28/11/2023: I can't judge this establishment because I haven't eaten there yet. But I will go when it reopens. What I judge is the state of the beach once this pop-up restaurant is removed from the beach. It is a shame to make a restaurant so beautiful and in harmony with the sea and the beach and then once removed to leave the concession so dirty. Between wood and a huge quantity of screws, electrical cables and ducts. It’s a shame to take advantage of tourists in summer and leave the trash for the locals.

30/04/2024: where to start? This restaurant was recommended to us for its fresh and local fish, No reservation worries, welcomed until the time of ordering. Don't ask the lady who takes notes for advice, every question seems to bore her and looks down on you if you don't know anything about fish. Then if you have the misfortune to cancel your order because the fish you are presented with is too big for your appetite, he doesn't like it! Because yes you can order whole fish, we come and present it to you before cooking, so normally we give you the choice if it doesn't suit you! As punishment we waited 1 hour to be served, there were 5 of us at the table and to make matters worse, we did not have our meals at the same time. Afterwards I almost hurt myself with my glass which was cracked and which broke in my hands while trying to drink, my vegetables were not cooked, I do not recommend the aioli, vegetables cooked in water without taste without flavor, what a desappointment! we will not return there. What a shame, because the owner seemed to take great care of her loyal customers, vacationers flee!!!

04/04/2024: The best pizzas and panini we have ever eaten!!!!!! Roger is funny, frank, friendly and passionate about what he does. Fresh, excellent quality products with sauces of which only he has the secret. The best !!!!!! 👍👍👍 Thank you for treating us so many times!!! We're coming back, we're coming back!!!! 😊 If you haven't tried it yet, you're really missing out!!!

My partner's piece from the butcher cooking rare tender meat, nice piece, apple gratin 🥔, well cooked and tasty Fondant chocolate dessert with a salted butter caramel heart and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to die for 🤪 Visit from the chef we thanked him for his talents behind the stove 👍👏 One of the best restaurants in Cape Town!!!!! Nice team, really quality and friendly Full box We will come back with pleasure We returned this year in 2023, guaranteed relief, thank you for the wok chicken, top seasoning without water sauce as read previously 👍👌 Thanks to the boss and his waiter team for the welcome and our taste buds See you next year !!!!

30/03/2024: Very disappointed, we had an expired fuzetea from 01/31/2024 we brought it back to the bar when we cashed out, the cashier was already not smiling, then we spoke to her kindly about our drink no excuse no smile very cold not even a thank you I will check the other bottles. We did not find the places very clean label on the table half peeled off and dirty, dusty table leg, average floor. We will not go back!!!

Smiling, welcoming waiter and very good advice on the choice of dishes. We hope that the boss of 1664 keeps it for the winter season 😉
