06/07/2026: The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is incredible! This is the place to be in Avoriaz for a festive break right on the slopes. The atmosphere under the sun is magical, perfect for après-ski with breathtaking mountain views. As for the food, it's pure bliss: their truffle pizza is simply exceptional, generous and fragrant, ideal to pair with a good glass of wine. The staff are super energetic and friendly despite the crowds. An experience not to be missed!

08/06/2026: I've been to La Folie Douce two years now – and it's been fantastic every time! Great DJs, great music, no cover charge, drink prices are perfectly reasonable for après-ski, friendly staff, cool dancers, clean restrooms, and always a fun atmosphere among the guests. Plus, they regularly have great themed parties (like Aperol Spritz). I'll be skiing in Avoriaz again next year, so I'll definitely be visiting La Folie Douce regularly!

14/08/2026: The staff are very friendly, responsive, and helpful. The menu is enticing, featuring a variety of salads, Savoyard specialties, tap water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and a pleasant outdoor terrace.

14/08/2026: We dined at this restaurant twice, and in particular enjoyed the raclette: a real treat! It was a generous portion, made with high-quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the staff, who are very friendly, smiling, and efficient, as well as to Alex, the owner, who is always very pleasant and welcoming. A truly wonderful place that we recommend without hesitation! We will definitely be back 😊

27/07/2026: The steak was disappointing. I ordered it medium-well, but it was very tough and difficult to chew. The French fries were overcooked, and overall I didn’t enjoy my meal. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations.

01/08/2026: Easy parking. Warm welcome. Top-notch service with a very friendly waitress. An aperitif where they even remembered to serve us olives, and a delicious meal (A very good and generous Savoyard fondue served with a nice white wine and a divine blueberry soufflé). Yes, everything was perfect for a wonderful evening. Many thanks to the whole team.

15/05/2026: This review isn't about the food, which is excellent, but about everything else—and unfortunately, it ruins the whole experience. Upon arrival, we were told to leave at a specific time, even though several tables were available. This is quite surprising. During the meal, the pressure was constant: the servers stared at our plates, monitored our progress, and even communicated our progress through their earpieces. On several occasions, this became downright uncomfortable. The most unpleasant aspect was the reaction to our request for a doggy bag. The dish was very good, and I simply wanted to finish it at home. Although the request was granted, we were subjected to inappropriate remarks and a persistent, sarcastic attempt to discourage me from ordering dessert. I did order dessert—and I finished it, much to the disgruntled waiter's surprise :) Another point: some tables, with customers who were clearly wealthier than us, received very different treatment… My review is really about one waiter, whom I absolutely do not recommend and who ruined our service. The location is pleasant, as they're lucky enough to have a beautiful view, but the food is excellent, some of the best I've ever had. However, given the prices and the service, you'll get exactly the same experience at any competing restaurant. We now understand the bad reviews about this establishment.

26/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. The cuisine has recently been taken over by the son, and it's always a delight. I'm a regular and always impressed; it's a true feast for the senses. A lovely wine list. Warm welcome, very pleasant setting. The best restaurant in Morzine for me 😉👍. I highly recommend it. Your taste buds will thank you 🤩.

11/02/2026: Wow, we certainly stumbled across a little gem of a place here! Really lovely cosy, homely atmosphere as soon as you walk in through the door. Rooms we comfortable and clean, the breakfast was delicious, the bar and cosy seating area was handy as there was a big group of us amd the pool was a lovely addition 😀 Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning Thanks ❤️

22/01/2026: This is my second visit in 2 years. Hotel is such a warm cosy place to stay in a great location in Morzine - roughly half way between super morzine and pleney lifts (so lifts are easily walkable for les gets or avoriaz direction). The staff are great - always attentive and doing their best to make it a pleasant stay. Rooms are in keeping with the hotel rating - comfortable and clean (like the rest of the hotel). There is a nice selection of food at breakfast - all good quality. I love sitting by the fireplace at night and another great feature is the heated outdoor pool - perfect for tired legs after a day of skiing. The hotel represents very good value for money in my opinion and I do not hesitate to recommend - especially for a ski trip (my experience).

17/08/2026: Excellent restaurant, beautiful decor, impeccable service. Generous portions with some Savoyard dishes that differ from those found in other nearby restaurants. The only downside is the final bill: a bit high. We still recommend it, however, as other highly rated restaurants in the area charge similar prices.

16/08/2026: Great Restaurant, delicious cuisine, friendly staff.

17/07/2026: Very large menu so will be difficult to make anything very well. We had escargot to start, 2 pizzas to share, 2 pastas and one risotto. The pastas were all cream based and were very bland, my daughter ordered the risotto and it tasted like nothing. We returned the risotto and we ordered a margarita pizza instead which also ended up almost being a 4 cheese pizza with the amount of cheese on it. Very ordinary food unfortunately. Atmosphere is o.k.

07/04/2026: A truly wonderful evening. The welcome was warm and professional. The service was also very attentive and pleasant. The leg of lamb and the truffle fondue were delicious. We look forward to returning.

31/03/2026: The restaurant is very good, the food is excellent, it's true, but the manager is absolutely terrible (and it's not the first time he's disappointed us). With a bill of over €500 for four people, we were practically thrown out because the manager needed our table for a second seating (which he hadn't announced). Thanks to the waitresses/waitresses for their kindness; you must have experienced the same thing we did that evening, to the point of being told we hadn't received our jackets quickly enough. I left feeling disgusted; it's a shame.

06/08/2026: We stopped in as it opened int he morning, the staff were very friendly and served us Myrtille tart with cream (amazing!) and coffee. Stunning setting sat outside on the terrace + great dog!

27/07/2026: We ordered takeaway pizzas and the waiter gave us a warm welcome, inviting us to sit on the sofas on the terrace. The atmosphere was also friendly and welcoming. The pizzas were excellent. I recommend it.
