01/11/2025: Truly exceptional, a real change from the other restaurants nearby. The management is very respectful and attentive. The dishes are delicious and refined. The prices are very reasonable. Go there, you'll be delighted. I just learned that this restaurant is closing permanently! A HUGE LOSS for the town of Agde, really. It would have been better if it had been the other one next door...

22/10/2025: A truly fantastic restaurant! There were seven of us, and everyone was delighted. The welcome was friendly, and the service was very attentive. The menus were also available in German, which made ordering easy. The dishes were very creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The "Little Delight" set menu is especially recommended. The gratinated mussels, the red mullet, and the special lemon tart were all outstanding! Paying by card was no problem. The ambiance on the little boat is truly lovely. We'll definitely be back!

09/08/2026: The restaurant deserves all the stars 🌟. We were greeted by the super friendly owner, and the waitresses were very smiley! The bartender was the same; he came to our table to ask if we needed anything. Absolutely superb restaurant, bravo!

09/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome. The menu offered a wide variety of choices. We opted for the €19.90 set menu, and frankly, the portions were very generous. The staff were attentive. We highly recommend it.

14/08/2026: I came for 2-3 days after a trip to the beach. The welcome was fantastic, the staff is great, and the food is good. I highly recommend it.

25/07/2026: Seafood dish with mussels, but half the shells were empty. The dessert we ordered was panna cotta, but the base was set in jelly. It was July 14th, 10:30 PM, and we had to leave. The owner had turned off the lights, which made us hurry up and leave. Disappointing.

15/08/2026: A truly wonderful culinary discovery. With the heatwave, it's hard to find fresh, delicious, and original dishes. The chef at Bistro has found the answer; he delights us from the sharing-friendly appetizers to the mouth-watering desserts. The waiter was incredibly attentive. Top-notch. I highly recommend it.

12/08/2026: A must-visit! We live in Isère, but whenever we have the chance to be near this restaurant, we stop by. The service is quick and friendly, and we always order the Mezze Royal, which lets us try everything. Satisfaction guaranteed! 👍

09/08/2026: We had a fantastic time at this place! The waitress was absolutely lovely, so welcoming and smiling from beginning to end. There's a real family atmosphere, and you immediately feel at home. As for the food, it was delicious, everything was wonderful! I highly recommend it 😊

08/07/2026: L'Ami Louis is a French restaurant located in the center of the modern tourist town of Cap d'Agde. It gets very busy in the evenings during the summer, so reservations are recommended. The dishes are beautifully presented, with a wide selection of seafood. The atmosphere is relaxed.

20/06/2026: Excellent restaurant! Eating at L'Ami Louis has become a ritual whenever we're in Cap d'Agde. The portions are generous and delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant!

17/08/2026: The waitresses do what they can, but unfortunately, it's not enough. A smile is no substitute for good taste or culinary skills. This was our first and last experience at this restaurant; others on the same street are significantly better. We had reserved a specific table, but upon arrival, it had been given to us by the owner, who seemed completely incompetent and was also verbally abusing the staff. He refused to listen to his waitress, who had clearly indicated that the table was already reserved. The tapenade served as an appetizer was not good and summed up our entire meal. The various dishes were tasteless (lamb, burger, pasta, fish of the day), and the fries were dry and greasy. We ordered swordfish, and no one asked how we wanted it cooked; it was overcooked. We were offered the daily special vegetables, but at 9:30 PM the waitress didn't know what they were. This is basic customer service in the restaurant industry. It's impossible to recommend a restaurant where the food is this bad. The burger at the nearby snack bar was much better, as were the fries... If you have any taste and any empathy for employees, avoid this place.
