets some nice sun until it falls behind the mountain. Friendly staff and like I said nice meals. There is a dog that walk around the terrace during the day and was inside (not during dinner time)

04/04/2026: Went here last night as a group of 8 for a surprise 40th - absolutely brilliant. Food was incredible, really high quality Staff were so lovely and super helpful with organising the surprise One of the best places to eat in Morzine. Highly recommend!

03/04/2026: Absolutely no sense of customer service. A group of two was refused entry under the pretext that the restaurant was "full," even though a group of six had just left. Go to Les Halles instead.

12/04/2026: Overall, we were very satisfied with our visit to Restaurant La Chaudanne in Morzine. The location is fantastic, especially if you're coming straight from the slopes – perfect for a relaxing break. The food was high quality, freshly prepared, and delicious. The regional specialties are particularly recommended. The portions were also generous. The service was friendly and attentive, although at times a little stressed due to the high volume of customers – which is understandable given the location. A bit more attention and speed would have been the icing on the cake. The ambiance is cozy and suits the alpine setting, but could be a bit more modern in some areas. All in all, a very solid restaurant with good food and a great location – we'll definitely be back!

09/04/2026: The best fondue we've ever had, by far, with excellent service. However, the vegetarian/vegan tart, which looked very promising, wasn't well made; the vegetarian in our group was very disappointed. The dish could easily have been better executed. The rest of us were very satisfied with our meals.

07/04/2026: A truly wonderful evening. The welcome was warm and professional. The service was also very attentive and pleasant. The leg of lamb and the truffle fondue were delicious. We look forward to returning.

31/03/2026: The restaurant is very good, the food is excellent, it's true, but the manager is absolutely terrible (and it's not the first time he's disappointed us). With a bill of over €500 for four people, we were practically thrown out because the manager needed our table for a second seating (which he hadn't announced). Thanks to the waitresses/waitresses for their kindness; you must have experienced the same thing we did that evening, to the point of being told we hadn't received our jackets quickly enough. I left feeling disgusted; it's a shame.

19/04/2026: We were very well received and the service was very pleasant. The fondue meal was excellent, and their selection of Savoy red wine was a real delight.

12/04/2026: I visited La Flamme and was very satisfied overall. The location right by the gondola is ideal – perfect after a day of skiing or hiking. The food was good. The atmosphere is cozy and fits the region well; you feel comfortable and can enjoy a relaxed meal. The service was friendly, although sometimes a little inattentive, especially when it got busier. Therefore, I'm deducting a point for service and consistency – there's room for improvement there. Overall, though, it's a good restaurant with fair prices and definitely worth a visit.

27/03/2026: Excellent value for money, with a delicious cheese board and a wonderfully comforting hot chocolate. I highly recommend it!

22/03/2026: It absolutely astounds me to see the awful videos and photos of these poor cows imprisoned in stalls and allowed no movement whatsoever, yet people ❤️ & like them! Perhaps the ❤️’s & Likers should spend the winter season with that nasty metal frame around their neck while chained to guarantee no movement. And yes I know this is due to snow outside & the cows can’t graze. No need to keep them locked up like that though, how about a barn they could at least move around in???? Response to reply below. I was giving 1 star to the way the cows are tethered up in those metal neck harnesses. I’ve now upped it to 3 in response to your comment. I know a fair bit about how farming works, grew up in Cornwall and had a lot to do with farms, mostly dairy. As for giving 1 star I give what I feel, you can see my reviews and I’ve never seen a business promoting itself with photos & videos of cows locked up like this, so I haven’t given any other mountain farms 1 star, yet. Where I grew up the cows were not locked up like this! I know this is common practice in these environments but it doesn’t have to be. You point out they are outside May-October so that’s 6 months chained up like the photo & video then, unless I am missing something. As for the excuse why they can’t move around, you’ve answered it yourself, “cost of the buildings” so the cows endure 6 months locked up like this so the costs are kept down, exactly my point. But as I wrote, I have upped the stars. I hope you can take on board that these cows are living creatures, have done no wrong but the system feels it is perfectly acceptable to imprison them like this……. To save money🤐

16/04/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An exceptional gastronomic experience! We just had an absolutely remarkable lunch at La Chamade, and it would be a shame not to share it. The asparagus ravioli was a real highlight: refined, elegant, and executed with precision and delicacy. A dish that immediately reveals the chef's mastery of the cuisine. The black pudding—served here without the traditional apples—was a true discovery: generously filled, cooked with care and creativity. You can tell that each plate is thoughtfully designed, not simply assembled. The ingredients are undeniably fresh. It makes all the difference. The Savoy wine, chosen simply from the wine list, proved to be beautifully elegant on the palate—a very pleasant surprise. And the gourmet coffee… a delight! A wonderful way to end an equally wonderful meal. But what perhaps surprised us most was the value for money: frankly, the price is very reasonable. That's rare, and it deserves to be highlighted.

10/04/2026: The service has been shocking this season, they really need more staff. We asked for wine 5 times and when it came it was without glasses and we had almost finished our main course. The rump steak was so chewy it had to be sent back. The next one was excellent but everyone else had finished eating! The chips that should have been with our ribs came half way through the course. This has been our favourite restaurant for 18 years. Sadly not this year!

23/02/2026: I came to eat with my friend after a great day of skiing. The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was friendly. We chose the tartiflette and it was delicious. Thank you to the Crot mountain pasture for the warm welcome.
