18/10/2023: Food was decent enough, really good value. Coffee was terrible though

02/10/2023: We arrived in the morning already to have coffee. The waiter didn't seem to want to come and punish us. But finally, eureka our order was taken. From there, at lunchtime, we came back to eat. We sat down and waited at least 10 minutes before the waiter deigned to come see us even though he had been seeing other people who had arrived after us. We ordered the appetizer and the main course. So the hearty dish but on the other hand the drink never arrived (pitcher of rosé). So water with the meal (it doesn't hurt). Then we wanted a coffee but the same never happened. As a result, we had to ask for the bill at the counter because it didn't arrive. In the end, a limp waiter who was tired of working (you have to change jobs), a boss who watched without doing anything, another waiter as limp as the first brief lack of organization and yet not overwhelmed at that moment. So if you want advice, RUN AWAY... A word to the wise.

29/08/2023: To flee !!!! After eating mussels marinière, I ended up in the emergency room in Pezenas the next day, allergies, hives and swelling of the face, which I am used to eating regularly. I advise you to go your way.

22/08/2023: Second visit to eat many delicious grilled sardines! Entrecôte for my husband with fries and salad. A very warm welcome, even when 6 of us came without a reservation! And what a beautiful view of the Grau. A wonder. I recommend.

15/03/2024: Hippopotamus Restaurant, super nice refined cuisine, A good treat to eat at the table, there is a menu and a la carte, to choose a good steak with homemade green pepper 🏠. reasonable price, next to the U cafeteria with a small terrace in front of the parking lot, very practical for doing shopping at the same time 👍👍👍👍

10/05/2024: we strongly advise against it!!! mussels not fresh! small and lots of empty shells! what little there was was lint!!! sauces no taste! to believe that they were from the day before!!! we realized at the end that the toilet repairman was also the cook??? following this meal: Food poisoning for both!!!

11/03/2024: We came to the Secret’s by the Rabbit evening on Saturday evening. A friendly welcome, a very decent buffet with 2 drinks, comfortable cuddle corners and a good DJ, too bad the singer ruined the atmosphere! The decor needs to be reworked and the seats are really uncomfortable, it feels like a village hall.

11/05/2024: Very popular tourist area. So there is no need for repeat customers. Was escorted to a table and left to sit for 10 minutes without menu, water, or bread. We ordered mussels mariniere. These amazing portions arrived with French fries. The fries were fine. The mussels were cold, dry, overcooked, and tasted only of parsley. What looked to be a good portion was overpriced for the quality. 1/4 of the shells were empty, a lot of shells were broken, and shrapnel pieces were caught up in the mussels. Mussels from empty shells were not at the bottom of the pit. I was really disappointed and expected more, especially when you here people boast about French cooking being the best there is. My advice is to stay well away. You won't be writing home about this restaurant. Service was super quick when it came time to pay. It had gotten busy, and there was a queue for tables at every restaurant in the area. Tables were at a premium.
