27/03/2026: Food: First time at Boeuf à la Mode on a friend's recommendation. Excellent prime beef, homemade fries (as expected), and a glass of Burgundy (a rare treat) plus a tempting, crisp, and flavorful pan-fried vegetable medley. Service: Attentive and friendly, but the noisy coming and going between the kitchen and dining room was a minor drawback. The evening's busy schedule didn't warrant this fuss. Atmosphere: Aside from the above, it's pleasant, unpretentious, and you feel right at home.

18/03/2026: It had been 10 years since I'd been to a Hippopotamus, and what a wonderful rediscovery it was in January 2026! A steakhouse atmosphere with all the delicious aromas that go with it. A very varied menu. The service is efficient and very pleasant. We appreciated the little chips to accompany our aperitif. The dishes were very good, and the chestnut dessert was a pure delight! I will definitely be back! Reservations can be made online. Update following my third visit in March 2026: Thank you to Rachel, who was particularly efficient and pleasant. A thank you also to the rest of the team for their kindness. The food is always top-notch! And that applecake was delicious! 🤪
